BRITISH Pattern 14 bolt-action rifle # 20332 (.303 British) mfg. by Remington in 1916. Very Good condition, a nice example with most Parkerizing intact and has a mirror-bright and strong bore. Number stamped on bottom of bolt handle does not match receiver. Has original walnut stock with a field-repair on the right side and some of the expected handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $425. C&R SOLD
BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1/3 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # 51C3154 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Savage-Stevens in 1944 and upgraded to the No.4 Mk.2 standards by Fazakerly in 1951. Near Excellent, with over 90% military stoving (black lacquer finish), all-matching numbers, and a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore. U.S. PROPERTY on left receiver-rail. Number 1-marked bolt-head, lovely birch stock and handguards with some dings and scratches from actual use (but still quite lovely), arsenal repair at heel. A rearsenaled rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition with 100+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore. East German ownership stamp (1 in triangle) atop receiver. Very scarce. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 42147 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1892 with Finnish [SA] property-marks on left side of barrel-shank. Excellent condition with 95+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright very strong bore (counterbored at muzzle), Czarist eagles intact on both barrel-shank and top flat of receiver. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action Mauser rifle # 5179 (8mm), originally a Gewehr 98 rifle manufactured at SIMSON & Co., Suhl in 1925, reconfigured to 98k configuration with bent-bolt. A Russian-capture in Near Excellent condition, small parts electropenciled to match receiver, stock stamped 5179 by the Russians on left side. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, receiver and barrel-shank has some very light porosity. Stock is solid walnut with many handling-marks. Import-marked TG KNOX TN 98K 8MM GERMANY on bottom of barrel. Most likely a SS rifle, but no SS markings. PHOTOS . . . $500. C&R
GERMAN Model G.29/40 bolt-action rifle # 9045 (8mm), mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (factory code 660) in 1940. A rearsenaled Russian-capture in excellent condition, with 100% bluing, all smaller parts electropenciled to match receiver, with an attractive laminated stock with flat buttplate and stamped front band. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 4 # 65277 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1942. Excellent condition with full original bluing, all-matching numbers, ground mum. This type has ladder peep-sight lacking its aircraft wings, includes repro cleaning-rod but lacking action-cover and monopod. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 349773 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1915 with straight-bolt. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/2). All-matching numbers except cleaning-rod (574).
