ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action engineer's carbine # B8067 (7.65x53) mfg. by D.W.M. in 1899. Very Good condition, with 75% strong bluing. Weak but clear national crest, no matching serial numbers, bore is strong and mostly bright. Original walnut stock has many handling-marks. Not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $450.   C&R     SOLD

ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # G1381 (7.65x54) mfg. by DWM in 1910.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing on all parts (receiver in the white as it should be).  National Crest above chamber very bold, all-matching serial numbers (including cleaning rod and buttstock).  Bore is very strong and mirror-bright. ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # C0778 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1910. Near Excellent original condition, with 80% bluing on most parts, receiver in the white (as is proper). Argentine crest above chamber clear. All matching serial numbers on all parts except buttstock, has mostly bright and strong bore. CHILEAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action Carbinero carbine # 559 (7x57mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1935. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing (less on barrel-band and barrel from exposure to sweaty hands), very strong mirror-bright bore and all-matching serial numbers. This has turned-down bolt with carbine rear-sight, strong crest above chamber and Mauser banner on rear of receiver. Wood has a few dings from normal handling, but nothing major and has original finish (1935-dated cartouche on left side of stock is quite bold and crisp). Includes cleaning-rod and rear sling-swivel. SPANISH Model 1893 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 4121  (7x57mm) made by Loewe in 189? (date unclear, but Loewe was absorbed by Mauser and the name changed to DWM in Oct. 1897). Very Good or better condition, with 80% or better original blued finish.  Weak Spanish crest with BERLIN 189_ above chamber. All matching serial numbers on all parts except bolt, missing cleaning rod. Bore is somewhat bright and quite strong. Walnut stock has many dings, scrapes and other marks but no cracks. Very Good or better condition, with 80% or better original blued finish.  Bold Spanish crest with OBERNDORF 1896 above chamber. All matching serial numbers on all parts, bore is somewhat bright and very strong. Walnut stock has been cut-off 3/4" from the rear barrel-band and barrel has been shortened to 25" as well. SPANISH Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 10951  (7x57mm) made by Loewe in 1895. Excellent condition, with 95% or better original blued finish. All matching serial numbers on all parts, Ornate Ludwig Loewe Co. logo atop chamber. Bore is very bright and strong. Walnut stock has some dings and scrapes but retains its original finish, with 1894-dated cartouche on left side.  Not import marked.  This very rifle illustrated and described on page 332 of Mauser Military Rifles of the World (4th edition) by Bob Ball. Very rare. SPANISH Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action saddle-ring carbine # A3853  (7x57mm) made by Oviedo in 1899. Very Good or better condition, with 70% or better original blued finish. All matching serial numbers on all parts (bolt only stamped 53), bore is somewhat bright and a bit worn. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-46933 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1956. Excellent condition, with 98% Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Matching serial numbered bolt (no other parts numbered), crest atop receiver extremely clear. SWEDISH Model 94 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 5427 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1898 with bent bolt and lacking bayonet lug. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all major parts. Has strong markings and a mirror-bright and strong bore.  All-matching serial numbers (427) except rear barrel-band (575) and rear sight (989), front nose-cap has extension to increase barrel-length to 18" (required to be legal until 1986). Two small holes drilled & tapped for scope mount on right side of receiver (filled in with small screws, virtually unnoticeable). Beech stock & handguard has very few handling marks. SWEDISH Model 94 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 27024 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1904 with bent bolt and lacking bayonet lug. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing on all major parts. Has strong markings and a mirror-bright and strong bore.  All-matching serial numbers (024) except rear barrel-band (689). Walnut stock & handguard has dents, scuffs and handling-marks from service use with a 1/2" x 1 1/2" arsenal repair at bottom of forend. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 45763 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1907 with bent bolt and bayonet lug. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all major parts. Has strong markings and a mirror-bright and strong bore.  All-matching serial numbers (763) except bolt-knob seems to be unnumbered. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 647448 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent-bolt and non-threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 92% original bluing on all parts. Has a mirror-bright very strong bore (has unit disk rather than bore disk).  Rear sight has 100 meter zero. All-matching stamped serial numbers (crooked crowns on magazine floorplate and barrel-bands).  Beech stock & handguard has been nicely refinished, with few handling-marks since. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 654923 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent-bolt and non-threaded muzzle.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has a mirror-bright very strong bore (bore-disk indicating 6.52/3).  T-type rear sight has 150 meter zero. All-matching stamped numbers except rear barrel-band. TURKISH Model 1893 bolt-action rifle # 1132  (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1894/5 (1313 A.H.) and re-chambered to 8mm (from 7.65x54mm) at Ankara in 1933.  Very Good or better condition, metal has most bluing intact. Tangent rear sight has Western numerals, no matching serial numbers (as usual). Strong and very bright bore, receiver has base for (deactivated) magazine-cutoff on right side.  Buttstock is walnut with a few dings but is sound. Includes cleaning-rod. TURKISH Model 98/22 Mauser bolt-action rifle # D7594 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1923. Excellent condition, with 98% or better bluing remaining on all external metal. Bore is extremely bright and strong, bolt not numbered, no other stamped numbered parts match receiver. The only indication of its Turkish service is the rear sight (which is calibrated with Arabic numerals instead of Western numerals). TURKISH Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 21936 (8x57) rearsenaled by Ankara arsenal in 1936, a large-ring Mauser with straight plum-handled bolt.  Very Good condition, with much browned bluing remaining. Rear sight serial numbered 936 to match receiver (other numbered parts have Arabic numerals or are not matching). TURKISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 12098 (8x57) rearsenaled by K. Kale (Ankara) arsenal in 1945, a large-ring Mauser with bent bolt.  Near Excellent condition, with nearly all bluing remaining on all external metal. Rear sight numbered 12098 to match receiver (other numbered parts not matching, as usual).
