ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # C1813 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1910.  Near Excellent condition, with 90% bluing on most parts, receiver in the white (as is proper) with polished bright finish. Argentine crest above chamber clear. All-matching numbers, has mostly bright and strong bore. Dark walnut stock has a few dings and handling-marks, handguard has a few dings and an arsenal repair on left side. PHOTOS . . . $425.   C&R    SOLD

AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # 96493 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1918 with Australian Department of Defense property-marks on left side of chamber.  Excellent-PLUS condition, essentially UNFIRED since last rework and still in the arsenal grease. Nice early "Lithgow shield" emblem on receiver. All matching numbers, FTR marked MA / 51 with 1951-dated barrel. Some handling-marks, scrapes and compressions on wood. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry rifle # 922U (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917.  A rearsenaled long rifle in Excellent condition with 95% or better bluing with matching parts that headspace correctly. Bore is very bright and sharp, Elm buttstock has a few scratches, scuffs and cracks (by buttplate) from handling but very attractive.   Not import marked.  PHOTO . . . $395.   C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Sht LE No. 1 Mk. I bolt-action rifle # 8439N (converted from its original .303 to .22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Enfield in 1897.  A military Long Lee officially converted initially by Enfield in 1905 to the SMLE pattern, then converted to ".22 Pattern 1914 No. 1" by A. G. Parker as a single-shot trainer. Very Good or better overall condition. Has fully blued finish with very bright and strong bore. Front and rear volley-sights have been removed as well as the magazine cut-off, but (empty) magazine present. Bolt, nose-cap and forend is matching receiver. Stock a bit beat-up but retains its original finish but is sound (butt-piece a bit loose and looks to be newer than the rest of the rifle). Missing rear sling-swivel. BRITISH Sht LE No. 1 Mk. I bolt-action rifle # 1262 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1901.  Actually a "Khyber Pass" fabrication that only slightly resembles a legitimate Enfield.  Full bluing with a shiny bore and front and rear volley-sights. Front band looks like it is from a 1903 Springfield, stock is pretty nice. An oddity not guaranteed to function (and we do not recommend trying to make it function), but looks nice anyway. CHINESE Model 56 Siminov SKS "Cowboy's Companion" semiautomatic carbine (7.62x39) mfg. by Factory 26.  UNISSUED condition with zero evidence of use. These "paratrooper" configuration SKS's were made by Norinco for Navy Arms with integral scope mount on left side of receiver and perforated metal handguard as standard equipment.  All parts mismatched, bayonet was not allowed to be attached when imported and is not included.  Includes cleaning-kit in butt-trap. CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # H39424 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1957. An Excellent-PLUS original example, with full parkerized finish and a mirror-bright bore. All-matching numbers with front sight hood intact.  Highly figured myrtle wood stock has original finish and is quite attractive. Includes one 10-round magazine. Not import marked, most likely the nicest original example we have ever encountered, and worthy of the finest collection. PHOTOS . . . $750.   C&R   SOLD

EGYPTIAN "Rasheed" semiautomatic carbine # 3448 (7.62x39), mfg. at Maadi  in 1967. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% or better external bluing and a mirror chrome-line bore. Excellent beech stock has been nicely refinished. One of the nicest and most attractive Rasheed rifles we have ever encountered. PHOTOS . . . $975.  C&R    SOLD

FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 11795 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by VKT in 1941. Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a strong mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching or scrubbed. Left-flat of receiver marked Ad. Mz. Deutch. R. (a WWI German-capture marking indicating the rifle this receiver was originally attached to was assigned to a German artillery depot at either Mainz or Metz). Includes cleaning-rod and metal sling-swivels, One-piece stock has AV3 3039 cartouche on right side with only a few minor dings and scratches from storage.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R      SOLD

FINN Model P-27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 13273 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by AV1 in 1927. Very Good condition with most bluing on all metal parts intact and a mostly-bright strong bore (counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-body, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod and leather sling-swivels, two-piece Finn stock has some minor dings, gouges and scratches from actual use.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R    SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 59965 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1942.  Near Excellent condition with 80% or better bluing on all metal parts and a near-perfect mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Number on bolt-knob NOT matching (7990, but headspaces correctly), numbers on magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed (as usual). Includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has lots of attractive flame-type figure with SAKO cartouche and some dings and scratches from actual use, handguard has lengthwise crack. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 224160 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1941.  Very Good condition with 70% or so fading bluing on all metal parts and a near-perfect mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob and magazine floorplate (both stamped 4160), buttplate scrubbed (as usual). Includes cleaning-rod. Three-piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has bold SAKO cartouche quite a few scrapes and dings from actual combat use.  Includes 1959-dated Finn arsenal-tag. FRENCH Model 1886 R35 Lebel bolt-action cartridge carbine # K26789 (8x50R) mfg. by St. Ettienne in 1888 (with N-marked chamber). Very Good condition, much remaining oil-blacked finish on metal parts. All matching numbers (unusual for these) and functional. Bore is strong but not very bright. Stock is quite dinged up and oil-soaked with a small arsenal-repair to right side of forend. FRENCH Model 1916 Berthier bolt-action carbine # AD34521 (8x50R) by Continsouza in 1918. Very Good or better original condition with 80% blued finish on all metal and a nice replacement wood stock. FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # N57184 (7.5x54 MAS) mfg. by St. Ettienne after 1948. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with 95% parkerized finish intact. Bolt matching receiver, no other parts match. Gorgeous mirror-bright bore. Includes integral spike-bayonet, Nice dark walnut stock has a few minor scuffs and dings from handling and storage. ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 5319G (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Brno (code swp) in 1945.  Near Excellent condition, with most blued finish intact with mismatched parts. Top of receiver stamped with small Star of David. Bore is dark and frosted, wood looks new and appears to be from a Yugo-captured 98k with cupped buttplate. PHOTOS  . . . $275.   C&R    SOLD

ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Cavalry Carbine # QN833 (6.5x52) mfg. by Gardone in 1940. Near Excellent, with 90% bluing, bore a bit rough but strong. PERSIAN Model 98/29 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # R6308 (8x57), mfg. by Brno in 1939 (A.H. 1317).  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing. Has perfect mirror-bright bore and all-matching numbers, all markings clean with a magnificent lion-crest above chamber. Walnut stock has a few handling-marks and scuffs, but is very attractive with leather sling.  Not import marked.  PHOTOS . . . $525.  C&R    SOLD

POLISH Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # KD28168 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Radom in 1953. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright perfect bore. All-matching numbers, wood nearly mar-free. PHOTOS . . . $410.    C&R    SOLD

SWEDISH Model 1867/89 Rolling-block single-shot rifle # 586/2869 (8x58R), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1870 as a 12.17x42R rifle, re-barreled at Carl Gustaf  in 1891 to the 8x58R caliber.  Near Excellent condition, with most metal browned from age and actual use. A really nicely marked example, all-matching with great bright bore with very strong rifling. Full military configuration, including cleaning-rod (these are usually missing). Stock and handguard has very few of the expected handling-marks with original finish and lots of cartouches. Fully functional, not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $750.  Antique, no FFL required    SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 22103 (6.5x55), mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1899 with straight bolt and threaded muzzle (with threaded metal cap).  Very Good or better condition, with 70% bluing on all major parts, virtually no blue remaining on small parts (bands, etc). Has strong markings and a bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/0).  All-matching numbers except magazine-floorplate and cleaning rod. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 328378 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1914 with straight bolt and non- threaded muzzle. Excellent condition, with almost full bluing on all metal parts. Has strong markings and a bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.53/3).  All-matching numbers except bolt-release and rear sight, unnumbered cleaning rod. SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 603862 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna  in 1941 with bent bolt and threaded muzzle. Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts (some wear on triggerguard from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/2).  All-matching numbers (firing-pin and bolt-shroud not numbered). Rear sight is calibrated for 100-600 meters. SWISS Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull infantry rifle # 438777 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1917. All-matching numbers except magazine (453792).  Very Good PLUS condition with most original bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore, bolt handle not chipped.  Walnut stock and handguard has original finish with numerous minor handling-marks from actual use. U.S.A. Model 1884 Trapdoor single-shot infantry rifle # 470801 (.45-70 Govt.) mfg. by Springfield Arsenal in 1889.  A correct as-issued (and unaltered) rifle in Very Good condition, with nice bluing on external surfaces and an amazingly Excellent bright bore. 100% functional. wood retains its original finish and has intact 1889-dated cartouche (as well as the expected handling-marks from actual use).  Includes cleaning-rod.  A quite attractive example that has not been "messed with" like so many others we have encountered.
