ALBANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 0388-77 (7.62x39) mfg. at Umgramsh military arms factory in 1977 (one of only 660 manufactured in that year).  Excellent, 95% or better bluing on metal, varnish on wood scuffed. All-matching numbers except bolt-carrier (#02540) with a near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore. AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # 68074 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1917 with original 1917 dated barrel.  Very Good condition with dark bore having strong rifling. All matching numbers (bolt not numbered), receiver has shield-logo, stamp of 2nd Military District atop receiver.  Stock has quite a few handling-marks but has legible cartouches on right side. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher carbine # 2576 (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr before WWI. Near Excellent, arsenal-refinished to as-new condition with most bluing (some small areas of external rust), with sharp bright bore. Number on bolt etched to match receiver and barrel, buttstock is quite nice for these and has very few handling marks (arsenal repairs to handguard and heel of butt as shown in photo).  Extremely attractive. BRAZILIAN Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 4982 (7x57mm) mfg. by DWM in 1908. Very Good condition, with 70% bluing, gorgeous mirror-bore and all-matching numbers.  This has turned-down bolt with carbine rear-sight, Brazilian-crest above chamber and includes correct spring-loaded muzzle-cap. Wood has dings from normal handling, but has not been refinished. Includes cleaning-rod and rear sling-swivel.  PHOTOS . . . . $250.  C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 71658 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1944, Finn ownership marking [SA] stamped atop barrel-shank, built on Russian-made round receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 95% bluing, gorgeous mirror-bore and non-matching bolt.  Has one-piece Finn stock (with lovely figure) and hooded-post front sight.  Includes cleaning-rod and leather sling held on by leather straps.  PHOTOS . . . . $225.  C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 82741 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1935 on uncertain hex-receiver. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing, gorgeous mirror-bore and matching bolt.  Beautifully-figured three-piece wartime birch stock with strong crossed-cannon cartouche on r. side, almost no handling-marks, rear band-screw and attachment a homemade affair. FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 12039 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by S.I.G. on uncertain date hex-receiver. Very Good overall condition, with 70% bluing (less on receiver), sharp bright bore (counterbored at muzzle) and matching bolt. Struck-out Civil Guard number S71897 stamped on right side of barrel-shank.  One-piece birch stock with faint Civil-guard numbers stamped on right side, many scuffs and dings from normal handling, includes cleaning-rod.  PHOTOS . . . . $225.  C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 72840 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by SAKO in 1940 on 1894-dated Sestroryetsk receiver. Excellent condition, with 90% bluing, gorgeous mirror-bore and mismatched (but Finned) bolt.  Two-piece wartime birch stock with strong 1940-dated SAKO cartouche on right side, original varnish with very few marks from actual use. GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action Mauser rifle # 2316a (8mm) mfg. by C.E. Sauer & Son (code S/147) in 1937.  Excellent-PLUS condition, a Russian rework with force-matched parts (bolt not matching), all Nazi markings (Weimar-style eagles with folded wings) intact.  Excellent mirror-bore, solid Walnut stock with cupped-buttplate (Luftwaffe cartouches on stock very sharp), repro cleaning-rod and sling, slight pitting on receiver and bolt (likely from human blood), no sight-hood. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 47445c (8mm) mfg. at Brno (code dot) in 1943.  A mismatched not-import marked example in Very Good condition with very thin bluing (most of it browned) but a surprisingly mirror-bright bore. Eagle/swastika on left side of receiver intact, has stamped small parts. Wood has thin crack in lamination at tang, includes locking-screws and cleaning-rod but no front sight-hood. Bore is somewhat bright and strong, small intact Nazi eagles on receiver and barrel-shank. Front band is stamped, all other parts milled. ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Truppe Speciale carbine # H7429 (6.5x52) mfg. by Brescia in 1912. Good condition, with very little original bluing remaining but bright and strong bore, adjustable rear sight. Buttstock has sling-swivels on both the bottom and left side, wood has been renumbered to match but retains original finish, repaired cracks in handguard. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action Truppe Speciale carbine # 3799 (8x57) mfg. by Terni in 1941. Metal in excellent condition, with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.9, top of receiver stamped with large S.  Buttstock is beat-up but serviceable, some loss of wood on front right side of  handguard. RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant EX PEM SNIPER bolt-action rifle # XL498 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula arsenal in 1938 with round high-wall receiver and C(Pi) stamped on barrel-shank.  Overall Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing on metal and really nice, bright and strong bore.  An arsenal-refurb with all matching numbers and straight bolt. Note:   The PEM sniper rifle was adopted in 1937 and was equipped with a long side-mount that affixed to the left side of the receiver with two screws, only one of which is visible when the bolt is open or withdrawn, and the screw-holes have now been filled-in. This is the type of rifle Vassily Zaitzev actually used in Stalingrad during WWII (rather than the PU sniper seen in "Enemy At The Gates"). RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant EX PEM SNIPER bolt-action rifle # IB597 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula arsenal in 1940 with round high-wall receiver and C(Pi) stamped on barrel-shank.  Overall Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing on metal and really nice, bright and strong bore.  Matching straight bolt (numbers only), the buttplate and magazine-floorplate have been restamped to match the last three numbers of the receiver.
