Very Good or better condition with about 70% original bluing, some pitting on top rear of slide (likely from being "holstered wet"). Bore is strong but dark, checkered walnut grips are nice. BRITISH Model New Service revolver # 145548 (.455 Webley, NOT "shaved" for .45 ACP) mfg. by Colt in 1917 with 6" barrel. Excellent overall condition, with full original bluing (very little signs of wear), some scattered small contact-marks. All matching numbers with nice COLT-logo black plastic grips and broad-arrow markings as well as British proofs including NOT ENGLISH MAKE on left side of both barrel and frame. BRITISH Mark I Webley revolver # 37992 (back of cylinder "shaved" for .45 ACP), British Army issue mfg. by Webley & Sons in circa 1892 with 4" barrel. Very Good condition, with mostly full mottled finish. All matching numbers, has distinctive "hump-backed" frame of the Mark I body and nice checkered Vulcanite birds-head grips. BRITISH Mark VI Webley revolver # 448163 (back of cylinder "shaved" for .45 ACP), Royal Irish Constabulary issue mfg. by Webley & Sons in c.1920 with 4" barrel. Excellent condition, with full bluing, front and rear of grip a bit browned from use. All matching numbers, has commercial proofs on left side (marked *450/*455) with "flying bullet" Webley logo, company address in one line on top[ if barrel next to front sight. BRITISH Webley Mark IV revolver # 138413 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Webley & Scott Ltd. in 1944. Excellent condition, with 90% or better original bluing, a few contact-marks on sides, WAR FINISH stamped on left side of frame, very "tight" action and an excellent mirror-bright bore. CANADIAN No. 2 Mk. 1* Browning High-power semiautomatic pistol # 5T3376 (9mm) mfg. at Inglis in June 1945. Military issue with fixed rear-sight. Excellent condition with all-matching numbers. 90% or better Parkerizing throughout, all matching numbers. Has been through British Factory Thorough Repair (FTR) in 1963 and stamped as such on left side of slide and frame. Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. Includes lanyard-ring, two magazines and khaki web full-flap holster (made by Zephyr Loom & Textile of Toronto) dated 1945 and stamped TPL (indicating it had been treated with an antifungal agent for use in the Pacific Theatre) on inside cover. GERMAN Langenhan 7.65 semiautomatic pistol # 2261 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Friedrich Langenham Waffen-und Fahrradfabriken, Zella Mehlis in 1914. This was a secondary German military pistol of which 86,000 were produced during WWI. Near Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing, some contact-marks on both sides. FL-logo horn grips a bit battered but sound. Bore is frosted but retains strong rifling. Not import-marked, an early commercial example. PHOTO . . . $450. C&R
GERMAN Model 1914 semiautomatic pistol # 139505 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Mauser at Oberndorf in c.1917 with German WWI acceptance-marking atop slide (in front of rear sight). All-matching numbers (and every tiny little piece except magazine is numbered), Excellent condition with full bluing, the trigger and extractor having a deep fire-blue. GERMAN Model P-38 Walther semiautomatic pistol # 580 (9mm Parabellum) mfg. at Spreewerke (Nazi code cyq) in late 1942. Excellent condition, retains over 90% blued finish with strong mirror-bright bore and very smooth functioning. All-matching numbers (magazine not numbered) with much better than usual Spreewerke finish to metal. HUNGARIAN Model 1912 Frommer Stop semiautomatic pistol # 67192 (.32 ACP), mfg. by Budapest arsenal in c. 1914 with rare German WWI acceptance-proof (crown over Gothic letter) on left side of triggerguard. Excellent condition, bluing has some slight holster-wear on sides but intact with no major flaws. All-matching numbers, bore is strong and bright. SPANISH Ruby-type semiautomatic pistol # 56271 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Alkartuna in Guernica in 1916. Near Excellent condition with 90% original bluing on frame and slide. Bore is quite bright and very strong, checkered walnut grips are intact. One of over forty firms hired to manufacture Ruby pistols during the Great War (the French bought over 700,000 Ruby pistols during and just after WWI). Action is tight and all numbers match (including magazine), circled AK on left side of frame and on magazine floorplate, rivet on left side of slide, with stars (French acceptance-marks) on bottom of grips.
