ARGENTINE Model 1927 Systema Colt semiautomatic pistol; # 72851 (.45 ACP), mfg. at F.M. for the Argentine National Security Force in the mid 1930's  Excellent condition, with very little external wear on the 90% or better Parkerized finish.  Bore is a little worn but mirror-bright. All matching numbers (barrel is an unnumbered replacement), all markings clear with bold Argentine crest and GENDARMERIA NACIONAL on right side of slide. Includes one 7-round magazine (all Colt 1911 magazines will function in this pistol). This is a faithful copy of the Colt 1911, all parts interchangeable.  They are both very reliable and accurate. CHILEAN Model 1912-61 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # A3081 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Steyr in 1912.  Very Good condition, with 40% or so fading bluing, receiver "in the white" (as is proper).  All matching numbers except bolt and magazine floorplate (numbered 084), has strong Chilean crest above chamber. Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong, walnut stock has original finish with considerable dings, dents and other handling-marks but is sound. Includes cleaning-rod and original sling. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 55802 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1942.  Good condition with very little bluing remaining and a mostly-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 237078 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1943.  Very Good condition with much bluing remaining and a strong mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob and magazine-floorplate (both stamped 7078), some pitting on exterior of receiver, includes cleaning-rod. FRENCH Model 1892 Berthier bolt-action carbine # G79701 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by St. Ettienne in 1895.  Very Good condition, bore is strong and bright with N-marked barrel and receiver. GERMAN Gewehr 88/15 Commission bolt-action rifle # 3306e (8x57J) mfg. by Danzig in 1891.  Very Good or better condition, most bluing strong (receiver "in the white", as is proper). A Turkish rework with no matching numbers. Bore is S-marked, extremely bright and very strong.  Walnut stock has some tiger-striped figure and very few contact-marks from actual usage but no cracks and is sound. Both barrel bands have crossed-through unit markings, includes cleaning rod. Completely functional, I would not hesitate to shoot this. PHOTOS . . . $325.   Antique, no FFL required    SOLD

NORWEGIAN Model 98k rifle re-barrelled to .30-06 by the Norwegian Army after WWII # 51112.  Very Good condition, made by Sauer & Son (code 147) in 1939 with all original markings intact and very strong.  Original serial number (1608o) lined-out by the Norwegians, with their new serial # (as well as the word HAER, Norwegian for Army) added to a flat ground into the left side of the receiver.  The entire rifle except for the bolt matches the original serial number (even the action-screws, which are also have their own WaffenAmpts).  Bolt handle stamped 112, other bolt parts mismatched. Nicely figured hardwood stock with visible early cartouches on right side with nice 1" oval arsenal-repair above them. Bluing is 70% or better, the barrel mint, proper cleaning-rod and front sight-hood present. Rear barrel-band reversed for some unknown reason.  PHOTO  . . . . $475.  C&R    SOLD

PERSIAN Model 98/29 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # C03622 (8x57), mfg. by Brno in 1931 (A.H. 1309).  Very Good condition, actually better but metal has a blotchy poorly-done Parkerized finish. Has a near-perfect mirror-bright bore and all-matching numbers, all markings clean with a magnificent lion-crest above chamber. Walnut stock has a few handling-marks and scuffs with a couple arsenal or armory stamps. PHOTOS . . . $325.  C&R    

PORTUGUESE  Model 904/39  Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle # B5598 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904.   Very Good condition with all-matching numbers and bold royal crest above chamber.  Original (browning) finish with a nice mirror-bright bore, includes cleaning-rod.  Tigerstriped walnut stock has original finish. Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, these rifles were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII and have one of the smoothest actions of any military rifle.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R     SOLD

SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 25701 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1904 with bent-bolt.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore, with the usual muzzle-extension.  All matching numbers (all parts stamped 701). Three-leaf "express" type flip-up rear sight with 200, 300 & 400 meter settings. Lovely walnut stock has original finish with very few handling-marks.  Includes sling-buckle and sling. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 36304 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1904 with bent-bolt.  Excellent condition, with 90% or better original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore, the usual muzzle-extension appears to have been removed.  All matching numbers (all parts stamped 304 except firing-pin, bolt-shroud and safety, which are all numbered 797). Lovely walnut stock has original finish with very few handling-marks, handguard has tiger-striped figure.  Includes sling-buckle and sling. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 145902 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1904 with straight bolt and non-threaded muzzle.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% or better bluing on all parts. Has strong markings and a bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/0).  All-matching numbers (unnumbered cleaning rod). SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 671987 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna  in 1943 with bent bolt and threaded muzzle (with metal muzzle-cap). Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  Mostly matching numbers (several bolt parts etched to match, front band numbered 967). T-type rear sight is calibrated for 150-600 meters. SWISS Model K31 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 532755 (7.5x55) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1934. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3063055 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August 1944.  Excellent condition with 95% or better metal finish, 8-47 dated barrel with a strong, mirror- bright bore. U.S.A. Ranger 101.16 semiautomatic rifle (.22 LR) mfg. by Savage / Stevens for Sears-Roebuck in 1937.  No serial number. Excellent condition with 95% or better metal finish.  This is a tube-fed semiautomatic rifle that holds 16 rounds of .22 Long Rifle ammunition and will also function as a single shot (for .22 Short and .22 Long ammo) by pushing in the bolt handle. These rifles have been touted as a military trainer as it has a military look but they actually had very little to no military history. This rifle is unusual in that it has a Buffington rear sight from a Trapdoor Springfield. Not import-marked, very attractive.   PHOTOS . . . $425.   C&R    SOLD

YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48A Mauser bolt-action rifle # 17947 (8x57) mfg. by Yugoslavian arsenals in the early 1950's.  Excellent condition, with nearly all original bluing remaining. Bold commie Yugo "torch" crest atop chamber. All matching numbers with stamped triggerguard and magazine-floorplate. The bore is strong and mirror-bright.
