SPANISH Model JO. LO. AR semiautomatic pistol # 5099 (9mm Largo),  mfg. in Eibar in 1928. Excellent condition (these are usually found shot-out & very worn externally), beautifully refinished with full bluing with a really nice, excellent bore (several parts such as hammer, trigger, cocking-lever and extractor-spring "in the white").  This unique pistol-design  has several groundbreaking features, including a tip-up barrel for loading the chamber, and an awkward-looking but effective swinging-bar attached to the right side of the slide to allow one to cock the pistol one-handed.  Bakelite logo-grips with finger-grooves and an eight-shot magazine. Not import-marked, scarce, and simply never seen in this type of condition (usually every one encountered has been "rode really hard and put away wet"). Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $750.  C&R

Not import-marked. One of the very best No.4 (T) sniper rifle we have ever handled.  PHOTOS . . . $2950.   C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) SNIPER bolt-action rifle # B39868 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley arsenal in 1944. .  A refurbished No.4 (T) sniper with No.32 Mk.III scope with decent 1944-dated optics. GERMAN Model 33/40 Mauser bolt-action "mountain carbine"  REPLICA #217575 (8mm).  In the mid-1950's and early 1960's many original 33/40 carbines were dismantled for their small-ring receivers (which were used to build light custom rifles in various calibers, .308 Win. being most popular).  The excess parts were usually discarded but rarely they were kept. This carbine is built from such a 33/40 parts-set upon a Turkish mauser (large-ring) receiver (which has most of the original markings removed and 33/40 style markings added).  All parts except for the receiver are from a genuine 33/40 carbine (the bolt being from Russian-reworked 98k that we sold last year that had a 33/40 bolt in it). Superficially it has the appearance of a genuine mountain carbine and would be suitable for re-enacting purposes. It is also an extremely accurate shooter with an excellent bore. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $350.  C&R    SOLD

INDONESIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action infantry rifle # 4-003610 (.303 British) mfg. by Hembrug arsenal early in the 20th Century as a Dutch long-rifle in 6.5x53R, reconfigured in 1954 to chamber .303 British cartridges in what used to be the Dutch East Indies. Excellent condition with 98% bluing having all-matching numbers and a minty mirror-bore, Indonesian 5-pointed star having been ground-off (as usual) from both left side of receiver and top of barrel-shank. Buttstock has arsenal-patch at heel but is otherwise quite nice though the wood has been recently refinished and has a Jungle-carbine type of Rubber buttplate. Rear-sight is unusual with an express-sight arrangement (calibrated for 200 and 600 meters).  The long-rifles of this series are quite scarce, the carbines (with attached muzzle-breaks) quite common.  PHOTOS .  . . $425.    C&R    SOLD

MEXICAN Model 1936 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 34468P (7x57), mfg. by Fabrica Nacionale de Armas in 1940. Near Excellent condition, with 90% bluing (beginning to turn brown).  Mismatched but correct bolt (as usual for these). This model Mauser is unique in that, although a small-ring Mauser action,  it has many characteristics of the U.S. Model 1903 Springfield rifle (cocking-piece, stacking-swivel, front-sight and barrel-bands being identical) and the buttstock wood swells just ahead of the magazine.  This was also the last military arm in the World chambered in 7mm.  All were apparently refurbished by the Mexican government, with stock-splices and mismatched bolts being a usual occurrence. Bore on this rifle is very bright with extremely strong rifling, ornate Mexican 1940-dated crest above chamber. Stock and handguard manufactured of local wood with several splices and few handling-marks, stacking-swivel broken off (never seen one that wasn't), brass unit-disk at bottom of stock missing (but tack-holes still extant). Not import-marked, one of the few Mauser military rifles considered scarce to rare.   PHOTOS . . . $425.  C&R   SOLD

PERUVIAN Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 22551 (7.65x53) mfg. by Mauser in c. 1914.  VERY GOOD or better, with 80% original bluing (receiver in the white as is proper for these). Bore is nearly mirror-perfect, Peruvian crest is extremely bold and beautiful.  All-matching numbers except for bolt (as usual, bolt-body is #185, small parts of bolt #56).  Gorgeous reddish-walnut stock that has never been sanded with intact MAUSER cartouche on right side, a couple scrapes on right side from contact with adjacent rifles during normal storage & handling through the years, FRV in box scratched on left side, repaired thin crack at wrist. Not import-marked, rare.  PHOTOS . . . $450.   C&R

RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant infantry rifle # 60921 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1900. Excellent PLUS condition with 98% bluing, extremely strong markings (with both Czarist eagles intact) and force-matched bolt.  A Finnish rework, Finn property-marked (with [SA] stamped on barrel-shank) and has Civil Guard marking S70630 stamped on top receiver-flat. Bore is quite bright and extremely strong, counterbored at muzzle. Finn 2-piece stock is virtually as-new, with some dings on right side (just behind bolt) from contact with adjacent rifles. Includes cleaning-rod and Finnish sling-swivels. Not bad for a 104 year-old rifle.  PHOTOS . . . $275.    C&R    SOLD

Walnut stock & handguard has subtle tigerstripe figure and original finish, with a few handling-marks and compressions but is sound.   PHOTOS . . . $250.  C&R

PHOTOS . . . $425.  C&R   SOLD

SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin rifle # 925123 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1949.   Near Excellent condition with almost full (90%) original bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore.  All-matching numbers, Beech stock and handguard appears to have original finish with some of the expected handling-marks. Includes muzzle-cap. PHOTO  . . . $150.  C&R   SOLD

U.S.A. Model of 1903-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4080150 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in September 1943.  Excellent condition with all R-marked parts and 95% Green  Parkerizing on all metal parts (bolt and safety are blued).
