SPANISH Model JO. LO. AR semiautomatic pistol # 5169 (9mm Largo), mfg. in Eibar in 1928. Very Good condition (these are usually found very worn externally), with most original finish remaining. Excellent mirror-bright bore (several parts such as hammer, trigger, cocking-lever and extractor-spring in the "white"). This unique pistol-design has several groundbreaking features, including the very first tip-up barrel for loading the chamber, and an awkward-looking but effective swinging-bar attached to the right side of the slide to allow one to cock the pistol one-handed. LUXEMBOURG Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 4944 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1955. Walnut stock and handguard has likely been refinished in the not too distant. Only 6,000 FN-49 rifles were made for Luxembourg, and .30-06 is the most desirable chambering in this model rifle. PORTUGUESE Model 1904 Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action rifle # 2493 (6.5x58 Verguiero) mfg. by DWM in 1904. Most of these rifles were slightly shortened and rechambered in 8mm Mauser caliber. . . this is one of the few that entered the U.S.A. in its original configuration. Very Good condition, with most original bluing intact and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore. Buttstock has D.L.G.L.M.1748 stamped on both sides (Direcção Militar Geral Lourenço Marques (General Military Directorate Lourenço Marques).
