    BELGIAN Model Melior semiautomatic pistol # 66233 (.25 ACP), mfg. by Robar et Cie (Liege) in 1924. Excellent condition, with 90% or better original bluing on metal. Belgian postwar proofs on left side. Bore is mirror-bright and strongr. Has bakelite MELIOR grips, the right one broken and held together with an Uncle Mike rubber bootie. Functional.     CZECH Model CZ24 semiautomatic pistol # 105405 (.380 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Prague in 1931. Near Excellent condition with 85% or better original bluing with the slightest trace of holster wear. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, markings are very sharp. Smooth walnut grips are in pretty nice condition. Not import-marked, a really handsome example, much nicer than usually encountered. PHOTOS . . . $575.    C&R   

    FINN Model P-08 Luger semiautomatic pistol # 252 (7.65 Luger), Finn contract mfg. at DWM in c.1923. Very Good or better condition, with bluing mostly intact. No matching numbers as is usual with Finn Lugers, right checkered walnut grip inlet for Finn unit-disk (which is no longer present). Has un-numbered wood-bottomed magazine and is 100% functional.     GERMAN Model PPK Walther semiautomatic pistol # 251028K (.32 ACP) mfg. at Walther in c.1939. Near Excellent condition, retains over 85% bluing with gorgeous high-polish finish to metal and perfect mirror-bright bore, some holster wear from actual service use at sides of muzzle and front part of frame. A commercial model PPK with crown over N proofmarks. Original mottled-brown plastic grips, the right grip partially buckled. Includes cbg 43 fulll-flap dark-burgundy leather holster with cut belt-loop. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $950.    C&R

MILITARY RIFLES

    AUSTRALIAN Martini Cadet single-shot rook rifle # 46174 (.310 Greener) mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in c.1910 with state of Victoria property marks (and its own serial number 19961 on both stock and receiver). Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and very bold markings (including that of a Kangeroo above chamber). Wood has original finish with very strong VICTORIA state cartouches dated 7/11 and has not been sanded with a few minor dings, bore is very strong and mirror-bright.     AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight pull stutzer carbine # 1353 (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr before WWI. Excellent condition, no doubt arsenal-refinished to as-new condition with full 100% bluing and very strong bright bore, large Hungarian H atop chamber (indicating rechambering from 8x50R to 8x56R). All-matching numbers, beech stock has only a few minor handling marks and is extremely attractive. Front sight has been made taller to provide good groups at 100 meters.     BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1* bolt-action rifle # 57C1302 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1944 with U.S. PROPERTY on left rail of receiver. Excellent condition with full external finish. Bolt matches receiver, 2-groove bore strong and mirror-bright, bolt head stamped 2. Rear sight is stamped ladder type.  Walnut stock is really nice with grooved rear handguard.     BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # X6766 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in September, 1946. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% intact military stoving (glossy black paint) on metal. Stock, bolt and magazine matching receiver, with strong mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 0-marked bolt-head.     FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #65695 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1933 with 1896-dated Tula receiver. Excellent PLUS condition, with 99% bluing, matching-bolt, bore excellent and mirror-bright. Front barrel-band is of the "early" type. Stock is two-piece mortised Finn design, some of the usual handling and storage marks and dings with a slight loss on left side near handguard.     FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 17102 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by S.I.G. on a scrubbed hexagonal receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% or better original bluing. Top of receiver marked SY and D, bolt-body stamped 17102 to match. Bore is mirror-bright and quite strong (has been counterbored at muzzle) includes cleaning-rod.     FINN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # IM1698 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1941 and [SA] (Finnish capture) marked on left side of receiver. Excellent condition, entire rifle has been spray-painted black with a strong mostly bright bore. No matching numbers, receiver is grooved for scope-mount and rear of receiver slotted for scope.  Features 12-slotted muzzle-break. Includes cleaning-rod and 10-round magazine. Not import marked.     FRENCH Model 1907-15 Berthier bolt-action infantry rifle # B50681 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Delaunay Belleville in 1917. Very Good or better condition, N-marked chamber, all matching numbers including stock, bore is mostly dark but really strong, a few handling-marks on stock but has original finish. Fully functional.     ITALIAN Model 1870/87/16 Vetterli-Vitali bolt-action infantry rifle # DG4348 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Torino in 1889. Good condition, with bluing turning brown on all metal parts with some encrustation present. Bore is dark but the rifle appears to be functional. Buttstock number not matching, stock a bit rough but sound Not import-marked, not recommended for shooting. PHOTO . . . $200.    Antique, no FFL required

    ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine # I4499 (7.35 Carcano) mfg. by F.N.A. Brescia in 1938. Overall an Excellent example, metal in excellent condition with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.35. Buttstock aslo cartouched 7.35 and serial number matches receiver with some of the expected handling marks from actual service use. Not import-marked, a very handsome example, scarce.     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 25, # 69916 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1936. Excellent condition with all original bluing remaining, intact Mum with action cover and cleaning rod.     NEW ZEALAND Enfield No.4 Mk.1* bolt-action rifle # 7L8386 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch in 1942. Receiver and magazine have New Zealand markings with property number 2122 (also stamped 2122 on top of bolt handle). Near Excellent condition with a little wear and all matching serial numbers, bolt-head stamped with a 3. Two-groove bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright.     SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-28290 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1954. Excellent condition, with 95% or better Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bright bore. Matching bolt, no other parts numbered. Crest atop receiver weak but legible.     SWEDISH Model 96B bolt-action Mauser infantry rifle # 235267 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1908, with straight bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, about 90% external bluing with bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.51/3), all-matching numbers except for rear sight (cleaning rod not numbered). Walnut stock and handguard has original finish and a few handling-marks and scuffs. Includes screw-on commercial muzzle-break and correct leather sling. PHOTO . . . $350.    C&R   SOLD

    TURKISH Model 1893 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 31697 (8x57), mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1894/5 (dated A.H. 1312). Very Good condition, with 60% bluing on all parts, Ottoman markings atop receiver removed when rechambered to 8mm by Ankara arsenal in 1938. Has very strong markings. bolt not matching (as usual) and a strong bright bore. Walnut stock & handguard has subtle tigerstripe figure on handguard with a few handling marks.     U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4756195 (.30-06) mfg. by Smith Corona in June 1943. Excellent condition with 98% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect 6-46 dated SC 4-groove bore (0.0 ME). Walnut stock has a couple dings and scratches but is otherwise flawless with  FJA. cartouche on left side. A U.S. Navy marked Eddystone:

    U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 544116 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in early 1918. Excellent condition with 95% original blued (NOT Parkerized) finish on metal and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore (0.75 ME), barrel stamped JA (Johnson Automatics). Stock has a few handling marks with S.S.A.A (San Antonio Arsenal) cartouche on left side above U.S.N. (United States Navy) stamp, another U.S.N. above DW stamp on right side of stock near buttplate.     YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48BO Mauser bolt-action rifle # V58905 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in 1957. Excellent condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 95% or better original bluing and a sharp mirror-bore. No crest above chamber or manufacturer's markings All-matching numbers, with stamped triggerguard and magazine-floorplate.  Bent bolt has flattened bottom.
