ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # L5861 (7.65x53) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Excellent condition, with 95% strong bluing. Scrubbed crest (as usual) with much fire-bluing on small parts, all-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), bore is strong and mirror bright. ARGENTINE Model 1909/47 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # 011813 (7.65x53) mfg. by F.M.A.P. (Rosario) in 1951.  An Argentine arsenal-rework in Excellent condition, with 100% bluing and black enamel on most parts. Crest above chamber very bold with EJERCITO ARGENTINO below. All-matching numbers, excellent mirror-bright bore. Dark local-wood stock has very few handling-marks (mostly compressions), handguard cracked. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $475.   C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.2 bolt-action rifle # A14052 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955.  Unissued, in perfect condition (was a "mummy-wrapped" example from a decade ago that was unwrapped and superficially cleaned of external cosmoline but barrel and action is still packed with it. Stock has one small compression on right side, else AS NEW.  All-matching numbers.  PHOTOS . . . $650.   C&R   SOLD

CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 22L8436 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1943.   Excellent condition, with full blued finish, all-matching numbers (including stock) with a #1 marked bolt-head.  2-groove bore is mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), L-shaped rear-sight (calibrated for 300 or 600 meters). Walnut stock and grooved handguards are sound with virtually no dings or handling-marks and is quite attractive.  New Zealand property-marked atop chamber, on left side of receiver, on bottom of magazine and atop bolt-handle.  PHOTOS . . . $450.   C&R   SOLD

CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # G4339 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Excellent condition, with 95% original deep bluing on all metal parts.   Chilean crest above chamber is very strong and clear.  All-matching numbers (including cleaning-rod).  Bore is exceptional and mirror-bright.  Lovely streaked walnut stock having clear 1895-dated Chilean cartouche has original finish with some handling-marks and come compressions on forend.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    Antique, no FFL required     SOLD

COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle # 5707-58 (.30-06),  mfg. by Madsen in 1958.   Excellent-PLUS  (literally UNISSUED) condition, with 100% original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect.  Stock has disc inset in the left side. a few very minor compressions on right side from handling but no apparent wear. Includes correct bayonet and scabbard in NEW condition as well as correct leather sling. This was the last military bolt-action designed for general use (complete with very effective muzzle-break and recoil-pad), not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $975.   Not C&R

FRENCH Model 1907-15 Berthier bolt-action infantry rifle # P81426 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Continsouza in June, 1917.  Very Good condition, N-marked chamber, all matching numbers including stock, bore is amazingly bright and strong, metal has some rust under the wood, quite a few handling-marks on stock but has original finish with clear Juin 1917 dated cartouche. FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # L13352 (7.5x54mm) mfg. by St. Ettienne in August 1946. Very Good, an original un-arsenaled example with most black-painted "stoving" intact on external metal and a shiny, bright and strong bore. FRENCH Model 1936-51 MAS bolt-action rifle # F23146 (7.5x54mm) mfg. by St. Ettienne around 1953 with integral grenade-launcher. Excellent-PLUS, arsenal refurbished condition with near 100% Parkerized finish on all metal and a nice wood stock with a small compression on handguard. Mirror-bright bore. ITALIAN Model 91 Mannlicher-Carcano Truppi-Speciale bolt-action carbine # I5332 (6.5x52) mfg. by Brescia in 1913. Very Good condition, bore is bright and strong, stock has FAT 47 cartouche and a couple initials and numbers carved in it from actual field use with a few scuffs and dings but no cracks or anything major.  PHOTOS . . . $275.   C&R   SOLD

JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle # 742175 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1920. Fair to Good condition with much original bluing, intact mum.  Bolt is mismatched. This type has ladder v-type rear-sight and is missing its cleaning-rod. Bore is dark and pitted with distinct lands and grooves, wood has the expected handling-marks and dings. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 5 # 69307 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1942. Excellent condition with full original bluing, all-matching numbers, intact mum.  This type has ladder peep-sight with aircraft wings, includes cleaning-rod and action-cover and had no provision for monopod. Excellent chrome-lined mirror bore, wood has original finish and the expected handling-marks and compressions, some losses on right side of stock by receiver and a diagonal (repairable) crack on left side, no import-marks. PERSIAN Model 98/29 Mauser bolt-action rifle # C05479 (8x57), mfg. by Brno in 1931 (A.H. 1309).  Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing, action-bolts have flawless "straw" coloring. Has perfect mirror-bright bore and all-matching numbers, all markings clean with a magnificent lion-crest above chamber. Gorgeous Tiger-striped Walnut stock has lovely original antique-furniture type finish with some compressions and scratches.  PHOTOS . . . $450.  C&R    

PORTUGUESE Model 1886 Kropatschek bolt-action infantry rifle # HH545 (8x60R Kropatschek) mfg. by Steyr in 1886.  Very Good condition with bright and strong bore. Receiver has full bluing, barrel and other metal parts browned from age, bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered F383. Completely functional with 8-shot tubular magazine and original cleaning-rod. Wood has original finish with faint but legible 1886-dated Steyr cartouche on right side and royal cartouche of King Luis I (reigned 1861-1889) on left side, some of the inevitable handling-marks and dings acquired over the past 120 years. RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # HI1472 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1954.   UNISSUED, a 100% arsenal-refurbished example with 100% blue (blade-bayonet, bolt and bolt-carrier hard-chromed), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Shellaced laminated buttstock with numbers matching everywhere (no cross-outs or line-throughs).  Wood has a couple minor handling-marks. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 47212 (6.5x55), mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser  in 1900 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Near Excellent or better condition, with 90% original bluing on most parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/2).  All-matching numbers except cleaning-rod (352). SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 379936 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1916 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.  Near Excellent condition, with full bluing on all parts (triggerguard and magazine floorplate faded and browned from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.53/3).  All matching numbers (except cleaning rod #231) with metal range-disk tacked on right side. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 606439 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941 with bent-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Good condition, with almost no remaining bluing. Has a bright and strong bore (bore-disk indicating 6.53/3). Early rear sight has 100 meter zero. All-matching numbers (a couple bolt parts electropenciled).  Beech stock & handguard seems to have its original finish, with quite a few handling-marks and scuffs. SWISS Model 1878 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 203489 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in c.1879. Excellent-PLUS condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). All original blued finish essentially as nice as these ever get. Bore is mirror-bright with very strong rifling. Wood is walnut with its original finish (cartouches clear) having virtually no handling-marks and dings. Includes cleaning-rod. SWISS Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 372004 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1914. TURKISH Model Gewehr 88/14 bolt-action Commission rifle # 8232k (8x57mm) mfg. by Spandau in 1892.  Very Good or better condition, much external metal browned. No matching numbers, bolt has Turk markings (but rifle does not), S-marked bore, with cleaning-rod. Excellent strong and extremely shiny bore.  Buttstock is original walnut with some evidence of actual use. Retains barrel-jacket. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 7101666 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory, Inc. in the mid-1980's.  New, UNISSUED with perfect uniform light-gray Parkerizing on metal and having a literally UNFIRED mirror-bore. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66A1 SKS semiautomatic rifle # F-128721 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1969.  Excellent Plus UNISSUED condition, still in arsenal grease with 100% bluing and all-matching numbers with integral grenade-launcher and night-sights. Wood is beech and looks new with very few handling-marks (a ding to the right rear of handguard and a two scuffs from adjacent rifles on left side).  Includes cleaning-rod.
