BRITISH Model Mark IV Webley break-open revolver #106144 (back of cylinder shaved for .45 ACP using half-moon clips) mfg. by Webley in c.1913. Very Good condition, with 60-70% remaining bluing, bore is very strong and bright. Round "bird-head" grips replaced by form-fitting custom square-bottomed Walnut grips. CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #477133 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Bohemian War Factory, Prague in mid 1945 immediately postwar. This pistol was manufactured from parts made under Nazi occupation but assembled after their defeat. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% high-polish blue finish with nearly full "straw" color on trigger, extractor and hammer, the slide retaining the Nazi fnh-code but lacking any Nazi markings. All-matching numbers, black bakelite grips are not chipped and lack a manufacturers marking. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $375. C&R
CZECH Model CZ-45 semiautomatic pistol #63795 (.25 ACP) mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka AG, Strakonice in 1947. UNISSUED, as-new condition, with 100% bluing, all original "straw" color on trigger, hammer and extractor. All-matching numbers with CZ-50 type slide markings. GERMAN Model P-08 "Luger" semiautomatic pistol #7144k (9mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1936. Excellent condition with 96% original bluing and over 70% "straw" color on trigger, extractor, disassembly-lever, and safety. Bore is slightly frosted but is extremely strong and bright, All-matching numbers (44) except for toggle, which is a DWM-logo replacement numbered 16. Near Excellent condition, with 95% bluing and just a bit of speckling on left side of slide from being "holstered wet". Bore is near-perfect and mirror-bright. Nazi-markings (WaA135) bold. GERMAN Model PPK Walther semiautomatic pistol #292680K (.32 ACP) mfg. at Walther in c.1940. Near Excellent condition, has been reblued due to pitting (from being "holstered wet") on left side of slide and has a even flat-black finish. Bore is a bit pitted, but rifling is very strong and action is fantastically-smooth. Nazi police-markings (E/c) on left side of frame bold, unit-marked K.H.113 on front-strap. GERMAN Model 38H semiautomatic pistol #475907 (.32 ACP), mfg. at Sauer & Son, Suhl in c.1944. Excellent condition, with 99% original bluing and all-matching numbers with a near-perfect mirror-bore. This is a rare transitional-issue with the serial-number on the left side of the frame but retains the slide-safety. Nazi-marked, with E/37 on left side of triggerguard. Left grip has been broken and repaired, however Gun Parts Corp has replacement grips for $19.70 (item # 446210). Includes two proper magazines and leather (non-military) flap-holster. HUNGARIAN Model 37M Frommer semiautomatic pistol #145822 (.380 ACP), mfg. by Femaru Fegever circa 1936. Excellent condition, with nearly complete original high-polish bluing. Bore slightly pitted but quite bright and strong and certainly serviceable, otherwise 98% with some very minor wear at corners and edges. This was the official sidearm of the Hungarian Army throughout the later 1930's and was a favorite weapon of the German Luftwaffe after Nazi occupation. Nice grooved-walnut grips, 37M-marked seven-round finger-rest magazine with matching-numbers stamped on left side, Hungarian crown proof on triggerguard. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $375. C&R
HUNGARIAN Model 37 Kal 7.65 Frommer semiautomatic pistol #30768 (.32 ACP), mfg. in Budapest by Femaru Fegever (Nazi-code jhv) in 1941. Near Excellent condition, right side of slide shows slight holster-wear. Bore excellent and very bright. All-matching numbers, Nazi-marked with swastika and WaA56 inspection-markings. SPANISH Ruby-type semiautomatic pistol # 96616 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Gabilondos y Urresti (now known as Llama) in Elgoibar in 1914. Near Excellent condition with 90% original bluing on frame and slide. Bore is quite bright and very strong, checkered walnut grips are intact. This firm originated the Ruby-type pistol, and due to many French orders for it during WWI enlisted over forty firms to help them with production (the French bought over 700,000 Ruby pistols during and just after WWI). U.S.A. "Victory Model" Lend-Lease revolver #819625 (.38 Smith & Wesson) with 5" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1942. Excellent condition with 95% or better original Parkerized finish and a near-perfect bore, case-colors still vivid on hammer and trigger, Australian Proofs on right side of frame, as well as FTR\ MA 54 (indicating "Factory Thorough Repair" in 1954). ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action rifle #E3321 (7.65x53) mfg. by Loewe in 1897. Excellent condition, with 95% strong bluing with springs exhibiting a vivid fire-bluing. Crest has been scrubbed (as usual), all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), bore is strong and near-mirror bright. Original walnut stock and short handguard has only a few handling-marks with original finish and bold cartouches. Includes non-marching bayonet, scabbard and frog with ground crest in VG+ condition. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher long-rifle #8386S (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1916. Excellent, arsenal-refinished to as-new condition with full 100% bluing and sharp mostly-bright bore. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # T4824 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1915. An original example in Very Good condition with 80% or better original bluing and sharp somewhat bright bore. Bolt, underside of rear-sight, forend and nose-cap matches receiver, OSTER. GENDARMARIE enclosing Hapsburg eagle (Austrian Police) stamped atop barrel-flat. Excellent, with 90% military phosphate external finish on metal and original birch furniture with grooved rear handguard. Has an excellent 5-groove bore, all-matching numbers (un-numbered magazine) with 0-marked bolt-head. All-early (non Mk.I*) features (including milled leaf rear sight, with all parts stamped with squared-S. South African property-marked (broad-arrow inside of large U) above chamber, U.S. PROPERTY stamped on side-rail. Wood has some minor scuffs and handling-marks but is quite attractive. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.I* Enfield bolt-action rifle #84L6267 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch in 1945. Very Good, with 70% military stoving chipping from phosphate external finish on metal and original birch furniture with front handguard being a replacement having a much darker color. CHINESE Model 21 bolt-action short rifle # B03394 (8x57), mfg. at Kwantung Arsenal in 1921. Good condition, with most remaining exterior finish turned to plum, with strong but dark bore. Mismatched, with CZ-made bolt and no slider on rear-sight. Wood has considerable handling-marks but is sound with likely original finish, a cartouche containing Chinese ideographs on right side. ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 7104kk (8x57) mfg. by Bystrica (Nazi code dou) in 1943. Good condition, with essentially no external finish and no matching-numbered parts. Nazi markings pinged and receiver stamped with Star of David. Stamped barrel-bands with "winter" triggerguard and non-detachable magazine floorplate. Bore is mostly bright and quite strong. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine #ST4180 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Gardone in early 1943 (year XXI of Mussolini). Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% bluing and very bold markings and a mirror-sharp bore. Buttstock matches receiver with bold cartouche, looks like it has a couple coats of Tru-oil on it, otherwise pristine with no signs of having been sanded. UNIMPROVABLE quality! Not import-marked.
