    AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # B98135 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941. Excellent condition with most oil-blacked finish remaining. All matching serial numbers on all numbered parts, bore is quite bright and very strong. Buttstock and handguards show some handling marks from actual use, faint 1942-dated cartouches on right side.     CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # R09814 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1956. An Excellent example, has been reblued with most finish intact and a very bright strong bore. Side-folding bayonet functional. Handguard  has been painted with pickup-truck bed-liner type black textured paint (which is peeling on the top), but stock is still intact with zero cracks.     EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 40281 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1965.  Excellent condition, full original blued finish with a mirror-bright very strong bore. Beech stock has arsenal repair to left side and top of handguard but no handling marks. Includes removable 10-round magazine and very scarce correct bayonet and scabbard.  Worn leather sling is Swedish (acquired, no doubt, with the Ljungmann machinery from Carl Gustaf).  PHOTOS . . . $1050.    C&R     SOLD

    FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 34283 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka in 1930 on a scrubbed hexagonal receiver. Excellent condition, with 98% bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore (is NOT counterbored at muzzle).  Bolt-body numbered 34283 (matching).  Stock has a few circular arsenal plugs (to relieve knot-holes in the grain) and very few handling marks.     FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 66929 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka in 1933 on a rectangular receiver. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing and a somewhat bright bore (is counterbored at muzzle for increased accuracy).  Bolt-body numbered 66929 (matching) and has the early "wings" in the connector.  Stock has scars from actual use in wartime (but no cracks).     FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 84659 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka in 1938 on a rectangular receiver. Excellent condition, with 98% bluing and a mirror-bright bore (is NOT counterbored at muzzle).  Bolt-knob numbered 4659 (matching).  28/30 buttstock has few signs of handling and storage, with proper green-leather sling with oval buckle in Very Good condition.     FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 61057 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1939 on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt-knob numbered 1057 (matching).  S17122 on right side of barrel-shank (indicating the Varsinais Suomi civil guard district, now Turku).  Incredible marbled grained buttstock has the most gorgeous figure I have ever encountered on any Finn Mosin, with 1940-dated Civil Guard cartouche on right side.  Rare.     FRENCH Model 45 MAS bolt-action training rifle # F5528 (.22 LR) mfg. by St. Ettienne after 1945. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% Parkerized finish intact. Bolt also numbered 5528, bore is mirror-perfect, buttstock has zero handling marks.  Buttplate has oval containing MAS, includes front sight hood, new leather sling and two magazines.     FRENCH Model 1936-51 MAS bolt-action rifle # F43269 (7.5x54 MAS) mfg. by St. Ettienne in Late 1955. Excellent-PLUS, arsenal AS-NEW condition with full Parkerized finish on all metal and a flawless beech wood stock. Strong, mirror-bright bore, bolt matching, magazine floorplate mismatched, no other parts are numbered. Includes grenade-launcher and integral spike-bayonet. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition, with all Parkerizing intact and no signs of wear or use.     GERMAN Model 317K bolt-action Mauser single-shot training rifle # 238069 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Gustloff Werke in c.1935. Very Good condition with nearly full bluing on all metal parts. Bright (if somewhat dirty) bore with 26 3/4" barrel. Bolt numbered 069 (matching), receiver marked on top MOD 317K plus stylized "G" logo and GUSTLOFF-WERKE over WAFFEN WERKE SUHL, Left side of receiver has eagle over N (commercial German proof). Barrel marked FLUSS-STAHL KRUPP-ESSEN KAL. 22 LONG RIFLE with Eagle over N proof. Tangent sight graduated to 200 meters. European walnut stock has grasping grooves, a checkered rounded pistol grip with plastic buttplate marked BSWMissing front sling swivel, having been replaced with modern hexagonal bolt.     GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2614k (8x57) mfg. by Mauser Borsigwalde (code 243) in 1938.   An all-matching rifle in Near Excellent condition, with 80% original external blue remaining, Weimar proofs (two eagles with folded wings) on the left side of the receiver and barrel, and three very bold Nazi eagle / swastikas on right side of receiver. Has all-milled parts stamped 2614 (guaranteed original), bore is strong and mirror bright.  Laminated buttstock and handguard shows signs of normal use but no damage with a flat buttplate. All-matching 100% correct 98k's are quite rarely offered for sale and are (without a doubt) the most in-demand rifle worldwide.  Very attractive, not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $2450.   C&R   SOLD

    GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8809e (8x57) mfg. by Bystrica (code dou) in 1945. A Russian-captured rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% bluing on all parts. All numbered parts electro-penciled 8809 to match. Bore is strong and mirror bright (no wonder, being manufactured in the last few months of the war), bold eagle / swastika on left side of barrel. Includes (likely) repro cleaning rod and original action locking bolts, laminated stock and handguard has nice finish with flat blued buttplate.  PHOTO . . . $875.    C&R   SOLD

    ROMANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # GN37 (7.62x39) mfg. at Cugir in 1959. Excellent condition, with almost full remaining external blued finish. All matching serial numbers (action-cover electro-penciled to match), chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright and very strong.     SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # BI2732 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1951.   Near Excellent refurbished example with 100% blue, bore is not chromed but is mirror-bright. Only indication this has been refurbished is the blackened blade bayonet.  Shellacked laminated buttstock has original serial number on left side and in as-new condition.     SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # YUR3980 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula in 1952.  Excellent example with 100% blue and a chromed mirror-bright bore.  Does not appear to have been refurbished as the buttstock has some handling marks with scattered peeling shellac and intact vivid cartouches on left side.     SOVIET Model SKS-45 semiautomatic rifle # AV4098 (7.62x39) mfg. at Tula in 1954. Excellent condition, does not appear to be a refurb with full remaining external blued finish. All matching serial numbers (including stock), chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright and very strong.     SWISS Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 408567 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1916. All-matching numbers including magazine. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing intact on all metal parts. Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. Straight-grained walnut stock (stamped FRIBOURG, a Swiss Canton since 1481) and handguard has original finish with a few minor handling marks, arsenal-repaired crack at pistol-grip.  Includes brass and steel muzzle-cap.     U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 890263 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1919 (high number).   Very Good condition with 40% mottled bluing on all metal. A decent example with bright and strong replacement 9-18 dated RIA four-groove barrel.  Bore is mirror-bright but obviously worn (TE = 7.0, MW = 3.0).     U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 1507416 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1937 with RA 10-42 dated replacement barrel (by Remington).  Excellent condition with all external Parkerized surfaces remaining, bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (TE =1.0, ME = 1.5).  Has some very light dings on stock but has original finish and has never been sanded, bottom of pistol grip has R 54 stamp.     U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3443852 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in May, 1943. Excellent condition with 95% light-gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with perfect replacement RA / 5-44 dated 2-groove bore (TE=2.0, MW = 0.0).
