    AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry long rifle # 986G (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917. An infantry rifle in Good to Very Good original condition with little remaining bluing with matching buttstock (bolt not numbered). Bore is a bit rough, wood has a few dings, scratches and other handling-marks with interesting "trench art" carved into right side. Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $375.     C&R

    CHINESE Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # P1553 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1937 (Chinese contract). Excellent condition, with full bluing on external metal. All matching serial numbers (including stock), bore is mirror-bright and literally looks as new. Includes cleaning rod, some marks to front band from improper removal. Nice walnut stock has original finish with a few dings and gouges from handling but is otherwise as new and extremely attractive. Not import marked, these usually look like crap, very scarce so nice.     CHINESE Type 53 Mosin Nagant carbine # B8985 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Factory 26 in 1960.  Very Good or so "bringback" condition with all matching serial numbers. Most original bluing on the external metal intact, some encrustations and verdigris present. Bore is dark and crusty, stock has some handling marks but is sound.     DANISH Model 89 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action infantry rifle # 34513 (8x58R mm) mfg. in Copenhagen in 1893. Excellent condition with all-matching serial numbers and a very strong shiny bore. STock may have been sanded long ago (with no handling-marks since), brass unit-disk intact on right side. Not import-marked, and worthy of the finest collection.     FINN Model 1891 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 36681 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Fabrique National in 1942 with round receiver. Excellent condition, with full bluing remaining and very strong markings. Bolt-body stamped 36681. Bore is very bright with strong rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle).     FINN Model P-27 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 16854 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. at Finn arsenal AV1 in 1927. Very Good condition, with most external metal having chipping black enamel. Bolt body weakly stamped 16854. Bore is strong but not too bright and lightly counterbored at muzzle. Finn one-piece stock has 1895-dated Russian cartouche on right side, front swivel does not have slot. Wood has quite a few handling marks from actual combat use. Includes cleaning rod. Scarce.     FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 208859 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1941 with PUOLUSTUSLAITOS and [SA] Finn marking on barrel-shank. Excellent condition with 95% or better bluing remaining. Bolt-knob stamped 8859, magazine floorplate not matching, buttplate scrubbed. Bore is awesome and mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Finn two-piece pistol-grip stock has original finish with a few scuffs and dings and very deeply struck SAKO wheel cartouche.     FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 302387 (7.62x54R), no maker, no date on barrel, receiver made by Tula in 1896. Very Good condition, with thin bluing a bit worn on edges and corners, very strong markings. Bolt-knob stamped 2387, magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed. Bore is very bright with strong rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Finn two-piece podtwar stock (squared finger-joints) has a couple dents and dings from handling but is sound with one round plug on right side. Includes cleaning rod. Quite rare.     FINN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # KE1925 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Izhevsk in 1941 and [SA] (Finnish capture) marked on left side of receiver. Very Good original condition with a strong mostly bright bore. No matching numbers, receiver is grooved for scope-mount, features 12-slotted muzzle-break. Stock and handguard have considerable handling marks from actual use but retains its original finish with no wood repairs. Includes cleaning-rod and 10-round magazine. Not import marked.     GERMAN Model K43 semiautomatic rifle # 9471p (8mm) mfg. by Walther (code ac) in 1944. Very Good condition, with mismatched parts. Has mostly bright and very strong bore. 75% original blued finish, scope-rail intact, bolt-carrier has disassembly-latch. Includes Nazi leather sling but lacks front sight-hood and cleaning-rod with correct K43-marked magazine (gcb-code). Laminated stock is a bit banged up with hairline crack on  right side in front of scope mount, R deeply stamped on right side. Not import-marked, would make a great "shooter" or representative example for a collection. PHOTO . . . $2450.    C&R

    SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # PYOO753 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula in 1950. A 98% arsenal-refurbished example with nearly full blue (blade-bayonet hard-chromed), chrome-plated bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect. Shellacked laminated buttstock with numbers matching everywhere (including stock). Wood has a couple minor handling-marks. Includes cleaning-kit in butt-trap and correct sling.     SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 651695 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent bolt and threaded muzzle. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing on all metal parts and little apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/3). All matching numbers (bolt-shroud and striker has electro-penciled numbers), barrel bands and magazine floorplate stamped with crooked crown. Beech stock & handguard has several heavy dings and knocks but is otherwise sound. Has T-marked rear sight. PHOTOS . . . $450.    C&R    SOLD

    SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 674626 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1943 with bent bolt and unthreaded muzzle. Near Excellent condition, with 85% or better slightly mottled (turning brown) bluing on all metal parts and little apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore. Has brass unit disk  stamped LV1 / No.6722 instead of bore disk. All matching numbers (bolt-shroud and striker not numbered), barrel bands and magazine floorplate stamped with crooked crown. Beech stock & handguard has a few scratches and dings but is quite nice for these. Has T-marked rear sight. Not import-marked (scarce thus). PHOTOS . . . $525.    C&R    SOLD

    SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 20315 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943. Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing. Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.48/2 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with a few of the usual handling-marks and an insignificant crack at front of handguard.     SWISS Model 1869/71 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 80282 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by S.I.G. in c.1873. Near Excellent condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). All original bluing is a bit crusty and much of it turning brown. Bore is mirror bright with very strong rifling. Wood is walnut with its original finish (cartouches clear) having the usual handling-marks and dings and some staining adjacent to buttplate. Includes cleaning-rod and original leather sling.     U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 295704 (.30-06) mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in 1919 with high-number receiver and replacement Sedgely barrel (S in circle on right barrel flat). Near Excellent condition with 85% bluing on metal (some wear at bottom of magazine floorplate from carry). Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 503488 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1942 with SA 11-52 barrel. Excellent condition with mostly full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an excellent bore (TE = 3.5, ME = 2.0). A service-grade CMP Garand with Winchester bolt and HRA op-rod, nice walnut buttstock and handguards with faint ordinance cartouche. Not import-marked, extremely attractive with CMP certificate.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2550960 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in February 1944 with SA 1-52 barrel. Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an excellent bore (TE = 3.5, ME = 2.75). A wartime Garand that was rebuilt, re-barreled and upgraded parts added post-war. Nice unmarked walnut stock and handguards. Not import-marked, with CMP certificate.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5609436 (.30-06) mfg. by Harrington & Richardson in mid 1955 with a HRA 4-55 barrel. Excellent condition and all-correct as issued with all HRA parts and full uniform Parkerized finish on all metal. Bore is excellent (TE = 2.5, ME = 2.25). Walnut buttstock (with clear ordinance cartouche) and handguards and all-correct as it left the factory. Some scratches and  an initial or two scratched into the stock.
