Bolt-carrier and action cover not matching, else all-matching numbers with a near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore. ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action Engineer's carbine # B3071 (7.65x53) mfg. by Loewe in 1893.  Excellent condition, with 93% strong bluing. ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # N4237 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1912.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% strong bluing on all parts (receiver in the white as it should be) wear only evident from installation and removal of muzzle-cap (which is included). Crest above chamber very bold, all-matching numbers, bore is strong and mirror-bright. Missing cleaning-rod. BELGIAN Model 24/50 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 19575 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1952.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% or better original blued finish.  Bore virtually mirror-perfect, Crowned-B (for King Baudouin) with ABL and date 1952 atop receiver. All matching numbers, includes cleaning-rod. Walnut stock has original finish and only a few minor dings and handling-marks. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # F1577 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Good to Very Good condition, with 50% or better deep bluing.  Bolt not matching receiver, all other parts (including stock) matching. CHILEAN Model 1912-61 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # B859 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Steyr in 1912.  Very Good condition, with 40% or so fading bluing, receiver "in the white" (as is proper).  All matching numbers except magazine floorplate (numbered 41), has strong Chilean crest above chamber. Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong, walnut stock has original finish with considerable dings, dents and other handling-marks but is sound. Includes cleaning-rod. COLOMBIAN Model 1950 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # F21939 (.30-06) mfg. by R. FAMAGE in 1952.  Excellent overall condition with 95% Parkerized finish on all metal parts. Matching bolt, magazine-floorplate mismatched and slightly pitted, some pitting also at wood-line from the stock being salt-cured. Very strong mirror-bright bore, with faint Colombian crest above chamber. Walnut buttstock and handguard with some of the expected dings and handling-marks. Includes cleaning-rod and leather sling. FINN Model 24 "Lotta" Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 39240 (7.62x54R) stepped barrel mfg. by Böhler-Stahl in 1924 on a unknown hex receiver. Very Good or better condition with most bluing intact and  has a somewhat strong and bright bore (not counterbored at muzzle). There are two different serial numbers on the receiver, one on the barrel-shank, and another on the boly and none of them match each other. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # BA2534 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1939 with [SA] Finn property-mark on left side of barrel-shank. Good to Very Good condition with most bluing gone and has a strong and bright bore (not counterbored at muzzle). No matching numbers, includes cleaning-rod, one-piece Russian stock has a lot of dings and gouges, and even a crack at tang with initials JA carved on the right side. FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 17680 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by SIG on a scrubbed hexagonal receiver. Very Good or so condition with 50% original bluing. No matching numbers, bore is quite strong and bright, includes cleaning-rod. One-piece stock has the expected handling-marks and dings of a service weapon that has no doubt seen actual combat, handguard of much lighter color includes correct web-sling. ISRAELI Model 98k bolt-action Mauser rifle # 4244d (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Brno (factory code swp) in 1945.  A better than usual example in Very Good or better condition with a mirror-perfect bore. No matching serial numbers, has Kriegsmodell buttstock with no provision for cleaning rod and no bolt-disassembly disk. Has front sight-hood and some interesting painted markings on stock. ITALIAN Model 1870/87/16 Vetterli-Vitali  bolt-action infantry rifle # DA8676 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Torino in 1885.  Excellent condition, with full bluing on all metal parts. Bore is actually quite strong and mirror-bright and rifle appears to be functional. Wood is almost mar-free and has a small refurbishment cartouche on its right side, includes cleaning-rod as well as correct shortened Model 1870 bayonet & scabbard.   No import marks, not recommended for shooting.  PHOTOS . . . $375.   Antique, no FFL required   SOLD

ITALIAN Model 1891 Carcano bolt-action infantry rifle # OQ8693 (6.5x52 Carcano) mfg. by Torino in 1896.  Very Good condition, with full case-colors (these were not originally blued) on all metal parts. Bore is quite strong and mirror-bright and rifle is completely functional. Wood has been sanded and refinished with virtually no handling-marks since. Has arsenal repair to butt (likely why it was refinished). Includes cleaning-rod.   No import marks.  PHOTOS . . . $375.   Antique, no FFL required 

JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle # 1882577 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1920. Very Good condition with much original bluing, intact mum.  Bolt is mismatched (as are all other numbered parts). This type has ladder v-type rear-sight and retains its (unusual) cleaning-rod. Bore is strong but not very bright with distinct lands and grooves.  Buttstock has considerable expected handling-marks and dings (not a single inch clean), as well as very bold kanji translated as "military drill" deeply stamped on right side. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action cavalry carbine Series 4, # 38256 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1929. Excellent condition with close to full original bluing on upper metal, mum has been mostly ground but is partially visible, all matching numbers on all serial-numbered parts. Bore is very bright with sharp rifling. Cleaning-rod is present, as is correct leather sling in VG condition. Original unsanded finish on wood with a few of the expected handling-marks, original military configuration, no import-marks.  Rare with intact sling. PHOTO . . . $475.  C&R   

JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle Series 27, # 32410 (7.7x58) mfg. at Juki Kogyo in c.1945. Very Good condition with likely most of its original finish on external metal. Mum has been ground, however all matching numbers on all serial-numbered parts. Chrome-lined bore is very bright with sharp rifling. This is a "last ditch" example, with separate forend, no provision for cleaning-rod, wood buttplate, fixed rear sight, etcetera. PERUVIAN Model 1935 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 21164 (7.65x54) mfg. by Fabrique National  in mid-1930's. Very Good condition, with about 90% original blue, all matching numbers (even the wood), with a strong somewhat bright bore and bent-bolt with flat checkered bottom. Muzzle has been nicely crowned. Fair to Good condition with basically zero remaining bluing and has a strong and somewhat bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). RUSSIAN Model 38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 3Y6827 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1942. Excellent rearsenaled condition with 100% or better bluing on all metal parts, bore is a bit dark but has *NOT* been counterbored at muzzle. All matching Russian serial numbers (numbers all lack letter prefixes). Buttstock has no groove for bayonet and a few handling-marks. No cleaning-rod. PHOTOS . . . $175.    C&R    SOLD

RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # RV332 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1951.   Excellent condition with nearly bluing (blade-bayonet, bolt and bolt-carrier hard-chromed), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Shellacked laminated buttstock with numbers matching everywhere (no cross-outs or line-throughs), magazine-floorplate bears another number.  Wood has a couple minor handling-marks and scuffs on both sides, but is very attractive. SPANISH Model 1916 Mauser bolt-action short rifle, first variation (with lange "rollercoaster" rear sight) # N6556 (7x57), mfg. by Oviedo  in 1926.  Very Good condition, with 70% fading bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a frosted bore with strong rifling. Triggerguard and magazine-floorplate matching receiver, bolt mismatched but of the correct type with acceptable headspace. Walnut stock and handguard looks to have been sanded and refinished long ago, includes original leather sling. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action TARGET rifle # 177700 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1906 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle, fitted with SODERIN aperture sight.  Near Excellent condition, with 80% or better original bluing on all large parts (barrel-bands, magazine floorplate and triggerguard a bit faded from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/1).  All-matching numbers except buttplate and magazine-floorplate. SWISS Model K31 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 540342 (7.5x55) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1935. Excellent condition with 90% or better bluing on all metal parts (magazine-floorplate and triggerguard slightly browned from carry), bore is very strong and mirror bright. All matching stamped numbers, buttstock is walnut and very attractive with very few handling-marks. Includes soldier's-tag under buttplate, correct sling and muzzle-cap. U.S.A. Model of 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 333862 (.30-06) mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in 1920, replacement barrel dated SA 10-42.  Near Excellent condition with 80% or better green-gray Parkerizing on all metal. A nice and scarce example with excellent and bright 4-groove bore. Bolt has no markings other than Rock Island punch-mark at bottom of handle root. Scant walnut stock has original finish with intact RIA / FK cartouche in rectangle on left side, buttplate has several intentional punches intended to increase traction. U.S.A. Model of 1917 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 99073 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in 1917 with unmarked replacement barrel. A WWII reworked example in Excellent condition with 95% or better Parkerized finish.  Bore is strong but has some crud in the grooves. W-marked buttstock has very few handling-marks, with 3GM-3 in rectangle cartouche on left side. Top of bolt stamped 1164430. Tiny import-mark at bottom of barrel, a very attractive example. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 24/47 Mauser bolt-action rifle # Z4185 (8x57) mfg. in 1947-1948.  Very Good condition with all-matching numbers (straight-bolt), strong quite-bright bore and all-matching numbers.  Most external bluing remains (except on barrel-bands) with decent walnut stock and handguard. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48 Mauser rifle # M89485 (8x57mm) mfg. by Factory 44 in the early 1950's. All-matching numbers including magazine and stock.  Excellent-Plus (literally unissued) condition with all original bluing remaining and a near-perfect mirror-bore, strong stamped Yugo crest above chamber, has bent bolt with flattened knob.  Buttstock and handguard is of teak and looks new.
