HANDGUNS 

ARGENTINE Model Balester-Rigaud semiautomatic pistol; # 5653 (.45 ACP), mfg. at Hafdasa for the Argentine National Security Force.  Very Good condition, with holster wear mostly on the left side of slide and front of grip, some spotting where it was "holstered wet". Bore is a little worn but mirror-bright. All matching numbers except for magazines, all markings clear with bold Argentine crest and GENDARMERIA NACIONAL on right side of slide. Includes two 7-round magazines. This is somewhat of a copy of the Colt 1911 with some differences (no grip-safety) based on the "Star Super" pistols.  They are very reliable and accurate. . . $275.   C&R       SOLD

GERMAN  "Menta" semiautomatic pistol # 6094 (.32 ACP), mfg. by August Menz, Suhl in 1916-1918.  Very Good Plus, with about 90% bluing intact. Nice shiny bore, with one eight-round magazine.  There were only 15,000 of these pistols manufactured before the armistice, and many were used by the Germans during WWI.   Some minor loss to left edge of left grip-panel (hardly noticeable), else .  See Still, "The Pistols of Germany and its Allies in Two World Wars, Vol. 1", page 50 and figure 11b for more information. . . $225.   C&R  SOLD

GERMAN Model 1930 "Broomhandle" semiautomatic pistol #840489 (7.63 Mauser) mfg. at Mauser in c.1932.  A likely-reblued commercial model with 5" barrel, serial # on left side of slide, number atop slide (039) does not match but all parts fit together and function well. Quite attractive, with full bluing and slotted for shoulder-stock.  Pistol is functional and all parts fit extremely well and do not appear worn.   Bore is quite sharp and shiny with well-defined rifling, walnut grips in good condition. . . $450.   C&R     SOLD

POLISH Model P-35 Radom VIS semiautomatic pistol #R8406 (9mm Parabellum)  mfg. at Radom Arms Factory in c.mid-1943 under Nazi occupation. Type 2, with no stock-slot, later variation with stippled wooden grips. All-matching numbers, Near Excellent condition with holster-wear only to sharp edges, otherwise 95% military blue and a near-perfect mirror-bore. Eagle over 77 stamps on slide and frame, Eagle over 623 on slide.  Not import-marked. . . $425.   C&R 

RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant 7-shot gas-seal revolver #18639 (7.62x38R Nagant), mfg. at Tula arsenal in 1920. Arsenal-refinished to as-new condition, with very crisply checkered wooden grips. Includes holster, wooden-handled screwdriver, cleaning-rod and lanyard. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher carbine #8090Z (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr before WWI. Excellent-plus, no doubt arsenal-refinished to new condition with full 100% bluing and very strong bright bore. All-matching numbers (bolt is engraved and stock number crossed-through and stamped to match), beech stock has only a few minor handling marks and is extremely attractive, handguard stained a bit darker. . . $125. EGYPTIAN "Rasheed" semiautomatic carbine #2379 (7.62x39), mfg. by Port Said in 1969 with attached blade bayonet.  Near excellent INCOMPLETE condition, with about 90-95% original external blued finish.  Bore is mirror-bright and very strong. Missing a number of parts, including bolt and bolt-carrier, trigger-group, magazine, buttplate. front-sight, muzzle-nut, slide for rear-sight, safety-switch and all action-screws.  Present are barreled-action (with great bore as stated), nice attractive nearly mar-free buttstock and handguard with all fittings (except buttplate), triggerguard, bolt-handle, action-cover, safety-housing, rear-sight leaf and attached bayonet.  A very good "project-gun" and I do know that there are many parts available for this scarce carbine available. . . $125.  C&R 

FINN Model 91/24 "Lotta" Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #14743 (7.62x54R)  barrel mfg. by Bohler-Stahl and marked with '''' atop large S in shield above chamber, receiver mfg. by Izhevsk in 1910.  VG condition, with 80% bluing and a stepped-barrel (with shortened-chamber marking, like a Christmas-tree, on the shank).  Matching bolt-knob, bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod, New England Westinghouse stock with "English Contract" cartouche on let side, several stamps (mostly S for civil-guard numbers) on right side, less than normal handling-marks on wood. . . $275.   C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #36842 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Belgium (marked B) in 1942built on an 1894 Chatellerault receiver.   Excellent plus (no doubt an arsenal-rework) with 100% bluing and a gorgeous mirror-bore. Matching bolt-knob, Finn three-piece stock and handguard has been very nicely refinished and is absolutely gorgeous! FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #63246 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka in 1944 on an 1896-dated Tula receiver.  Excellent-plus, with 98% bluing and wire from arsenal-tag still attached to front sling swivel. Bore is mirror-bright and as-new, receiver looks sea-salvaged with external pitting (but is sound or else the Finns would not have used it). FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #208578 (7.62x54R)  mfg. by SAKO in 1941 with PUOLUSTUSLAITOS stamped on barrel-shank.  Very Good condition, with maybe 80% thinning blue on external metal and what appears to be blood-pitting on receiver and barrel-shank. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #504145 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1943 with SK.Y civil-guard marked barrel and 1900 Izhevsk receiver. Good condition, zero external bluing but with really nice bore.  Matching bolt-knob, beat-up WWII-era stock with 42-dated S in shield cartouche on right side. HUNGARY Model 1895 Steyr-Mannlicher straight-pull carbine #4131 (8x56R), mfg. at Budapest in c.1915   Excellent arsenal-refinished condition with 100% bluing.  Bore is strong and bright (a little frost in the grooves), with matching barrel, receiver, bolt and stock. BUDAPEST stamped atop chamber. Gorgeous streaked Walnut buttstock with lighter Beech handguard, both with only a couple small handling-marks and nice finish (sling-swivel slot at bottom of buttstock filled-in with tigerstripe lighter wood). . . $120.   C&R   

ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle #3739b (7.62 NATO) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG (code bnz) in 1944.   Near excellent,  nearly complete bluing, magazine floorplate / triggerguard turned to plum.  Decent bore, strong rifling if not extremely bright.  No matching numbers (as usual), but decent headspace, some pitting at wood-line and likely light-rust below wood-line. Nazi firing-proof (Eagle holding swastika) obliterated in anger, other Nazi WaffenAmpts still clear, has front sight-hood.  Nice solid beech stock with cupped buttplate and quite a few handling-marks, 7.62 deeply stamped at bottom of buttstock and at top of receiver, Israeli marks clear.  . . $275.   C&R 

PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle #P7089 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1929. Unissued, all-matching numbers. Internally perfect with a perfect bore, slight rubbung on external metal (mostly where bayonet was been mounted and removed several times and rifle was leaned against rack), wood has some contact-marks and abrasions from palletizing and a 2" scratch on left side by buttplate but has a lovely finish characteristic of high-quality furniture. These are the best-possible shooters in 8mm, with incredible workmanship. . . $325. C&R

PORTUGUESE  Model 904/39  Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle #678 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904.   Very Good condition with all-matching numbers.  Original (browning) finish with a nice mirror-bright bore. Wood has very few handling-marks, no cleaning-rod.  Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, they were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII. . . $175.    C&R 

PORTUGUESE  Model 904/39  Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle #D4190 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904.   Near Excellent condition with all-matching numbers.  95% bluing with a nice mirror-bright bore. Lovely streaked walnut stock has very few handling-marks, no cleaning-rod. . . $195.    C&R 

RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin Nagant bolt-action long-rifle #143652 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1896.  Good condition, with only about 40% remaining bluing, no matching numbers.  Finn SA property-mark on barrel-shank. The triggerguard and magazine appear to be sea-salvaged and though heavily pitted are still functional.  Excellent shiny bore, all markings very strong with both Czarist eagles present. Decent Finn 2-piece buttstock with very few handling-marks, no handguard (proper for M91 rifles mfg. before 1910), no cleaning-rod, has wire sling-swivels. . . $175.   Antique, no FFL required   

RUSSIAN Model 91/38 Mosin Nagant bolt-action carbine #15562 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1904.  Excellent condition, with 99% bluing, all matching numbers (the ones on the bolt electro-penciled).  Excellent shiny bore, all markings very strong with both Czarist eagles present. New-looking beech buttstock (of the M44 type, with groove for bayonet on side), handguard has very interesting arsenal-repair on handguard that looks like it was done with toothpicks.  All 91/38 carbines are high-quality postwar Czech reworks of  1891 rifles, the barrels shortened and the rear-sight replaced by the shorter M38 version. SPANISH Model 1916 Mauser bolt-action rifle #46570 (7x57) mfg. by Oviedo in c.1925. Very Good condition, with 80% bluing, usual mismatched bolt. Very strong and shiny bore, nice walnut stock and handguard with usual amount of handling-marks from use and storage.  Includes cleaning-rod.  These are very seldom encountered in their original 7mm caliber (most having been converted to 7.62x51 CETME). . . $225.   C&R

Excellent-plus condition, with 99% bluing, all-matching numbers except magazine-floorplate, has bent-bolt.  Has black ZYTEL sporter stock, drilled and tapped with high-rings mounted containing a BSA Contender 4-18x40 TS scope with front extension and screw-on lens-caps and a Shilen fully-adjustable trigger. SWEDISH Model 41B Mauser bolt-action SNIPER rifle #223920 (6.5x55) mfg. by CARL GUSTAF in 1908. Excellent-plus, with literally 100% bluing, only bolt and all bolt-parts matching receiver (as usual with these 41B snipers) as well as the matching-numbered scope-mount and metal scope-case.  Nazi 1942-dated Ajack 4x90 scope has really clear optics.  Virtually perfect mirror-bore with bore-disk stamped 6.52/1. Very attractive Ash stock with matching-colored beech handguard, the former with really spectacular grain pattern and only a few small compressions from adjacent rifles during transport and storage. . . $1525.   C&R

Excellent-plus, with literally 100% bluing, only bolt and all bolt-parts matching receiver (as usual with these 41B snipers) as well as the matching-numbered scope-mount and metal scope-case.  Nazi 1942-dated Ajack 4x90 scope has really clear optics.  Virtually perfect mirror-bore with bore-disk stamped 6.51/0.
