BELGIAN Model 1908 Bayard semiautomatic pistol # 32538 (.25 ACP),  mfg. by Pieper circa 1920. Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing, Belgian postwar proofs on right side.  Bore excellent and mirror-bright, all matching-numbers.  This was the smallest pistol ever officially adopted by any army, and were issued by Belgium both during and after WWI.  Nice black-rubber grips marked BAYARD, see Adamek, "Pistols of World War I", page 110. BRAZILIAN Model 1937 revolver # 192230 (.45 ACP) with 5" barrel, manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1937. Excellent condition with 98% or better Parkerized finish and a strong mostly-bright bore. Bold Brazilian crest on left side of frame. Not import-marked, missing lanyard-loop with nice smooth aftermarket exotic-wood grips.  PHOTOS . . . $675.     C&R    

BRITISH Model No.2 Mk.1** .38 revolver # C5016 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Albion Motors in early 1943 with non-serrated backstrap and 5" barrel, double-action only without hammer-spur.  Near Excellent overall with all matching numbers except barrel (a 1943-dated barrel # Q9317), 95% Phosphate finish on metal.  Looks like reproduction black bakelite thumb-rest grips. BRITISH Enfield No.2 Mk.1* revolver # P8781 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Enfield  in 1941. Very Good condition, with most original "oil-blacked" finish remaining (16 painted in white on each side). All matching numbers except barrel (a 1940-dated barrel # L441), very "tight" action and an near excellent, mostly-bright bore. Walnut grips (with both "ears" intact). CANADIAN No. 2 Mk. 1* Browning High-power semiautomatic pistol # 2T9944 (9mm) mfg. at Inglis in c.1948.  Military issue with fixed rear-sight. Excellent condition with all-matching numbers.  Full Parkerizing throughout, all matching numbers with strong Canadian military markings, 2  74 on front-strap. CHINESE Model C96 Broomhandle semiautomatic Mauser pistol # 8299 (7.63mm), mfg. at Hangyang Munition Works in 1926. Good condition, virtually zero bluing remaining but virtually no pitting. Six Chinese characters on the right side of the frame. Functional, with a little remaining rifling in the bore, all external matching numbers except hammer. PHOTO. . . $450.   C&R    SOLD

FINN Model P-08 Luger semiautomatic pistol # 4646s (9mm)  mfg. in 1920's & 1930's by DWM (Berlin). Excellent condition with very little wear and a near-perfect mirror bore. 4 3/4" Tikka-marked barrel with Finn front-sights, DWM in script on top of toggle, [SA] Finn property-marking on left side of slide. Checkered black-plastic grips with Finn military arsenal-tag still attached. Includes one black-plastic bottomed magazine. PHOTOS . . . $1250.    SOLD

FINN Model L-35 Lahti semiautomatic pistol # 1612 (9mm) mfg. by Valmet in 1945.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing. Excellent, mirror-perfect bore with reddish bakelite grips having VKT emblem.  Includes one magazine. FRENCH Model PA-15 MAB semiautomatic pistol # 552541 (9mm), mfg. at Bayonne in the 1970's.   Excellent condition with about 96% original bluing with a plum-hued slide. The bore is excellent and very shiny. All matching-numbers, black-plastic grips, with 15-round magazine. RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant 7-shot revolver # 25689 (7.62x38R Nagant), mfg. by Tula in 1905. Good condition with all-matching numbers, an original non- rearsenaled example that has seen quite a lot of use, bore has some pitting as can be expected but is functional and will shoot better than it looks. U.S.A. Model 1907 self-loading pistol (.32 ACP) manufactured by Savage Arms Co. in c.1915.  A nickeled example in Very Good or better condition, with all finish intact and extremely attractive. ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # S5253 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1899.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% strong bluing. Scrubbed crest (as usual) with vivid fire-bluing on small parts, all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), bore is strong and mirror bright. BRAZILIAN Model 30 M954 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 4352 (.30-06) mfg. by Itajuba in c.1954.  Very Good overall condition with 80% bluing (many parts browned from actual use). No matching parts. Bore is very rough with strong rifling. Very bold and detailed Brazilian crest above chamber. Walnut buttstock and handguard with many dings and handling-marks (crack at rear of handguard). CHILEAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action Carbinero carbine # 6785 (7x57mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1935. Very Good condition, with 70% bluing, strong mostly-bright bore and all-matching numbers.  This has turned-down bolt with carbine rear-sight, strong crest above chamber. Wood has a few dings from normal handling, but nothing major and was possibly lightly sanded long ago (1935-dated cartouche on left side of stock is faint but readable). FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 86497 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1940 by Tikka on a 1916-dated Tula receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% original bluing. Bolt-knob matching, bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod and M27 muzzle-protector. FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # S898611 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by S.I.G. (marked below wood-line) in 1928 on a 1909-dated Sestroryetsk receiver. Near Excellent  condition with 80% original bluing. Bolt is numbered 611. Bore is a bit weak but quite bright, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 58714 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1944 by Tikka on a scrubbed hex receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% original bluing. Bolt-knob matching, bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece stock has only a few minor handling-marks and scratches with crossed-cannon cartouche. FRENCH Model 1916 Berthier bolt-action mousquetoon # A6083 (8x50R) arsenaled to the M-16 configuration by St. Ettienne in 1920 with a 1918-dated Chatellerault barrel and N-marked chamber. FRENCH Model 1949/56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G84451 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1972. Excellent-PLUS condition, rifle is still in arsenal poly-bag (slit open so the rifle could be import-marked). Includes FOUR 10-round magazines, rubber buttplate, night-sights with cloth bag and new sling (all sealed in arsenal poly bag). GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action 8mm rifle # K6672 having DEATH-HEAD marking (SS2 above) on left barrel-shank, originally a Gewehr 98 rifle manufactured at DANZIG in 1902 with later Radom refurb mark (FB in inverted triangle) atop receiver.  A restored Russian-capture in excellent condition, small parts and laminated stock have been renumbered to match receiver (not original). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes original muzzle-cap, cleaning rod and sling, import-marked TG KNOX TN 98K 8MM GERMANY on bottom of barrel. Authenticity of SS markings guaranteed. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action 8mm low-turret SNIPER rifle # 6186k (8mm) manufactured by Sauer & Son.  A restored sniper rifle in excellent condition, small parts and laminated stock have been renumbered to match receiver (not original). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes original muzzle-cap, cleaning rod and sling. Has original ZEISS Zielvier 4x sniper scope with excellent optics (small dent in top of scope body does not affect lenses or optics at all).  Mounts are likely reproductions. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action training rifle # 0066278 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1920. Excellent condition with full original bluing, mum X-ed out.  All parts mismatched. This type has ladder v-type rear-sight.  Bore is quite decent and bright with strong rifling, wood was lightly sanded long ago with a few handling-marks since (small crack on left side of stock). JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 6 # 6943 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1943. Excellent condition with full original bluing, all-matching numbers, ground mum.  This type has ladder peep-sight lacking its aircraft wings, includes cleaning-rod but lacking action-cover and monopod. Excellent chrome-lined mirror bore, wood has been sanded and refinished with virtually no handling-marks since, no import-marks. PHOTO . . . $250. C&R    SOLD

MEXICAN Model 1897 Rolling-block single-shot rifle (7x57), mfg. by Remington Arms in c.1900.  Good condition, with all metal browned from age and actual use. No serial number or other markings, bore is frosted but has very strong rifling. Full military configuration, lacking cleaning-rod (as usual). Stock and handguard has the expected handling-marks. PERSIAN Model 98/29 Mauser bolt-action rifle # C07330 (8x57), mfg. by Brno in 1931 (A.H. 1309).  New, literally UNISSUED condition, with 100% bluing, action-bolts have flawless "straw" coloring. Has perfect mirror-bright bore and all-matching numbers, all markings clean with a magnificent lion-crest above chamber. Gorgeous Streaked Walnut stock has lovely original antique-furniture type finish with virtually no handling-marks and only a couple small dings on bottom of stock.  PHOTOS . . . $750.  C&R  

PORTUGUESE  Model 904/39  Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle # H1694 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904.   Near Excellent condition with all-matching numbers and bold royal crest above chamber.  Original (browning) finish with a nice mirror-bright bore. Wood has arsenal-repair at toe and two small hairline cracks at sides of grip. No cleaning-rod.  Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, these rifles were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII.  PHOTOS . . . $225.    C&R    SOLD to W.H.

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle (7.62x54R), mfg. at IZHEVSK with round receiver just prior to and during WWII,  An arsenal-refurbished rifle in EXCELLENT PLUS condition, with 99% bluing and all-matching numbers (numbers on bolt and small parts electropenciled to match receiver). RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # MK180 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1941.  Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with a nice and strong mostly-bright bore. Numbers all matching except magazine and triggerguard, receiver *NOT* grooved for scope-mount, features 12-slotted muzzle-break. RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # 3E3505 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1954.   UNISSUED, a 100% arsenal-refurbished example with 100% blue (blade-bayonet hard-chromed, both bolt and bolt-carrier blued), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Shellaced laminated buttstock with numbers matching everywhere (no cross-outs or line-throughs).  Wood has a couple minor handling-marks. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 180014 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1906 with straight-bolt.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  All-matching numbers except firing-pin and bolt shroud (both numbered 104 instead of 014), buttplate (471) and cleaning-rod (753). Walnut stock & handguard seems to have its original finish, with only a few handling-marks and scratches, missing bore-disk and shield-shaped placque that was inlet in stock below it on the right side of stock. SWISS Model 96/11 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 247622 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1899. All-matching numbers including magazine.  Very Good condition with much faded original bluing (some wear from carry on magazine-floorplate) and a near-perfect mirror-bore.  Walnut stock and handguard appears to have original finish with some of the expected handling-marks, top of stock (near buttplate) stamped GRAUBUNDEN (one of the Swiss cantons).  Not import-marked, includes muzzle-cover.  PHOTO  . . . $395. SWISS Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 428605 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1917. Very Good condition with full original bluing on top metal (freckling on right side), most bluing faded and/or browned on triggerguard, magazine-floorplate and barrel-bands from carry and actual use.
