BELGIAN Model 1908 Bayard semiautomatic pistol #254200 (.32 ACP), mfg. by Pieper circa 1920. Excellent condition, with 98% original bluing, Belgian postwar proofs on right side. Bore a little pitted but strong, all matching-numbers. This was the smallest pistol ever officially adopted by any army, and were issued by Belgium both during and after WWI. BRITISH Model "New Service" revolver #103188 (.455 Eley) mfg. by Colt in 1917. British-proofed, with British serial # C175 on right side of frame and on outside of cylinder. Near Excellent condition, the bore strong and mostly bright with some scattered light "crud" in the lands. Colt hard-rubber grips pretty nice, lanyard-ring intact. HUNGARIAN Model 29M Frommer semiautomatic pistol #12204 (.380 ACP), mfg. by Femaru Fegever circa 1931. Near Excellent condition, with all-matching numbers, excellent bright bore, and 95% original bluing with some minor wear at corners and edges of high-gloss finish. This was the official sidearm of the Hungarian Army throughout the early 1930's and is an excellent design with a grip-safety. Nice grooved-walnut grips, 29M-marked seven-round magazine. JAPANESE Type 14 Nambu semiautomatic pistol, #21354 (8x21 Nambu) mfg. at Koishikawa in June, 1931 (Showa 6.6) with small trigger-guard. All-matching numbers except magazine, excellent "unfired" condition with gorgeous mirror-bore and 98% bluing (some insignificant surface-pitting at edges, at bottom of barrel and atop receiver from storage). U.S.A. Model 1917 revolver #155461 (.45 ACP) with military number 9627 mfg. by Colt in Dec. 1917. All-matching except barrel, which is likely a replacement and shows less external wear than rest of the gun. Very Good overall, metal on frame and cylinder a uniform dark gray with some reddish-brown mottling, barrel has some rubbing in blue, bore sharp and shiny. U.S.A. Model P9S semiautomatic pistol # 103 162 (9mm) mfg. by Heckler & Koch in 1973. Excellent Plus condition with 100% blue, a gorgeous mirror-bore and rare rounded trigger-guard. This is an unusual type pistol in that it has a cocking-lever on the left side and uses a roller-mechanism (like the G3 rifle) to lock the slide when firing. There is also a manual safety and a loaded-chamber indicator, and they are both comfortable to fire as well as amazingly accurate. Right side of slide has National Security Agency markings removed and is overstamped EXCL FOR SACO ARL VA 22209. BRITISH Model SMLE No.1 Mk.III* Enfield bolt-action rifle # Y6305 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1916. Very Good condition, all-matching numbers. 70% finish (most bluing worn or browned from age), slightly coarse and grainy bore with strong rifling, headspace a bit generous (usual for the period) but is safe to fire with factory loads. Beech stock and handguards with buttstock an obvious replacement and is chipped where it attaches to receiver. . . $150. C&R
BRITISH Model P-14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle #131223 (.303 British) mfg. by Eddystone in 1915. An original WWI example with all-original E-marked parts and stock. Nearly full parkerized finish on metal, stock has IE in circle and PATT 14* stamped on right side of butt. Rear volley peep-sight missing (as usual) as well as pointer on front, but dial-face is still there as is the circular hole where unit-disk was. Wood has numerous handling-marks, dents and scratches but original finish. Bore is a bit dark in the lands but has strong rifling and will certainly brighten up considerably once some rounds are sent down it. Not import-marked. . . $350. C&R

GERMAN Model Gewher 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle #8097ll (8x57) double-dated, mfg. by Danzig in 1917 and pressed into service with the Reichswehr in 1920. Excellent condition with virtually full original bluing, bolt and extractor numbered 990, but first digit struck over a 3 (firing-pin is numbered 390 instead of 990, safety numbered 990), intact Mum. This type has wooden buttplate, ladder peep-sight, crudely welded safety, no cleaning-rod, and long handguard. Absolutely NEW and unfired, this is the initial version of the current "PC9" model with POLICE CARBINE stamped on the side. Has adjustable open sights and integral scope-mounts. Features a Zytel stock and handguard with a cross-bolt safety with a 16 1/2" heavy moly-steel barrel, 7 3/8 lbs. total. VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #7023 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in c.1953. Near Excellent, with 95% original painted finish (stoving) and mirror-perfect bore. All-matching numbers, Venezuelan crest on receiver is extremely bold and beautiful, with slotted muzzle-break, a few minor dents in the magazine. Walnut stock has some crescent-shaped contact-marks from bolts of adjacent rifles, some normal handling-marks from use, and has been lightly sanded in the distant past, clear FUERZAS ARMADAS VENEZUELA ("Venezuelan Armed Forces") cartouche.
