Scrubbed crest (as usual) with much fire-bluing on small parts, all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), bore is strong and mirror bright. Excellent-PLUS (literally UNISSUED) condition, with 100% strong bluing on all parts (receiver in the white as it should be). CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 22L8436 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1943. Excellent condition, with full blued finish, all-matching numbers (including stock) with a #1 marked bolt-head. 2-groove bore is mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), L-shaped rear-sight (calibrated for 300 or 600 meters). Walnut stock and grooved handguards are sound with virtually no dings or handling-marks and is quite attractive. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # G4339 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895. Excellent condition, with 95% original deep bluing on all metal parts. COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle # 5707-58 (.30-06), mfg. by Madsen in 1958. Excellent-PLUS (literally UNISSUED) condition, with 100% original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect. Stock has disc inset in the left side. a few very minor compressions on right side from handling but no apparent wear. Includes correct bayonet and scabbard in NEW condition as well as correct leather sling. Very Good, an original un-arsenaled example with most black-painted "stoving" intact on external metal and a shiny, bright and strong bore. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle # 742175 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1920. Fair to Good condition with much original bluing, intact mum. Bolt is mismatched. This type has ladder v-type rear-sight and is missing its cleaning-rod. Bore is dark and pitted with distinct lands and grooves, wood has the expected handling-marks and dings. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 5 # 69307 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1942. Excellent condition with full original bluing, all-matching numbers, intact mum. This type has ladder peep-sight with aircraft wings, includes cleaning-rod and action-cover and had no provision for monopod. Excellent chrome-lined mirror bore, wood has original finish and the expected handling-marks and compressions, some losses on right side of stock by receiver and a diagonal (repairable) crack on left side, no import-marks. PERSIAN Model 98/29 Mauser bolt-action rifle # C05479 (8x57), mfg. by Brno in 1931 (A.H. 1309). Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing, action-bolts have flawless "straw" coloring. PORTUGUESE Model 1886 Kropatschek bolt-action infantry rifle # HH545 (8x60R Kropatschek) mfg. by Steyr in 1886. Very Good condition with bright and strong bore. Receiver has full bluing, barrel and other metal parts browned from age, bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered F383. Completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original cleaning-rod. Wood has original finish with faint but legible 1886-dated Steyr cartouche on right side and royal cartouche of King Luis I (reigned 1861-1889) on left side, some of the inevitable handling-marks and dings acquired over the past 120 years. Near Excellent or better condition, with 90% original bluing on most parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/2).
