EGYPTIAN Model 52 semiautomatic pistol #77691 (9mm) mfg. by Helwan in c.1956. A licensed copy of the Beretta 951, marked in English on the left side of the slide and Arabic on the right. Near Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing (some spotting on right side from being "holstered wet"), a perfect mirror-bore, and including one eight-round magazine.  PHOTOS . . . $195.  not C&R 

GERMAN Model 1896 "Bolo" Broomhandle semiautomatic pistol # 486945 (7.63mm), mfg. at Mauser factory circa 1920. Very Good condition externally, with most of the blue turned to brown with a few areas of pitting from being "holstered wet", but has all-matching numbers (externally, anyway... I'm not about to disassemble it).  Has been refurbished by now-defunct Mentor Arms with all-new springs, fire-blued trigger, extractor and other parts, the barrel has been sleeved and the bore is perfect. The action is exceptionally smooth.  All original markings sharp and clear, with repro leather holster. Perfect for someone who wants a safe, excellent shooter.    PHOTO. . . $625.   C&R    SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant revolver #5221 (7.62x38R Nagant) mfg. by TULA in 1909, with Soviet Ministry of Defense marking (MO/53) and additional 1931 date stamped on left side, East German property-mark (1 inside triangle) on right side. All-matching numbers, an arsenal-rework in arsenal-new condition, Imperial legend weak but legible. Has original checkered wood grips that have not been sanded. RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant revolver #13951 (7.62x38R Nagant) mfg. by TULA in 1926. All-matching numbers, an arsenal-rework in arsenal-new condition, Early Soviet C.C.C.P. markings extremely clear, checkered bakelite grips. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # C5425 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941 with likely original 1-42 dated barrel.  Very Good condition with slightly rough but somewhat bright bore. All-matching numbers, buttstock has clear 1942-dated Lithgow cartouches on right side. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # D46133 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1942, barrel dated 4-43.  Very Good condition with slightly rough but strong bore. Rear-sight and nose-cap matching receiver, bolt is unnumbered. Buttstock has faint 1943 cartouches on right side and someone scratched the name NORMA. Bolt and nose-cap matching receiver, rear-sight is unnumbered. Buttstock has 1945 cartouches on right side. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # F39710 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1953, barrel dated 5-54.  Very Good condition with slightly rough but strong bore. Bolt and rear-sight not numbered, nose=cap numbered but not matching.  Some of the expected handling-marks on wood. BELGIAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action short rifle #8390 (7.65x53mm) mfg. in Liege in the late-1930's. Excellent condition with 95+% original bluing and a sharp mirror-bright bore. All-matching numbers, includes cleaning-rod.  Receiver marked MANUFACTURE D'ARMES DE L'ETAT with tangent-sight calibrated from 100-1900 meters. Stock has subtle fiddleback walnut figure, with only a few handling-marks.  Not import-marked, scarce in the U.S. and rarely seen as nice as this example.  PHOTOS . . . $650.  C&R    SOLD

BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # I5515 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1918 with original 1918-dated barrel. Very Good condition with strong, somewhat bright bore. All-matching numbers on bolt-body, rear-sight, and nose-cap. Australian Defense Department (inside D) stamped atop receiver, buttstock has brass unit-disc on right side as well as several cartouches (one dated 5/23). Wood has typical handling-marks for a rifle that has seen long service, with a good-sized dent in the right side. PHOTOS . . . $275.  C&R   SOLD

BRITISH No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # M67840 (.303 British), a "dispersal" rifle mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1941 with replacement Lithgow 9-43 dated barrel. Near Excellent condition with slightly rough but strong bore. Bolt and nose-cap unnumbered, rear-sight not matching. The usual handling-marks on wood but is sound. PHOTOS . . . $350.  C&R 

COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle #3317-58 (.30-06),  mfg. by Madsen in 1958.   UNISSUED, with nearly 100% original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect.  Stock and handguard have only a couple dings from handling but no apparent wear. This was the last military bolt-action designed for general use (complete with very effective muzzle-break and recoil-pad), not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . . $525.  Not C&R  SOLD

DUTCH Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action carbine #2469C (6.5x53R Dutch) mfg. by Steyr in 1897 for the Marechausee (Dutch colonial military police).  Excellent condition with 99% bluing and bold markings. Gorgeous mirror-bore, all-matching numbers throughout (including at bottom of stock). Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $275.   C&R    SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #43366 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Belgium in 1942 with 1909-dated Izhevsk receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing and gorgeous mirror-bore and matching bolt-knob, barrel-shank has a plum-colored hue.  Gorgeous two-piece birch post-war stock with fancy grain pattern with only a few minor scuffs keeping it from the "perfect, as issued" class. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #45907 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by VKT in 1942 with 1900-dated Tula receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition, 100% bluing with gorgeous mirror-bore and matching bolt-knob.  Three-piece WWII-era birch stock with fancy grain pattern, six circular-plugs and popsicle-stick type mortises at each side. A well-done arsenal-repair at bottom of forend. Only a few minor scuffs and handling-marks from being palletized. PHOTOS . . . . $175. C&R 

FINN Model 39 bolt-action Mosin Nagant rifle #222625 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by SAKO in 1942 on an 1897-dated Tula receiver.  Very Good condition with about 70% bluing and a strong, bright bore. WWII-era buttstock and handguard has UNIT-DISK stamped 3 PSTO KARO PR around 160 tacked on right side.   Some dings and digs from handling and storage, but sound and not unattractive. FRENCH Model 1907-16 bolt-action Berthier rifle #D97311 (8x50R), mfg. by Continsousa in 1917. Excellent condition with about 95% bluing and a strong, bright bore. Nice buttstock and handguard with minimal handling-marks, a couple insignificant cracks radiating backwards from triggerguard.. PHOTOS . . . $275.   C&R   SOLD

JAPANESE Type I Carcano bolt-action rifle #B3972 (6.5x50) mfg. by Beretta in 1939. Excellent condition, with 92% bluing (some rub on left side of receiver) with near-excellent mostly-bright bore.  Nice walnut two-piece stock and handguard with only a few scuffs and handling-marks. LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #1880 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National  in c.1954.  Near Excellent condition with 85% black-enamel finish (mostly chipped from bottom of magazine and sharp edges), all-matching numbers. Bore is gorgeous and mirror-bright, AL stamped above chamber.  Very attractive fiddleback walnut stock with nice straight-grained handguard and only a few of the expected handling-marks. Only 6,000 FN-49 rifles were made for Luxembourg, and .30-06 is the most desirable chambering in this model rifle. Includes long-bayonet and leather sling, and yes. . . this rifle is every bit as nice as it appears to be. PERUVIAN Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle #30513 (7.65x53) mfg. by Mauser in c. 1914.   UNISSUED, with nearly 100% original bluing (receiver in the white as is proper for these). Bore is mirror-perfect, Peruvian crest is extremely bold and beautiful.  All-matching numbers except for bolt (as usual, which is #3507).  Gorgeous reddish-walnut stock that has never been sanded with intact MAUSER cartouche on right side, a couple scrapes on both sides of wood and barrel-bands from contact with checkered rear-sight adjusters of adjacent rifles during normal storage & handling through the years.  Includes brass and steel muzzle-cap and correct Peruvian brown-leather sling with square brass buckle.  Not import-marked, rare.  PHOTOS . . . $750.   C&R      SOLD

PORTUGUESE Model 1886 Kropatschek bolt-action short-rifle #D111 (8x60R Kropatschek) mfg. by Steyr in 1886.  Excellent condition with gorgeous mirror-perfect bore. Metal has full bluing, and (unusually) has all matching numbers. Completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original leather sling. Wood was lightly sanded long ago but cartouches faint but legible. I doubt if this specimen could possibly be upgraded. PHOTOS  . . . $295.   Antique, no FFL required   SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 SNIPER rifle #AG8088 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Izhevsk in 1944.  An excellent-plus rearsenaled genuine original PU-sniper with close to 100% bluing and a strong bright bore.  All-matching numbers (the scope-mount engraved with both the rifle and scope numbers, the bolt, magazine-floorplate and buttplate stamped with 8088 only), scope has near-perfect optics and is correct for late Izhevsk snipers.  Stock is quite nice with that thick reddish-shellac that tends to chip and peel, small popsicle-stick dovetailed arsenal repair on left side of forend, handguard has a couple scrapes, a couple dings from handling rather than use. Includes original web-sling, leather end-caps and canvas cover for the scope.  PHOTOS  . . . $675.  C&R   SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #YG1631 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Izhevsk in 1947. An ex-sniper rifle with high-wall receiver and scope # 136395 stamped on left side of barrel-shank, mounting-bolts ground off left side of receiver but remnants can be seen on inside of bolt-channel.  Arsenal refurbished to as-new condition with 100% bluing on metal and reddish shellac on wood, a few scrapes in finish. All-matching stamped numbers (bolt is replacement with straight handle and numbered to receiver), bore is excellent and quite bright. Includes cleaning-rod, web-sling, ammo-pouch and cleaning-kit. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle #496020 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1921 with [SA] Finn-property marks.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing throughout. Has an excellent mirror-bore (bore-disc indicating 6.50/1).  All-matching numbers throughout (020, cleaning-rod not numbered). Includes screw-on metal muzzle-cap.  Beech stock has quite a bit of figure and "flash", some scrapes and other handling-marks from actual combat usage apparent but not distracting or disfiguring and looks like it retains its original finish. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle #4453032 (.30-06) mfg. by International Harvester Company in May, 1953.  An ex-CMP rifle with the "Postage Stamp" receiver marking.  Excellent condition, with nearly-full uniform dark-gray Parkerizing and a gorgeous mirror-bore.  All-correct IHC-marked parts (barrel correctly marked LMR 5-53) except for only two parts: a late Springfield bolt and PO-marked gas-plug.  Walnut IHC buttstock (#2102 in barrel-channel) and handguards, no external cartouche visible. Wood has quite a few dings and nicks from handling and storage, but is otherwise sound. Excellent trigger and reportedly a great shooter.  Includes CMP documentation, instruction booklet and original U.S. Government shipping-box. PHOTOS . . . $875. C&R      SOLD
