PISTOLS

BRITISH  Mark I revolver #20432 (back of cylinder shaved to chamber .45 ACP in half-moon clips) mfg. by Webley in 1889 with round-butt and 4" barrel.  Excellent condition with full "stoving" (black-painted finish, some nicks and scratches apparent from use and handling). All-matching numbers with clear markings. Bore is excellent and quite bright with a little frost in the grooves and virtually no pitting.  Action is very tight with trigger-pulled.  As this is a black-powder arm only light .45 ACP target-loads are recommended for shooting.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $575.   Antique, no FFL required

BRITISH Enfield No.2 Mk.1** revolver #U2605 (.38 S&W) mfg. by Enfield  in 1942. Excellent condition, with 98% original "stoving", very "tight" action and a minty brilliant bore. All-matching numbers, an exceptional example with walnut  grips and a "ribbed" backstrap. Not import-marked, small ENGLAND stamped on left side of frame, includes correct and excellent 1943-dated web-holster.  PHOTOS . . . $275. C&R    SOLD

CZECH Model CZ-24 semiautomatic pistol #27474 (.380 ACP) mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka, Prague in 1926. Very Good condition with 60% original fading blue (some holster-wear on sides of slide) and bold markings. All-matching numbers, original smooth walnut one-piece grip with some nice fiddleback figure in the wood. Unit-marked 31 P 115 on front-strap. Bore is frosted but very strong, usual Mod.27 magazine. Not import-marked. The army-issue CZ24 was manufactured until 1939, and can be distinguished from the more common CZ27 by the diagonal rather than vertical grooves in the slide.   PHOTOS . . . $275.  C&R   SOLD

CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #394259 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka AG, Strakonice in mid 1943. Excellent condition with 95% original blue and most "straw" color remaining on trigger.  All-matching numbers, Nazi-marked with eagle and WaA76 on right frame and eagle holding Swastika on top-rail. Original dark-brown bakelite grips with chip missing from upper-right side (as usual).  Bore is excellent and very bright and strong. Not import-marked.   PHOTOS . . . $250.  C&R  

CZECH Model CZ-38 semiautomatic pistol #286950 (.380 ACP) mfg. at Ceska Zbrojovka, Strakonice under Nazi Occupation in 1939 .  Very Good condition with all-matching numbers, some holster-wear and slight pitting at sides from being "holstered wet". Bore is excellent, markings are very sharp, and dark-brown bakelite grips are not chipped (though the left grip-screw is missing). This pistol was assimilated into German inventory as the Pistolen 39 (t) and was reportedly a favorite of the Luftwaffe.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $350.   C&R   

FRENCH Model 1892 Lebel revolver #G66459 (8mm Lebel), mfg. at St. Etienne in 1901.  A very handsome example in excellent condition, with at least 98% original bluing (slight wear only at edges and a couple scratches from handling) and almost intact "straw" on case-hardened parts. JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, #35769 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Nambu / Chuo Kogyo in September, 1937  (Showa 12.9) with small trigger-guard. All-matching numbers including magazine, EXCELLENT condition with slightly grainy but strong bore and 95% bluing (some insignificant surface-pitting on right side from being "holstered wet"). All-matching numbers except magazine (021), EXCELLENT condition with slightly grainy but strong bore and 98% bluing (some insignificant surface-pitting on right side from storage). JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic "last ditch" pistol, Series 2, #67413 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Toriimatsu factory of Nagoya Arsenal in January, 1945  (Showa 20.1) with large trigger-guard and slab-sided grips, coarsely-knurled round cocking-knob, external metal roughly-milled and finished. All-matching numbers except magazine (#158, but of the correct blued type), EXCELLENT condition with superb mirror-bore and 98% bluing with a few handling-marks, lanyard-loop broken off at back off frame. ARGENTINA Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #3873 (7.62 NATO) mfg. by Fabrique National  in c.1955.  Excellent condition with 99%-100% light gray Parkerizing on external metal, all-matching numbers, bore is mirror-bright and virtually perfect.  Argentine crest is stamped above chamber and is bold as can be, includes cut-down 10-round magazine (since the original 20-round mags seem to be non-importable). Very attractive walnut has been lightly refinished but markings still clear. . . $700.   C&R  SOLD

AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher long-rifle #2253A (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917.  Good condition, not arsenal-refinished with maybe 40-50% thinning blue and sharp but slightly pitted bore. No matching numbers, Beech stock has some dings and digs, handguard is cracked with two dovetailed-repairs missing. Not import-marked, a decent "shooter-quality" M95 long-rifle. . . $125. C&R   SOLD

BRAZILIAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action long rifle #4443 (7x57) mfg. by Mauser in 1936UNISSUED with 100% bluing and all-matching numbers. Perfect mirror-bore and fantastic detailed Brazilian crest. The very lovely walnut stock has only one minor scuff but is otherwise AS-NEW with gorgeous dark streaks in the grain. Complete with muzzle-cap, original leather sling, and matching-numbered bayonet with metal scabbard..  Not import-marked, simply astonishingly beautiful with Mauser BANNER on rear of receiver. . . $1400.   C&R  

CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle #G63223 (7.62x45) mfg. by Ceska Zbrovka in 1956 (code she). This rifle has seen some actual use, with about 90% of external finish remaining.  Bore is surprisingly razor-sharp and mirror-bright (they are usually cruddy on these) and rifle is totally functional. Complete including front sight-hood (which seldom is present) and one 10-round magazine (more are available for purchase). Wood retains its original finish and is a bit beat-up but there are no cracks, IV (arabic numerals for 17) painted in white on right side of buttstock. . . $275. C&R  SOLD

EGYPTIAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 35985 (8x57), mfg. in the mid-1950's by Fabrique National in Belgium. An all-original example with brass unit-disk in stock and brass buttplate. Near excellent overall with nearly full original blued finish, action-cover does not match receiver.  Near excellent mirror bore, walnut stock has original finish with considerable handling marks. Incredibly accurate and 100% functional. . . $375. C&R    SOLD

ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle #7970 (7.62 NATO) mfg. by Ceska Zbrovka in the mid-1930's with gorgeous lion-crest above chamber.  UNISSUED with 100% bluing and bold markings. Perfect mirror-bore with fantastically- detailed crest. Bolt is from a 98k and is not matching. Virtually flawless condition Beech buttstock and handguard with no handling-marks. Has stamped "Winter" trigger-guard, barrel and buttplate stamped with Hebrew characters.  Includes front sight-hood and correct Israeli leather sling but no cleaning-rod (wood is not routed for one). LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #1175 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National  in c.1955.  Near Excellent condition with 90%  original black-enamel finish, all-matching numbers, bore is mirror-bright and virtually perfect, AL stamped above chamber.  Very attractive walnut stock with subtle tiger-striped fiddleback pattern with original finish and thus some handling-marks from its experiences over the last nearly half-century.  Only 6,000 FN-49 rifles were made for Luxembourg, and .30-06 is the most desirable chambering in this model rifle. . . $750.   C&R  SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #1102016 (7.62x54R), mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915.  Very Good condition, with around 70% thinning bluing throughout.  A Finn rework, barrel-shank stamped [SA]. Matching-bolt and buttplate, bore is a little rough but strong and bright. One-piece Russian buttstock has been refinished long ago with only a couple scuffs since. Includes cleaning-rod and wire sling-swivels with narrow canvas Finn sling. . . $125.   C&R    SOLD

RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle #BK378 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula  in 1941.   A Soviet rework in near-perfect condition, with 100% bluing on metal and a strong and bright bore, all-matching numbers except for magazine.  Has scope-rails and a four-slot muzzle-break.  Includes cleaning-rod and unknown leather sling with one dog-collar. Buttstock is from 1945-dated Tula AVT Naval Infantry model rifle, which has sling-slots in the butt instead of swivels. Wood has a few very minor handling-marks and a couple small inspection-stamps in the finish. A rare variation to find.  . . $575.   C&R   SOLD

RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle #SHV2759 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk  in 1941.   A Soviet rework in near-perfect condition, with 100% bluing on metal and a strong and bright bore, all-matching numbers except for magazine.  Has scope-rails and a twelve-slot muzzle-break.  Includes cleaning-rod, buttstock is quite nice with small rectangular arsenal-patch on left forend along with minor handling-marks and a couple small inspection-stamps in the finish. . . $525.   C&R   SOLD

RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle #AM798 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk  in 1941.   A Finn-marked rifle in EXCELLENT condition, with 95% bluing on metal and a strong bright bore, matching bolt-carrier but nothing else. Has scope-rails and a twelve-slot muzzle-break.  Includes cleaning-rod, buttstock is quite nicely figured with two diagonal scratches on left side and intact Soviet cartouche on right side. SWEDISH  Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 183980 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1906.  Excellent condition, with 98% bluing, 6.49/1 bore disk, bore is mirror-bright and very strong.  Only bolt and bolt-parts match number on receiver (firing-pin is an unnumbered replacement), really lovely walnut stock (with subtle tiger-striped figure with slightly darker handguard.  Wood has a few minor handling marks and dings. . . $210.    C&R 

SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle #20535 (6.5x55) mfg. by CARL GUSTAF in 1943. Excellent condition, with 95+% bluing.  Near-perfect mirror-bore with bore-disk stamped 6.49/1. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action rifle #795943 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in May, 1918.  Near Excellent arsenal-rework with nearly full gray-green parkerized surfaces USMC on top of  bolt-handle. Bore is perfect and mirror-bright, stock is almost ding-free with 3GM-K cartouche in rectangular box one left side. Barrel is original E 5-18 marked, no import-marks. . . $575.   C&R    SOLD

U.S.A. M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle #1841434 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August, 1943.  A decent "Danish" Garand with 9-49 dated SA barrel, WRA bolt, and mixed Italian and Springfield parts.  Near excellent condition overall, with at least 95% uniform dark-gray Parkerizing.  Breda Beech buttstock has quite a few dings and nicks from handling, but is otherwise sound. VENEZUELAN Model 24/30 Mauser bolt-action short rifle #29431 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in the mid-1930'sUNISSUED with 100% bluing and all-matching numbers (receiver is "in the white", as is proper for these). Perfect mirror-bore with a 23.19" barrel and fantastic detailed crest. The very lovely walnut stock has several compressions (from adjacent rifles) and a couple other very minor scuffs from handling, otherwise it is perfect.  Complete with muzzle-cap and original leather sling.  Not import-marked, scarce this nice. . . $800.   C&R  

98K BAYONETS

GERMAN Model 98k bayonet #994q mfg. by Coppell G.m.b.H. (undated).  Excellent with new-looking wood grips and 100% bluing.  Presumably Yugo number stamped 2052 stamped on pommel. scabbard marked S148K and numbered 2566 at top, another (likely Yugo) number 7771 stamped atop tang.  Extremely attractive, only slight wear to scabbard and none to bayonet, old grease on blade.  PHOTO . . . $125.    

GERMAN Model 98k bayonet #9149m marked asw 44. Good with signs of actual use, scabbard marked 43 cqh  and numbered 7092a at top.  A few nicks in blade and slight dents in scabbard, old grease on blade.  PHOTO . . . $35.
