AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry rifle # 7763I (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1918.  A long rifle in Very Good condition with 80% or better bluing with matching parts that headspace correctly. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1/2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # FA28464A (.303 British) which was subjected to a Factory Thorough Repair (FTR) und upgraded to the Mark 2 configuration by Fazakerly in  1956. Excellent PLUS condition, with full military "stoving" (black painted finish).  Essentially unissued, all-matching numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 0-marked bolt-head. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF216844 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in July, 1950. Excellent condition, with mostly full military "stoving" (black painted finish).  Very little actual wear, all-matching numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 1-marked bolt-head. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF335205 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in December, 1954. Excellent PLUS condition, with full military "stoving" (black painted finish).  Essentially unissued, all-matching numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 2-marked bolt-head. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # K7802 (7x57) mfg. by DWM in 1899.  Very Good condition, with 70% original bluing (much of it turning brown) with no bluing remaining on barrel or bands. Chilean crest above chamber is very strong and clear.  All-matching numbers.  Bore is strong and bright.  Lovely fiddleback walnut stock having 1898-dated Chilean cartouche, some dings, compressions and handling-marks in the wood from contact with adjacent rifles but has not been sanded.  PHOTOS . . . $275.    C&R   SOLD

CHILEAN Model 1912 Mauser bolt-action long rifle # A5339 (7x57) mfg. by Steyr in 1912.  Excellent condition with 95% bluing (receiver in the white, barrel-bands and triggerguard shows minor wear), bolt numbered A6800. CHINESE Model "Hangyang" Mauser bolt-action rifle # F5220 (8mm), a copy of the German Gewher 88 mfg. by Chinese State Arsenal in c.1920.  Very Good condition, with quite a lot of original finish (receiver in the white, as is proper). CHINESE Model "Chaing Kai-Shek" Mauser bolt-action short- rifle # F5678 (8mm) mfg. by Chinese State Arsenal in c.1936.  Good condition, with quite a lot of original finish and some light rust at wood-line. CZECH Model vz23 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # R1704 (8x57) mfg. by CZ in 1924.  A restored and refinished rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition with curved factory address atop chamber. The bore strong and bright, all-matching numbers (the bolt may have been numbered to match). Includes cleaning-rod and leather sling. Buttstock and handguard have very few handling-marks. DUTCH Model 1871/88 Beaumont-Vitali rifle # S311 (11x52R) mfg. by P. Stevens, Maastricht in 1877. Very Good condition, with an excellent, mirror bright strong rifled bore. External metal was "in the white" and has mostly turned brown and shows some wear from actual use, wood retains original finish with awesome cartouche of crowned W (for King William III, reigned 1849-1890) MAASTRICHT above and date 1877 at sides. All-matching numbers (311), barrel and buttplate renumbered 903 in 1890 when Vitali magazine was added. Mechanically sound (including the magazine-disconnect), includes cleaning-rod. I would not hesitate to shoot it this rifle if I had any ammo at all (.43 Egyptian ammo can be safely used if no Beaumont ammo can be found). DUTCH Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action carbine # 6768B (6.5x53R) mfg. by Hembrug in 1919. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing.  Matching bolt with handle turned-down, bore is strong and mirror-bright. Stock is walnut in near excellent condition with only a few handling-marks and bold HEMBRUG 1920-dated cartouche on right side as well as small brass-plate.  Not import-marked, a much nicer example than is usually encountered. EGYPTIAN "Rasheed" semiautomatic carbine # 2986 (7.62x39), mfg. at Maadi  in 1967. Excellent condition, with 95% external bluing and a mirror chrome-line bore. Excellent stock has been nicely refinished. PHOTOS . . . $675.  C&R   

FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 24911 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1928 by Tikka. Good condition with very little original bluing. Bolt-body matching, bore is strong and mostly bright, no cleaning-rod. One-piece stock has been refinished with only a few minor handling-marks and scratches since, inlet for stock-disc (which is missing) on right side. PHOTOS . . . $375.   C&R    SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 41388 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Belgium in 1942. Excellent-PLUS (literally UNISSUED) condition with 99+% bluing on all metal parts (barrel of a "plum" hue) and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching. Includes cleaning-rod. New-looking two-piece Finn stock (squared finger-joints) with none of the usual circular plugs and only a few minor scuff and handling-marks. . . $375.      C&R 

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 305614 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1970. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright very strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching or scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod. FRENCH Model 1907-15 Berthier bolt-action infantry rifle # A66522 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Delaunay Belleville in 1917.  Very Good condition, N-marked chamber, bore is quite bright and strong, quite a few handling-marks on stock but has original finish. Very Good original condition with 80% blued finish on all metal and a nice wood stock that has a couple holes drilled near top of buttplate. GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 596b (8x57) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1918 with Turkish quarter-moon stamped at top of receiver. Very Good condition, with 80% bluing. Bolt (and all bolt-parts) numbered 2659f.  Excellent mirror-bright bore, no cleaning-rod. Buttstock and handguard are fiddleback walnut with an interesting square arsenal-repair to right side. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action 8mm rifle # 8673 having DEATH-HEAD marking (01 above) on left barrel-shank, originally a Gewehr 98 rifle with markings atop receiver scrubbed (as usual).  A Russian-capture in excellent condition, small parts electropenciled to match receiver by the Russians. Barrel manufactured by GECO in 1938, with commercial eagle/N and inverted heart at bottom of barrel-shank (MARKINGS), bore is excellent and mirror-bright, import-marked TG KNOX TN 98K 8MM GERMANY on bottom of barrel. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action 8mm rifle # 5190a having DEATH-HEAD marking (SS2 above) on left side of barrel-shank, manufactured by Berliner-Lübecker Maschininfabrik (code duv 41) in 1941. A Russian-capture in excellent condition, small parts electropenciled to match receiver by the Russians. Barrel has commercial eagle/N. eagle/J and inverted heart at bottom of barrel-shank as well as date of May 1943 (MARKINGS), three eagle/214 markings as well as eagle/N on right side of receiver.  Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, import-marked TG KNOX TN 98K 8MM GERMANY on bottom of barrel. PORTUGUESE Model 1886 Kropatschek bolt-action infantry rifle # GG660 (8x60R Kropatschek) mfg. by Steyr in 1886.  Very Good condition with gorgeous near-perfect bore. Metal has full bluing, bolt (and all bolt parts) mismatched. Completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original cleaning-rod. Wood has original finish and has never been sanded, with bold 1886-dated Steyr cartouche, some of the inevitable handling-marks acquired over the past 121 years, includes leather sling. RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # XI1770 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Izhevsk in 1941.  An original non-refurbished SVT-40 without any [SA] Finn marking, bolt is "in the white". Very Good condition, numbers all matching except magazine, receiver grooved for scope-mount, features 12-slotted muzzle-break. Bore is strong but not very bright. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 12575 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1899 with straight-bolt.  Excellent condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.52/3).  All-matching numbers (firing-pin is a replacement that has been numbered to match). Walnut stock & handguard seems to have its original finish, with only a few handling-marks and compressions. SWISS Model 1878 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 189221 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in c.1879. Excellent condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). All original blued finish essentially nearly as nice as these ever get. Bore is mirror-bright with very strong rifling. Wood is walnut with its original finish (cartouches clear) having only a few minor handling-marks and dings. Lacks cleaning-rod.
