AUSTRALIAN No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # 23713 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1915 with IRAQ property-marks above chamber.  Near Excellent condition with very bright and strong bore. All matching numbers, has Ishapore 1928-dated rework-marks on left side of receiver. Quite a few of the expected handling-marks and compressions on wood, not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $325.  C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Martini-Henry Mark IV single-shot rifle (.45 Long Colt) mfg. by Enfield in 1886. Very Good PLUS condition with much original bluing and bold markings. There is a chamber-insert that I do not know how to remove that is chambered in .45 Long Colt caliber, which is at least obtainable and shootable compared to the original .577/450 Martini cartridge that (even if you could obtain any) would knock you into next week. Includes cleaning-rod, stock marked with some nice items on the right side that I thought you all would get a "kick" out of. Not import-marked, includes leather sling which might be the real thing. BRITISH Sht LE No.1 Mk.I*** bolt-action rifle # ER1728 (.303 British) mfg. by British Small Arms Co. in 1905.  Very Good overall condition with mostly full finish and mostly bright and strong bore. This rifle still retains its front and rear volley-sights and has charger-guide attached to the bolt head.  Rear sight is windage-adjustable and has bone-inserts in sight slider-buttons. Bolt matches receiver, front nose-cap does not (ER2585). Buttstock and handguards are walnut with few of the expected handling-marks and compressions. Includes leather sling as shown. BRITISH Sht LE No.1 Mk.II** bolt-action rifle # 1446N (.303 British), originally mfg. as a Long Lee by uncertain maker, converted to the Mk.II pattern by Enfield in 1905.  Very Good overall condition with mostly full finish and mostly bright and strong bore. This rifle still retains its front and rear volley-sights and magazine cut-off  has charger-guide attached to the bolt head.  Rear sight is windage-adjustable and has bone-inserts in sight slider-buttons. Bolt and rear-sight matches receiver, front nose-cap does not. All serialized parts matches receiver except nose-cap, top-flat of barrel and rear handguard both DP marked, long thin crack in front handguard. BRITISH Sht .22 Mk.IV* bolt-action training / target rifle # Y21352 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by British Small Arms  in 1915.  This was a purpose-built single-shot trainer that ended up in Canadian service and acquired a Ross-type rear receiver sight. Very Good overall condition with mostly full finish and mostly bright and strong bore. Nose-cap and bolt matches receiver, rear-sight does not. Buttstock and handguards are walnut with few of the expected handling-marks and compressions. Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $725.  C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Sht LE No.1 Mk.III bolt-action rifle # L48454 (.303 British) mfg. by British Small Arms, Co. in 1939 with IRAQ property-marks above chamber.  Good to Very Good overall condition with very bright and strong bore. All matching numbers, has much of the external metal polished. Retains its magazine-cutoff Quite a few of the expected handling-marks and gouges on wood (including the serial number in Islamic numbers carved on right side of stock). BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 32C6742 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Savage-Stevens in 1942.   Excellent-PLUS condition, with over 98% military oil-blackened finish, all-matching numbers, and a gorgeous mirror 2-groove bore.  U.S. PROPERTY on left receiver-rail. Has 0-marked bolt-head, lovely flame-figured birch stock and handguards with some minor dings and scratches from actual use (but still quite lovely). Nearly all major parts Savage-marked, rear-sight is of the milled ladder variety, South African property-marked on top of receiver.  Not import-marked, rare so nice. PHOTOS . . . $495.   C&R  SOLD

BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.2 bolt-action rifle # A7419 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955 and apparently FTR'd in 1956.  Excellent condition, looks almost AS NEW inside and out, with only a few scuff on the wood. All matching serial-numbers, not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $375.   C&R    SOLD

BRITISH Enfield "Jungle Carbine" copy. Was a No.4 Mk.1/2 bolt-action rifle # BE12738 (.303 British) FTR'd by Fazakerly in 1955 which has been "converted" into a Jungle carbine using British milsurp parts. Bogus CONV №5 NIC / CYP (converted to No. 5 in Nicosia, Cyprus) markings added to left side of receiver. No matching parts, bright and strong bore, otherwise in Very Good condition and interesting for what it is (and isn't). Stock has Greek graffitti carved into it. Not import-marked. CHINESE Type 53 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 3299577 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Factory 26 in 1955.  Excellent condition with 95% bluing on all metal parts, bore is excellent if not extremely bright. All matching numbers, buttstock has a few minor handling-marks. Includes cleaning-rod. PHOTOS . . . $325.   C&R  

FINN Model 24 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 5030 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by S.I.G. on a scrubbed hexagonal receiver. Good to Very Good condition with little original bluing remaining. Bolt-body matching, bore is quite strong and bright, has unstepped barrel and includes cleaning-rod and sewed-on leather sling. Two-piece stock has the expected handling-marks and dings of a service weapon that has no doubt seen actual combat. PHOTOS . . . $395.   C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 78708 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1934 by Tikka on a scrubbed hexagonal receiver. Excellent condition with 95% original bluing. Bolt-knob matching, bore is strong and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece stock has a few dings and handling marks, but is otherwise quite nice. PHOTOS . . . $525.   C&R   SOLD

FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 64826 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1944 on a 1895-dated Setroryetsk hexagonal receiver that was Austrian capture-marked (AZF) during WWI. Excellent condition with 95% original bluing. Bolt-knob matching, bore is strong and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. One-piece Russian stock has some handling-marks and scratches, but is sound. FRENCH Model 1949/56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G54733 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1972. Excellent condition, with most Parkerizing intact, signs of wear only at high points and on corners. Nice bright bore. Includes one 10-round magazine and sling, no other accessories. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine # UF5807 (6.5x52) mfg. by Beretta in 1942. Excellent condition, with 90+% bluing and an excellent mirror-bore. Right side of barrel has crossed-rifles over target accuracy marking. Stock is matching, wood has a few scuffs and dings with decent finish.   PHOTOS . . . $350.     C&R   SOLD

NEW ZEALAND  Lee Enfield Carbine # 787 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield  in 1901.  Very Good overall condition with mostly full finish and mostly bright and strong bore. Retains its magazine cut-off, handguard (which are often missing) cracked at front and rear but present, has 10-round magazine, rear sight lacks slider. Right side of receiver stamped N↑Z over 647 over 1901. Buttstock has original finish with many of the expected handling-marks and compressions and four holes for some unknown reason drilled into the bottom about 2" from buttplate (see photo). RUSSIAN Model 91/59 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # CH6117 (7.62x54R), a reconfigured 91/30 rifle mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent condition with 98+% bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore. All-matching numbers, very minor compressions on wood from handling and storage. PHOTOS . . . $175.    C&R    SOLD

RUSSIAN Model AVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # YAB4036 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1943.  Excellent non-refurbished condition with 95% original bluing and an unusually excellent bright bore. All serial numbers matching (bolt stamped-numbered on bottom of bolt-carrier handle, magazine not numbered), receiver not grooved for scope-mount, features 4-slotted muzzle-break and AVT stock. Includes cleaning-rod and 10-round magazine as well as non-refurbished Tula-made Bayonet and scabbard. Not import-marked, finding original non-import rifles in this condition is quite difficult.  PHOTOS . . . $1850.    C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 459584 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1918 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle with metal cap.  Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  All-matching numbers except rear sight (013) and cleaning-rod (897). Beech stock & handguard seems to have its original finish, with a few of the expected handling-marks and scratches from actual use, bore-disk stamped 6.51/1. PHOTOS . . . $350.   C&R 

SWISS Model K11 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull cavalry carbine # 51957 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1916. All-matching numbers including magazine AND BAYONET.  Excellent condition with most original bluing remaining except at corners and edges and a near-perfect mirror-bore.  Walnut stock and handguard has its original finish with very few handling-marks from actual use. Includes original sling and correct bayonet with scabbard numbered to this rifle.  Not import-marked.  PHOTO  . . . $750.   C&R   SOLD

TURKISH Model Gewehr 88/14 bolt-action Commission rifle # 4703 (8x57mm) mfg. by Loewe in 1890.  Very Good or better condition, much external metal browned. No matching numbers, bolt has Turk markings (but rifle does not), S-marked bore, with cleaning-rod. Excellent strong and extremely shiny bore.  Buttstock is original walnut with some evidence of actual use. Retains barrel-jacket. U.S.A. Model of 1903-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4822319 (.30-06) mfg. by Smith-Corona in July 1943.  Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% deep black Parkerizing on all metal. A choice example with near-perfect 2-groove bore and lovely walnut stock having a few minor dings from handling and storage, bold FJA, OG and ordnance cartouches on left side, includes green web-sling. VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 53 (yes, number fifty-three) (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1953.   VERY GOOD overall condition, metal better with over 90% original painted finish (stoving) and very strong and bright bore. All-matching numbers, Venezuelan crest on receiver is bold, with slotted muzzle-break.  Walnut stock has considerable handling-marks and dings from contact with adjacent rifles but has not ever been sanded or refinished.
