ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # C3367 (7.65x54), mfg. by DWM  in 1910.  Good to Very Good condition, with 40-60% worn bluing on barrel and small parts (receiver "in the white" as is proper for these). Has strong if not particularly bright bore.  All-matching numbers except bolt (which is C3487). no cleaning-rod. Walnut stock & handguard has possible original finish with a few of the expected scratches and handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $250.   C&R   SOLD

BRAZILIAN Model 1908/34 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 4635s (7x57), mfg. by CZ  in c.1934.  Near Excellent condition, with 85-90% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong Brazilian crest above chamber and other markings are sharp as well. Bore is strong and mostly bright. Bent bolt not matching, but everything else does. Walnut stock & handguard has original finish with a few of the expected scratches and handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $275.   C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # A4433 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955. UNISSUED condition, literally NEW in cosmoline and mummy-wrap. Has normal butt, two small dings on left side of stock where paper was peeled down (by the importer to confirm serial number). PHOTOS . . . $750.   C&R   SOLD

CHINESE Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 1722138 (7.62x39) mfg. by Factory 636 arsenal in c.1971. Excellent-PLUS (literally unissued) condition, not fired much if at all, with all-matching numbers. Not import-marked, quite possibly a "bringback" from the Vietnam conflict. Near-perfect mirror bore, with cleaning-rod and spike-bayonet attached and cleaning-kit still in the butt-trap. CHINESE Model AK47S semiautomatic rifle # CGA1732 (7.62x39) mfg. by unknown Chinese Arms factory in c. 1988. Excellent-PLUS (literally unissued) condition, not fired much if at all, with all-matching numbers. An early fixed-stock import with the rare attached folding spike-bayonet. Near-perfect mirror bore, with cleaning-rod and spike-bayonet attached and cleaning-kit still in the butt-trap. Virtually no handling-marks on wood or metal, a near-perfect example. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 206070 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1941. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright very strong bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod and recently detached Finn arsenal-tag. FRENCH Model 45 MAS bolt-action rifle # F23287 (.22 LR) mfg. by St. Ettienne after 1945. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition with 100% parkerized finish intact. Includes one five-round detachable magazine. PHOTOS . . . $575.  C&R    

GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 2707z (8mm), mfg. by Bystrica (factory code dou) in 1944.  An original, correct bringback 98k in Near Excellent condition, with 90% bluing, all-matching numbers, all late-war semi-Kriegsmodell features with stamped small parts. Extremely attractive laminated stock. Bore is excellent and bright, intact swastika on left side of barrel-shank. No cleaning-rod (nor provision for one). JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle # 854363 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1920. Excellent condition with full original bluing and intact mum. Most bolt parts numbered 970.  This type has ladder V-sight, includes cleaning-rod but lacking action-cover. Strong but not very bright bore, wood has original finish and is sound with some loss on left side by receiver. No import-marks. PHOTO . . . $450.  C&R   SOLD

JAPANESE Type 44 Arisaka bolt-action carbine # 010193 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1915. Fair to Good condition with little original finish, metal covered with rusty scale. Bolt mismatched, intact mum.  This type has ladder V-sight and first type bayonet housing. Strong and surprisingly bright bore, wood is a mess with numerous splices and repairs to wrist, left side considerably sanded, front of handguard broken and missing with several long diagonal cracks. Has the appearance of a battlefield relic, but is functional and complete with attached spike-bayonet. No import-marks. PHOTO . . . $240.  C&R   SOLD

JAPANESE Model 99 Arisaka bolt-action long-rifle # 4805 (7.7x58) mfg. by Nagoya in 1939. Good to Very Good condition, with some original bluing (turning brown and freckled) remaining, bore is strong but not very bright. mismatched bolt, mum not ground but has been defaced by several diagonal knife-cuts. Rear sight lacking slider, no cleaning-rod. Wood has some thin cracks at wrist and has been extensively sanded. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . . $325.  C&R  

JAPANESE Model 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 6, # 44446 (7.7x58) mfg. by Nagoya Arsenal in c. 1943. Metal in excellent condition with some minor "freckling", full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright chrome-lined bore, all-matching numbers, mum has been ground. Rear-sight is ladder type without aircraft-wings, has  cleaning-rod, missing bolt for rear barrel-band. Wood appears to have possibly been lightly sanded and refinished sometime in the distant past. JAPANESE Model 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 21, # 79014 (7.7x58) mfg. by Kokura Arsenal in c. 1942. Metal in excellent condition, with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright chrome-lined bore, bolt (and all bolt-parts) stamped 180, mum has been ground. Rear-sight lacks its aircraft-wings, no cleaning-rod or monopod. Wood has some battle-damage to left side but has not been sanded or refinished. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . . $275.  C&R   

JAPANESE Model 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 22, # 45745 (7.7x58) mfg. by Kokura Arsenal in c. 1942. Metal in excellent condition, with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright chrome-lined bore, bolt (and all bolt-parts) stamped 272, mum has been ground. Rear-sight has aircraft-wings, no cleaning-rod or monopod. Wood has original finish with the expected scratches, dings and handling-marks, "ears" on front sight appear to have been ground off.. LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 1478 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National  in c.1955.  Very Good condition with 60-70% original finish, all-matching numbers, bore is mirror-bright and virtually perfect, AL stamped above chamber.  Walnut stock and handguard has original finish with the expected handling-marks. This rifle has been altered from its original configuration in that the "ears" that protect the front sight have been removed, and the rear sight has been ground to a V shape rather than a peep for some unknown reason. Only 6,000 FN-49 rifles were made for Luxembourg, and .30-06 is the most desirable chambering in this model rifle. PHOTO . . . $750.   C&R   SOLD

SIAMESE Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 12147 (8x50), mfg. by Koishikawa Arsenal  in 1903 with straight-bolt.  Very Good condition, with 80% original bluing on all parts, some light pitting and browning on small parts. Includes sliding action-cover but no cleaning rod. Bore is dark with strong rifling, walnut stock and handguard has many scratches, dings and handling-marks but has never been subjected to sandpaper or other refinishing. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 22415 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1903 with bent-bolt.  Near Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing on all parts (a few turning brown). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  All-matching numbers, Walnut stock & handguard has original finish with some subtle tigerstripe figure with some of the expected dings and handling-marks. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 109750 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1902 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (has older two-screw unit-type disk).  All-matching numbers (except cleaning-rod, as usual, and buttplate). Walnut stock & handguard has been sanded with a few scratches and handling-marks since. PHOTOS . . . $325.   C&R 

SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 447101 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1918 with straight-bolt.  Excellent condition, with 98% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.52/2).  All-matching numbers (bolt and all bolt-parts were originally stamped 100, the last digit overstamped with a 1 to match). Walnut stock & handguard looks as if it was lightly sanded long ago, with few marks since. Rear receiver bridge has been drilled and tapped for receiver sight that is no longer present. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 502428 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1922 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Finn army marking [SA] on left side of receiver, three FSR crowns burned into left side of stock. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/1).  All-matching numbers (cleaning-rod not numbered). Wood has a few minor dings and handling-marks and a couple gouges on right side of handguard. PHOTOS . . . $375.   C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 507043 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1923 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/3).  All-matching numbers (cleaning-rod not numbered). Wood has a few minor dings and handling-marks. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 1156160 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in September, 1918. Excellent condition with 95% or better blued (not Parkerized)  finish on metal and an extremely bright and strong bore.
