BRITISH Enfield No.2 Mk.1** revolver # C5960 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Albion Motors in 1943. Excellent condition, with full original phosphate finish, very "tight" action and a minty brilliant bore. All-matching numbers, a very nice example with grooved-plastic grips having a brass disc on right side. Includes worn but sound Canadian-marked web-holster with brass cleaning-rod. BRITISH Webley Mark IV revolver # 101461 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Webley & Scott Ltd. in 1945. Excellent condition, with 95+% original bluing, WAR FINISH stamped on right side of frame, very "tight" action (when trigger is pulled) and a strong and brilliant bore. CANADIAN Model 35 Mark 1* Browning "High-Power" semiautomatic pistol # 4CH4705 (9mm) mfg. by Inglis in 1945 with wooden shoulder-stock / holster. Excellent condition with virtually no wear on phosphate-finish, tangent rear-sight graduated from 50-500 meters. Bore is bright and strong with microscopic pitting, includes one Inglis-made 13-round magazine in excellent condition. Wooden holster/stock marked S.A. CZECH Model CZ-38 semiautomatic pistol # 277091 (.380 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice under Nazi Occupation in 1939 . Near Excellent with all-matching numbers and some minor holster-wear and scuffing at sharp corners. Bore is mirror-perfect, markings are very sharp, and dark-brown bakelite grips are not chipped. This pistol was assimilated into German inventory as the Pistolen 39 (t) and was reportedly a favorite of the Luftwaffe. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $395. C&R SOLD
FRENCH Model 1935A semiautomatic pistol (7.65 French Longue) #F 5260A mfg. in the late 1940's by Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mecaniques. GERMAN Model 1896 "Broomhandle" semiautomatic pistol # 221673 (7.63 Mauser) mfg. at Mauser in c.1914. A beautifully-refinished example with new springs, etc, in excellent-plus condition with really great bluing on all parts that should be blued and replacement grooved walnut grips. Pistol is functional and all parts fit extremely well and do not appear worn, pistol had no external pitting before being reworked, all visible numbers are matching. Bore has not been re-sleeved and though it has some pitting it also has quite strong rifling and is doubtless a really good shooter. Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $750. C&R SOLD
GERMAN Model 37M Femaru semiautomatic pistol # 64942 (.32 ACP), mfg. by Budapest arsenal (code jhv) in 1943. Excellent-PLUS condition, with virtually NO WEAR at all and 100% original bluing throughout. All-matching numbers (including finger-grip magazine). Bore is near-perfect and mirror-bright. RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant single-action revolver # 162690 (7.62x38R Nagant), an early-imperial example mfg. by Tula in 1908. All-matching numbers, a non-rearsenaled example in Very Good condition with around 80% intact original bluing and scattered freckling-type patina. Finely-checkered walnut grips and grip-panels, initials WC carved in left grip and lightly scratched (barely visible) on right side of frame. RUSSIAN Model 1895 Nagant revolver # SP331 (7.62x38R Nagant), mfg. by Tula in 1940. All-matching numbers, a non-rearsenaled example in Very Good condition with around 70% intact original bluing with some holster-wear. Bore is decent with some wear but quite bright. SPANISH Model 600/43 semiautomatic pistol # 19625 (9mm Parabellum), mfg. by Astra in 1944. Excellent, all-matching numbers with at least 95% original bluing (with full "fire-blue" on the extractor) and a near-perfect mirror-bore. This is from the Nazi "second contract" which never reached Germany until after the war, where they were put into active police service. Three 8+1 round magazines, with very nice checkered-walnut grips and a black full-flap holster with inked owners-marks on inside of flap. A lovely example, not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $425. CANADIAN No.4 Mk.1*/3 Enfield bolt-action rifle # 50L7710 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch in 1943, refurbished at Fazakerly in 1952 to No.4 Mk.2 standards. Excellent-plus, essentially UNISSUED since rework with 100% stoving and a perfect, mirror-bore. All-matching numbers including magazine, bolt has 1-marked bolt-head. CZECH Model VZ-52 semiautomatic rifle # R63407 (7.62x45), mfg. in 1956 at Brno. Near Excellent condition, with most remaining exterior finish intact except on exposed part of barrel and an amazingly mirror-bright bore. Wood has original finish, sound but with considerable handling-marks. Handguard is not matching but fits and functions quite nicely. PHOTOS . . . $275. C&R SOLD
DANISH M1-D Garand semiautomatic SNIPER rifle # 3205689 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in October 1944. An excellent-condition sniper rifle as loaned to Denmark in the early-1950's utilizing a 6-52 SA barrel and original Hart-mfg. cone- type flash-hider. All U.S. made parts with original finish, not rearsenaled in any way. Both butt-stock and sighting-decal inside stock-channel numbered to receiver. Birch buttstock with walnut handguards is in near-perfect original condition with only a few handling-marks. Bore is sound and bright with some microscopic pitting from use (but still shoots great). M84 scope # 379 has Danish proofs stamped on side and great optics with rubber eyepiece. Leather cheek-pad laced to stock. Rare, I can count all of the true Danish-issued M1-D Garand snipers I have ever seen offered for sale on one hand with several fingers left over. Definitely not a put-together sniper. FRENCH Model 1949/56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # H25213 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1983. Excellent, full dark parkerized finish, all matching numbers (except engraved # on bolt, as usual) and a near-perfect mirror-bright bore. Virtually no handling marks on the wood or metal, includes FIVE 10-round magazines, rubber #1 buttplate, bayonet & scabbard, night-sights and other numerous accessories (pouches, cleaning-kit, spare springs, tools, etc,) still sealed in arsenal poly-bag and in like-new condition. GERMANY Model Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 1681i (8x57) mfg. by Spandau in 1917, refurbish and issued to Spain for use during the Spanish Civil War. Excellent, with 95% original bluing and really sharp intact Weimar markings. Rear sight is K-marked (1934) as is barrel. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves, all parts mismatched (as usual), bolt correct for this rifle and headspaces properly. Very nice-looking walnut stock with some figured grain with a few scrapes and scratches from normal handling, large "flaming-bomb" cartouche containing MP 8 on right side along with regular Weimar cartouches. Includes correct short-bayonet (mfg. by the Heller Brothers and dated 1917 also) in VG+ condition with correct leather frog, and Chinese brass muzzle-cap. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $475. C&R
GERMANY Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 958a (8x57) mfg. by Mauser in 1934 (code S/42K). Excellent, a Russian-capture with 100% bluing and really sharp semi-bright bore. Intact Weimar-type eagles and early proofs. All-matching electropenciled numbers on most parts except for solid tigerstripe-walnut heavily-cartouched buttstock, which has been stripped of its shellac and is gorgeous. PHOTOS . . . $375. GERMANY Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 4707 (8x57) mfg. by Mauser in 1940 (code 42) Excellent, a Russian-capture with 100% bluing and really sharp semi-bright bore. Intact swastika-type eagles, receiver renumbered by importer from number stamped atop receiver by Russians, no number on barrel. All-matching electropenciled numbers except for laminated buttstock, which has been stripped of its shellac and left "raw". PHOTOS . . . $225. C&R
ITALIAN BM62 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 001977 (7.62 NATO) mfg. by Beretta in 1962-4. A totally-minty example rifle with all-matching parts, 100% parkerized finish, perfect bore, near-flawless wood. RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 57476 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1934. Very Good-PLUS condition with 90% external blue, a mostly nice bright bore and matching bolt-body. [SA] Finn property-marked, with new two-piece buttstock and handguard having only a few small dings and a arsenal-repair at bottom, tapped for Finn sling-swivels at front. Includes cleaning-rod. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 21679 (6.5x55), mfg. by Mauser in 1899. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing. Has a very sharp mirror-bright bore (bore-disc indicating 6.50/3). SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3518 (6.5x55), mfg. by Mauser in 1900. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing. Has a very sharp mirror-bright bore. Rear part of receiver drilled and tapped for target-sight. Only bolt, all bolt-parts, rear-sight and buttplate matching receiver. SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull rifle # 814309 (7.5x55 Swiss) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1944. Very good, with 90+% bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. All-matching stamped numbers including the magazine. Buttstock has some handling-marks but retains it's original finish. The trigger, as usual for these, is like glass. Includes sling and muzzle-cap (not shown). The red-tape on the forend attests to this rifle having been entered in an official Swiss "schutzenfest" or shooting-competition in the recent-past.
