BRITISH Model Mark VI Webley break-open revolver #N742 (back of cylinder shaved for .45 ACP using half-moon clips), a commercial pistol  mfg. by Webley & Sons in c.1915. Near Excellent condition, with 85% remaining bluing, bore is very strong and bright. Arsenal renumbered N742 (was apparently numbered 446496 when in civilian use).  Totally functional and action tight when trigger is pulled. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . .  . $495.   C&R   

BRITISH Enfield No.2 Mk.1** revolver #T9216 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Enfield  in 1942. Near Excellent condition, with 90% original "stoving" intact (some minor chipping), very "tight" action and a very strong bright bore. All-matching numbers, an exceptional example with black-plastic grips (with "unit-disc" on right side) and a "ribbed" backstrap. Lacks lanyar-ring. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $250. C&R    SOLD

CZECH Model CZ-24 semiautomatic pistol #160148 (.380 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice in 1937 .  Very Good condition with mismatched slide and about 50% original bluing. Bore is strong and bright, markings are very sharp, and dark-brown bakelite grips are chipped only slightly on the bottom.  Magazine has body only, but no internals or bottom (any P-27 magazine will function).  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $275.   C&R 

CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #205135 (.32 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice in c.1942.  Excellent condition with 95% original bluing and much golden hue on trigger and hammer. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, markings are very sharp (including Nazi WaffenAmpt) and dark-brown CZ-logo bakelite grips are un-chipped.  Magazine marked P Mod 27 with floorplate a little bent but does not affect function. CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #484822 (.32 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice in 1945 (immediate postwar production, 45 stamped on left of frame) .  Excellent condition with 95% original bluing and much golden hue on trigger and hammer. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, fnh markings are very sharp, and dark-brown bakelite grips are chipped only slightly (about 1/8") on the right- bottom.  Magazine marked P Mod 27 with floorplate a little bent but does not affect function. FINN Model L-35 Lahti semiautomatic pistol #6515 (9mm) mfg. by Valmet in late 1945.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% bluing (minor rubbing on back of grip). Excellent, mirror-perfect with reddish bakelite grips having VKT emblem.  Includes three magazines. This is the third variation with the loaded-chamber indicator and VALMET marking atop slide.  Not import-marked, rare.   PHOTOS . . . $1275.  C&R   SOLD

FRENCH Model 1950 MAC semiautomatic pistol #B4383 (9mm),  mfg. by Chatellerault arsenal in 1951. Very Good condition, with much of the external bluing worn to brown but no major flaws. All-matching numbers, bore is strong but not extremely bright. This was the official sidearm of the French Army throughout the 1950's and is quite rare in the U.S. (nearly all examples here are bringbacks from Vietnam).  Right side of slide stamped FRANCE, otherwise not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $450.  C&R   SOLD

GERMAN Model 1920 semiautomatic pistol #5663 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Stock in c.1921.  Very Good condition, retains over 80% original bluing with excellent bright bore. GERMAN Model PP Walther semiautomatic pistol #320557P (.32 ACP) mfg. at Mauser in c.1942.  Excellent condition, retains over 98% bluing with strong and bright bore, frame and barrel retains plum-hue from high nickel-content in the steel. GERMAN Model PPK Walther semiautomatic pistol #315556K (.32 ACP) mfg. at Mauser in c.1942.  Excellent condition, retains over 98% bluing with high-polish finish to metal and excellent mirror-bright bore, slight specking on left side of slide from being "holstered wet". Swastikas on right side of barrel and slide and police marking (eagle over C) on left side of frame very bold.  Original mottled-brown plastic grips LITTLE MAC lightly scratched on right grip (likely by soldier who brought it back from WWII). GERMAN  Model P-35 Radom VIS  semiautomatic pistol #K486 (9mm Parabellum)  mfg. at Radom in c.1944 Nazi Type III variation with no slot or takedown lever. Excellent, 95% full original bluing (much better than usual finish for this period), some patches of roughness on right side of slide and frame from being "holstered wet".  Really beautiful mirror-bore, all-matching numbers with sharp un-chipped black bakelite grips. EAST GERMAN  Model 59 Makarov semiautomatic pistol #AT2254 (9x18 Makarov)  mfg. at Suhl by Ernst Thälmann in 1961 Excellent condition with 95% full original bluing and a decent high-polish finish with some minor handling and holster marks.  Bore is excellent and mirror-bright. LSA marking (Landespolizei Sachsen-Anhalt) on left side of frame (under slide-release) X-ed out, indicating it had been pressed into service in 1990 after the fall of the wall. HUNGARIAN Model 37M Frommer semiautomatic pistol #122051 (.380 ACP),  mfg. by Femaru Fegever circa 1938. Excellent  condition, 95% bluing with some minor wear at corners and edges, spots on right side of slide from being "holstered wet".  Bore excellent and mirror-bright.  This was the official sidearm of the Hungarian Army throughout the later 1930's and was a favorite weapon of the German Luftwaffe after Nazi occupation. JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, Series 2, #11821 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Nambu / Chuo Kogyo in January, 1944  (Showa 19.1) with large trigger-guard. SPANISH Model Ruby semiautomatic pistol #11836 (.32 ACP) mfg. by unknown subcontractor in c.1915 with short (6-round) magazine and straight slide-serrations. Excellent condition with 90% original bluing, some minor wear at corners and edges. All-markings are clear, bore is mirror-like and very strong with little evidence of use, grips are bakelite with CASI logo, right grip chipped at top. Magazine appears roughly finished and "tweaked". RIFLES

AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull long-rifle #8664R (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917.  Excellent condition, as arsenal-refinished with 95% or more bluing and sharp mirror-bright bore. All matching numbers (# on buttstock restamped to match, bolt has electropenciled number), buttstock appears to be made of ash with thick grain while handguard is of a lighter-colored beech, both have a few dings and handling-marks. Not import-marked, a decent example of this far from common infantry rifle.  PHOTOS . . . $350. C&R  SOLD

CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action long rifle #K253 (7x57) mfg. by DWM in c.1901.  Very Good condition with 60% bluing (mostly worn off barrel but mostly intact on receiver) with matching bolt-body and trigger-guard (other parts do not match). Bore is a bit frosty but has sharp lands & grooves. Sharp detailed Chilean crest above chamber. Walnut stock has original finish with razor-sharp 1895-dated cartouche but also considerable dings and other handling-marks (but no cracks). PHOTOS . . . $195.   C&R 

CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle #K62868 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1955. A nice example which has been refinished with textured-black spray-paint.  Near excellent, with truly exceptional bore.  PHOTOS . . . $250. C&R  SOLD

FINN Model 39 bolt-action Mosin-Nagant rifle  #304912 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by SAKO in 1970 with 1934 dated Izhevsk receiver.  Excellent-plus condition with 99% bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Matching bolt-knob, decent buttstock with only a few of the usual handling-marks, several round plugs and two repaired areas on left side of buttstock (hardly noticeable). INDIAN No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # 911E (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore Arms Factory in 1939. Very Good condition with strong, bright bore. Bolt and rear-sight not matching, but buttstock and nosecap do match receiver. Includes magazine cut-off and rare windage-adjustable rear sight. Wood has been arsenal reworked and has quite a few handling-marks, both front and rear handguards have arsenal-repaired cracks.  Brass stock-disc marked K.A. / 9.40 / 42QNot import-marked. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Truppi Speciale carbine #E4304 (6.5x52) mfg. by Beretta in 1941 (year XIX of Mussolini).   Near Excellent condition with 90% full bluing and an excellent, mirror-bright bore.  Bent-bolt not numbered (as usual), stock number matches receiver. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Truppi Speciale carbine #2057 (8x57) mfg. by Brescia in c.1943 (undated).   Near Excellent with nearly full bluing on receiver (turned to plum on triggerguard and barrel-bands) and excellent, mirror-bright bore.  Bent-bolt not numbered (as usual) and stock number matches receiver. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Cavalry carbine with attached folding-bayonet #9708 (8x57) mfg. by Brescia in c.1943 (undated). Excellent condition with 95+% full bluing and an excellent, mirror-bright bore.  Bent-bolt is S-marked, stock number matches receiver. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka "last ditch" bolt-action rifle, Series 11 #58128 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in early 1945. Very Good condition with much original bluing, bolt and all bolt-parts #091, mum ground but partially showing. This type has wooden buttplate, fixed rear sight, stamped and welded barrel-bands, no provision for cleaning-rod, cylindrical bolt handle, grooved safety, short handguard and separate forestock trapped by front & rear barrel-bands. Receiver is machined for dust-cover. Surprisingly excellent shiny bore, original unsanded finish on wood with very few handling-marks, includes leater sling (non-Japanese).  Not import-marked. RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action SNIPER rifle #AT1820 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Izhevsk in 1942.  Arsenal refurbished to as-new condition with 100% bluing on metal and reddish shellac on wood, a few scrapes in finish. All-matching stamped numbers (prefix-letters only on receiver), bore is neat-perfect and mirror-bright.  Scope is 1942-dated SVT-40 type with serial # A20269, left side of barrel-shank stamped A11684 so scope does not match (but is, however, correct on this rifle).  Includes leather muzzle-caps and canvas scope-cover as well as cleaning-rod, web-sling, ammo-pouch and cleaning-kit. . . $625.  C&R  SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle #56824 (6.5x55), mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1900.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing (wear only at sharp edges) and an excellent mirror-bore (bore-disc indicating 6.49/1).  All-matching numbers (unnumbered cleaning-rod).  Walnut stock has subtle tigerstripe figure, some handling-marks and compressions on wood but still quite attractive. . . $275.  C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle #479728 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1919. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing, excellent mirror-bore with 6.50/2 bore-disk.  All-matching numbers (cleaning-rod not numbered), receiver-markings weak. Back of receiver drilled & tapped diagonally for target rear-sight.  Beech stock and handguard, only a few minor handling and storage marks on wood, yellow range-plate shellacked to right side. . . $250.  C&R  

SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle #27983 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1945. Excellent condition, with 90% bluing (some wear on top cover and at sharp edges).  Bore is near pristine and mirror-bright (disk reads 6.49/2). Stock seems to retain its original finish with some of the expected handling-marks and dings. Includes cleaning-rod and sling. PHOTOS  . . . $675.   C&R   

U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle #4681343 (.30-06) mfg. by Harrington & Richardson (H&R) in late November, 1953 with original HRA barrel dated 10/53.  Near excellent condition with 90% uniformly dark-gray Parkerizing on all metal parts (wear apparent only on corners and sharp edges), a mirror-perfect bore, and a bright chamber. It has proper HRA bolt, SA replacement op-rod, and proper HRA trigger-housing with a dash 9 SA hammer and stamped triggerguard. Stock and handguards are apparently newly-made streaked walnut with really nice figure and only one small compression-mark. Had just been tech-inspected by Fulton Armory, and metal is very tightly bedded to stock A really beautiful example. VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #1581 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in c.1953.   Excellent condition, with 90% original painted finish (stoving) and mirror-perfect bore. All-matching numbers, Venezuelan crest on receiver is extremely bold and beautiful, with slotted muzzle-break.  Lovely streaked-walnut stock has some minor handling-marks, includes leather Type 1907 sling.
