AUSTRIAN Model 1912 Steyr-Hahn semiautomatic pistol #7198r (9x20SR) mfg. by Steyr in 1917. Excellent condition with 95% military-blue finish and a near-perfect bore, All-matching numbers, nice checkered walnut grips, with correct military holster and stripper-clip containing eight recently-fired RWS shell-cases. BRITISH Mark II revolver #53686 (converted to .45 ACP) mfg. by Webley & Son in 1896 with 4" barrel and bird-head grip. Very Good condition, with 80% original bluing somewhat faded and turning to plum. All-matching numbers, many military proofs (including huge broad-arrow on top-strap), Royal Navy marked on back strap. Totally functional though action is a bit sloppy and the screws have all been buggered, but has an excellent, bright bore and chambers. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $595. Antique, no FFL required
BRITISH Mark III revolver #8008 (.455 caliber) mfg. by Webley & Son in 1898 with 4" barrel and bird-head grip. Near Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing somewhat faded and turning to plum (a few small areas of pitting from being "holstered wet"). All-matching numbers, a commercial model with the "flying bullet" logo. Totally functional and locks up tight, with a near- perfect mirror-bore and chambers. BRITISH Mark IV revolver #93390 (converted to .45 ACP) mfg. by Webley & Son in 1910 with 4" barrel and bird-head grip. Near Excellent condition, with 90% original strong bluing turning to plum and a few of the expected rough-handling marks. A military model with both Queensland Police and Australian Department of Defense markings and all-matching numbers. Excellent condition, with 95% original strong bluing and only a few of the expected handling marks. All-matching numbers (the spare cylinder unnumbered). FRENCH Model 17 "Unique" semiautomatic pistol #103999 (.32 ACP) mfg. in the late 1940's by Manufacture d'Armes des Pyrénées. Excellent condition with virtually no wear and a near-perfect mirror bore. Black-plastic RF-logo (Republique Francaise) grips, this is the Kriegsmodel version with 9-shot magazine and a hammer instead of a striker (pistols of this type were also made during Nazi occupation). JAPANESE Model 1922 semiautomatic pistol # 141316 (.32 ACP), mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1936. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing ( slight wear at edges and by muzzle) and near-perfect mirror bore. All-matching numbers, Chrysanthemum stamped on right side of frame above trigger. Not import-marked, Japanese officers had the option of purchasing foreign-made sidearms, and many FN Model 1900, 1910 and 1922 pistols saw service in the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy during WWII . POLISH Model P-35 Radom VIS semiautomatic pistol #P8510 (9mm Parabellum) mfg. at Radom in c.1941. Type 2 variation with takedown lever but no slot. Excellent condition, with holster-wear only to sharp edges, otherwise 95% military blue (much better than usual finish for this period), beautiful mirror-bore, all-matching numbers with sharp un-chipped black bakelite grips. ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle #N1763 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in c. 1914. UNISSUED, with nearly 100% original bluing (receiver in the white as is proper for these). Bore is mirror-perfect, Argentine crest is extremely bold and beautiful. All-matching numbers (including wood, cleaning-rod and muzzle-cap). Gorgeous reddish-walnut stock that has never been sanded with intact cartouche on right side, a couple very minor scuffs from contact with adjacent rifles during normal storage & handling through the years. Includes brass and steel muzzle-cap and correct green-leather sling also in new condition. This rifle very simply looks NEW rather than 86+ years old, of the absolute highest prewar workmanship and quality. Not import-marked, UNIMPROVABLE! PHOTOS . . . $975. C&R
AUSTRIAN Model 1895 "stutzen" Mannlicher straight-pull carbine #5609 (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917. Excellent arsenal-refreshed condition with 100% strong bluing and a nice shiny bore. Wood has vivid tiger-stripe figure (quite a bit more pronounced than in photo) and surfaces are nearly mar-free. Serial # has been re-stamped on receiver, bolt # matches. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # B7461 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1923 with shield-logo on receiver, the barrel replaced by Lithgow in August, 1944. Very Good condition with strong, mirror- bright bore. All-matching numbers (rear-sight not numbered and is a 1943-dated replacement). Buttstock has faint cartouches on right side, rack-number 16 carved on left side as well as on bottom of forend (#16 also painted in white on the bolt cocking-piece). AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # D71218 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1942 and underwent Factory Thorough Repair with replacement barrel in July, 1952. Excellent condition with strong, mirror-bright bore. All-matching numbers (bolt not numbered), Australian Forces (A↑F) stamped on left side of receiver, long buttstock has clear 1944-dated cartouches on right side. Both bolt and receiver have been renumbered, rear-sight and nosecap are unnumbered. Buttstock has clear MA over 3/45 cartouches on right side as well as a brass unit-disc. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # X50156 (.303 British) mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1915 with the barrel replaced by Lithgow Arsenal in April, 1945. Near Excellent condition with not much actual wear. Bore is dark and rough but has strong rifling. No number on bolt or nose-cap, has slot in receiver for magazine-cutoff, buttstock has clear 1943 and 12/46 dated cartouches on right side. BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # R66080 (.303 British) mfg. by National Rifle Factory in 1918 with original 1918-dated barrel. Excellent condition with strong, mirror- bright bore. All-matching numbers throughout, old-style round cocking-knob, Australian Defense Department (D↑D) boldly stamped atop receiver, bantam (short) buttstock has brass unit-disc on right side. FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #31012 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1942. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% bluing, matching bolt-knob, bore is near perfect and mirror-bright. FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #76903 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1934. Excellent-PLUS condition with at least 99% bluing, matching-bolt, bore is near-perfect and mirror-bright. Stock is nearly flawless with crossed-cannon cartouche on right side. Very few small nicks and scrapes on left side, by FAR the finest Finn M27 I have ever seen (or can imagine). PHOTOS . . . $450. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #27729 (7.62x54R) with STRAIGHT-STOCK, barrel mfg. by VKT in 1941. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing and gorgeous mirror-bore and matching bolt-knob. Gorgeous two-piece birch stock with fancy grain pattern, two circular-plugs on right side and popsicle-stick type mortices at each side.
