    EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 3520 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1956. Excellent condition, full original blued finish with a mostly bright very strong bore. Beech stock and handguard has many handling marks (mostly scuffs and scratches) from actual use, painted Arabic numbers removed from left side.     FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 86301 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka  in 1939. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt-body numbered 86301 (matching).  Two-piece Finn stock has a few scuffs but is otherwise as-new.   Scarce.  PHOTOS . . . $1250.      C&R      SOLD

    FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 4300 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Bohler-Stahl  on an undated Tula receiver.   Very Good condition, with 60% or better fading bluing and an extremely bright bore.  Bolt knob numbered 00 (matching).     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 258496 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1945. Excellent-PLUS, literally UNISSUED condition with 99% or better bluing on all metal parts with mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching or scrubbed (as usual). Includes cleaning-rod.     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 301164 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1967. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright very strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod.     FINN Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 494500 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1921 with straight bolt and threaded muzzle, [SA] stamped on left side of receiver.  Excellent condition, with 90% or better strong bluing on all metal parts. Has strong markings and a bright and strong bore  (disk marked 6.51/3).  Bolt-knob renumbered 500, rear sight and other bolt parts not matching.  Beech stock & handguard has a few handling marks and a very narrow and stable under 1" long crack at tang but is otherwise sound with range plate tacked to right side.  Quite attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $950*.     C&R     

    GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2139i (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (code bnz) in 1941.  Excellent condition with nearly 90% bluing and intact Nazi markings.  All original and matching serial numbers on all parts (including stock). The bore is mirror bright and very strong.  Buttstock is laminated with cupped buttplate with very strong ORIGINAL markings on bottom of stock.     GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8678i (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (code bnz) in 1941.  Excellent condition (not a Russian capture), with nearly 90% bluing and intact Nazi markings, matching but for bolt (which is matching itself). Has solid front band, all other small parts also milled. The bore is mostly bright and quite strong. Triggerguard, magazine floorplate and both barrel bands numbered 8678 (matching receiver and barrel), bolt (and all bolt parts) stamped 7191b.  Buttstock is laminated with cupped buttplate. Includes cleaning-rod and correct leather sling with buckle. Not import marked, MOST bringbacks have mismatched bolts as they were removed during their transport home by ship and rarely were reunited with their proper rifle when landing in the USA.     GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 1107m (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (code bnz) in 1944.  A Russian captured rifle in Excellent condition with 99% rebluing, Nazi swastika fainly struck but present (and not purposly obliterated).     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine, no Series,  # 609610 (6.5x50) mfg. by Mukden, Manchuria Arsenal in April 1937 to April 1939. Excellent condition with full bluing. Top of bolt handle (plus all bolt parts) and bayonet-lug numbered 610. Mum has been heavily ground, missing cleaning rod. Bore is strong and very bright.     JAPANESE Type 44 Arisaka bolt-action carbine Series 2, # 10952 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1919.   Excellent condition with 95% or better original finish remaining. Bolt not matching (however all bolt parts, and action cover, is stamped 952 to match receiver), with intact mum. Very strong and surprisingly bright bore. Stock has original finish with some of the expected handling marks, includes original leather sling (which are rare all by themselves). Functional and complete with attached spike-bayonet, stacking hook is missing and has been replaced by bolt so the bayonet will function. Repro stacking hook is included, but will require some fitting to function No import-marks. Has shiny metal memorial plaque tacked on right side attesting to it having been captured by B. J. PITTARI, who was serving with the 5th Fleet Submarines and USS Euryale while stationed at the Sasebo Naval Base in Japan shortly after the war ended.   PHOTO . . . $1750.     C&R     SOLD

    JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle, no series, # 1991 (7.7x58) mfg. by Nagoya Arsenal in late April 1941. Very Good PLUS condition with some browning and "freckling" of metal, has a strong and bright chrome-lined bore. All-matching serial numbers with plum bolt-handle, intact mum, metal action cover not numbered.  Rear-sight is ladder type with aircraft-wings, missing monopod, includes original cleaning-rod. Wood has original finish with some heavy dings and scars from actual battlefield use.  Includes original leather sling (rare) which is barely stitched on rear sling swivel.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle series 4, # 19867 (7.7x58) mfg. by Nagoya Arsenal in February 1943 to May 1944. Very Good or so condition with thinning bluing with some pitting on bolt and a dark stain on the right side of stock (both most likely from contact with blood). Very strong and bright chrome-lined bore. All-matching serial numbers with plum-type bolt-handle, intact mum. Rear-sight is ladder type with aircraft-wings, missing monopod and cleaning rod.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 25 # 52979 (7.7x58) mfg. at Kokura in January-Fall 1945. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and bolt parts numbered 979 (matching), intact mum. This type has fixed peep rear sight and inverted V front sight (without guards), no provision for cleaning rod, bore is not chrome-lined but is very bright with strong rifling. Stock and handguard has likely been sanded with almost none of the expected dings and handling marks.  Not import-marked, functional and attractive. PHOTO . . . $975.    C&R   

    JAPANESE Type 2 Arisaka bolt-action Paratrooper takedown rifle # 17759 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in 1944.. Truly Excellent condition with full original bluing, all-matching serial numbers on rifle components, assembly numbers 317 on barrel and 718 on back half (these were often stored separately).  Intact mum, bolt (and all bolt parts) stamped 759.  Wood has original finish with some of the expected contact marks, includes cleaning rod. Gorgeous mirror chrome-lined bore, no import-marks. Very scarce and popular, one of the finest examples we have ever owned. PHOTO . . . $2450.    C&R     SOLD

    POLISH Model 29/40 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 6760b (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (code 660) in 1939 as a wz29(before the blitzkrieg), with a 1940-dated barrel (post German occupation).   Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better bluing and intact Nazi markings (Nazi eagle/swastikas). A bringback example with all-matching serialized parts except stock and buttplate (wood likely was duffle-cut and replaced).  Beautifully marked, with large Polish eagle and F.B. above RADOM atop chamber. The bore is excellent and mirror-bright. Buttstock is laminated with Kriegsmarine cartouche on right side. Includes cleaning-rod and locking-screws.     SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # KY2335 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944.  Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts stamped KY2335 (matching).  Undated PU scope has great optics, scope number125771 restamped on left side of barrel-shank, lower scope mount never numbered.  Stock and handguard has the inevitable scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, but is otherwise in nice shape.  This is a RGUNS import from a decade or so ago, and is not considered a put-together restoration, but the real deal.    PHOTOS . . . $1975.*    C&R     SOLD

    SOVIET Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # Fb6040 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1942. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished with 100% bluing and plum-colored bolt. Has a strong mostly bright bore, receiver is grooved for scope-mount, features 12-slotted muzzle-break. Naval AVT stock (with sling-slots instead of swivels) and handguard has some scrapes and other handling marks but none of the usual arsenal repairs.     SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # LR111 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1953.  Excellent refurbished example with 100% blue and a chromed mirror-bright bore.  All matching serial numbers, stock has been renumbered to match.     SWEDISH Model 94 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 13949 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1903 with bent bolt and lacking bayonet lug. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing on all major parts, front nose-cap has extension to increase barrel-length to 18" (required to be legal until 1986).  Has strong markings and a mirror-bright and strong bore.  All-matching serial numbers (949). Walnut stock & handguard has dents, scuffs and handling-marks from service use. White metal unit-disk set into right side of stock, smaller disc atop comb missing.     SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 49174 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1907 with bent bolt and bayonet lug.  Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing on all major parts (magazine floorplate browned from carry). Has strong markings and a mirror-bright and strong bore.  No barrel extension. All-matching visible serial numbers (174) except buttplate (101).  Beech stock & handguard is decent with some handling marks from use, missing unit disk, sling buckle, and forward sling swivel.     SWEDISH Model 96/38 bolt-action Mauser short rifle # 1021 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1898 with straight bolt and non-threaded muzzle.  Very Good or so condition, about 60% external bluing fading to gray. Has bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.52/1), all visible parts serial numbered 021 (non-numbered cleaning rod).   Rear sight has VÄSTERÅS wheel-type insert adjustable from 300 to 600 meters in 25 meter increments.     U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 895829 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1918 (high-umber) with replacement SA 7-42 barrel.  Excellent or better arsenal refurbished condition with all Parkereized finish intact.  Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 1.0, MW = 1.0).  Stock and handguard has subtle marbling in figure and looks as new with as new Kerr fabric sling.     U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # Z3925247 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in December, 1943. Excellent condition with 95% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A lovely example with near-perfect RA / 12-43 dated 2-groove bore (TE = 0.75,  MW = 0.0).  Walnut stock has some rather minor handling marks. Includes web sling and front sight hood.     U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4814258 (.30-06), receiver mfg. by Smith-Corona in April, 1943 with SC 4-43 barrel.  Excellent condition with 95% Parkerizing on all metal. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (gauges TE = 3.0, MW = 0.0).     U.S.A. Model 1917 bolt-action rifle # 626991 (.30-06) made by Eddystone in October 1918Excellent condition, with nearly full Parkerized finish remaining on all external metal. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1346164 (.30-06) mfg. by Winchester in June, 1943.  A "CMP Special Winchester" grade rifle from the Civilian Marksmanship Program (purchased back in 2016) in Excellent-PLUS condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal,  Criterion commercial barrel (dated 02/16) has a mirror-bright as-new bore (TE = 0.0, MW = 0.0) with all SA-marked parts except HRA-marked hammer.   Very attractive Boyd's walnut stock has CMP cartouche on left side and is in as-new condition.  Not import-marked, with CMP certificate of authenticityPHOTOS . . . $1525.      C&R      SOLD

Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 4830979 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Quality Hardware in mid 1944 with 11-43 dated I.B.M. barrel and all late-war features (front band with bayonet-lug, lever safety, and adjustable rear sight). Excellent-PLUS condition, metal has all original Parkerized finish, bore is excellent and mirror-bright (MW = 1.5). Rear sight obscuring manufacturer.  High-wall stock is walnut, with Augusta Arsenal cartouche on left side and correct web sling and oiler. Also includes one 15-round magazine (only where legal).
