Has very strong markings and a mirror- bright bore. All-matching numbers (including stock and cleaning-rod). CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # E10044 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1956. A Very Good PLUS example, has most finish intact and a decent strong bore. ITALIAN Model 41 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action infantry rifle # N3127 (6.5x52) mfg. by Terni in 1941. Excellent, with 95% bluing and a strong (if not particularly bright) bore. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine Series 4, # 65416 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1936. Excellent condition with full original bluing and intact mum. Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered 776, action-cover numbered 040. This type has ladder V-sight, includes cleaning-rod and somewhat crusty action-cover. Strong but not very bright bore, wood has no doubt original finish with very few handling-marks. No import-marks. PHOTO . . . $525. C&R
JAPANESE Type 44 Arisaka bolt-action carbine Series 2, # 2173 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1915. Near Excellent condition with virtually all original finish remaining. All-matching numbers, bolt-handle bent downwards and slightly swept back. This rifle has last type bayonet housing with two drain-holes at bottom of forend. Strong and surprisingly bright bore, some apparent battle-damage resulting in the loss of the rear-sight ladder (rear-sight open-notch still intact and usable) and a small through and through hole in forend caused by shrapnel. Similar shrapnel-damage on right side filled-in with wood putty long ago. Functional and complete with attached spike-bayonet. No import-marks. PHOTO . . . $650. C&R
JAPANESE Model 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle series 3, # 10743 (7.7x58) mfg. by Nagoya Arsenal in c. 1943. Metal in near excellent condition with some minor "freckling", mostly full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright chrome-lined bore. Bolt (and all bolt-parts) numbered 785, mum has been ground. Rear-sight is ladder type without aircraft-wings, lacks cleaning-rod and monopod.
