    AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # B99101 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941.  Excellent condition with full  original finish on external metal.      BRITISH No.1 Mk.III SMLE bolt-action rifle # H37313 (.303 British), mfg. by Birmingham Small Arms in 1918.  Near Excellent condition with nearly all oil-blacked finish on external metal. Bore is very bright and strong, bolt matching receiver but other parts mixed.  Retains windage-adjustable rear sight. Stock is extremely attractive with very few handling marks from actual service use, but a dent or two and the number 74 painted on bottom of stock. PHOTOS . . . $650.   C&R

    EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 2261 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1956 . Very Good condition, over 70% original bluing with a mirror-bright very strong bore. Beech stock has original finish with dings and other scrapes expected handling marks. Includes removable 10-round magazine and web-sling. The slider on the rear sight is missing, which is quite common for these and really not a big deal. As-is it is sighted in for 100 meters. If shooting at more than 100 meters is required, a toothpick placed under the sight leaf will raise it the required distance. Replacement sight leafs can be purchased here for only $40.10 postpaid.     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 59015 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by VKT. Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing. Bolt-knob matching. bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Postwar stock (squared finger joints) has some dings and handling marks. Very attractive. PHOTOS . . . $525.    C&R 

    FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 505653 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by SAKO on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking. Excellent condition with 95% or better bluing. Bolt-knob numbered 5653 (matching).  Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod.     SOUTH AFRICAN Enfield No.4 Mk.1* bolt-action rifle # 4C7518 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1942.  Excellent condition with matching bolt. Bore is strong and mirror bright, US PROPERTY on side-rail of receiver. Wood and metal has dings in the finish from actual use in service.     SWISS Model K-11 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 41324 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1916. All-matching serial numbers including magazine. Excellent condition with 95% or better bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. Wood is streaked walnut with its original finish and very few handling-marks.     SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 684271 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1941. All-matching serial numbers including magazine. Near Excellent condition with 90% or better external bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. Wood is beech and is very tired, with numerous dings, scrapes and handling marks in the finish, XI 41 stamped beneath buttplate. Stock would clean up nicely with little effort.    U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3502901 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in March 1943. Excellent condition with 95% or better gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect RA 3-43 dated bore. Lovingly refinished walnut stock has very few handling marks. Includes olive web sling. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $950.    C&R    SOLD

    U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5621895 (.30-06) mfg. by Harrington & Richardson in May 1955 with HRA 5-55 barrel.  A correct grade Greek return (August 2006) in Excellent-PLUS (basically UNISSUED) condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an exceptional bore (TE = 1.5, MW = 1.0). Has all original HRA parts correct as it left the factory, with nearly flawless walnut buttstock having VERY bold DOD (stars over eagle) cartouche on left side and only a few heavy dings on right side in front of op-rod.     YUGOSLAVIAN Model 24/47 Mauser bolt-action rifle # J3144 (8x57) mfg. by Zastava in c.1950. Excellent condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 95% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces with little apparent wear and a sharp mirror-bore. Bold Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. Matching renumbered bolt handle, with milled triggerguard and magazine-floorplate and straight bolt handle.
