    BRAZILIAN REBELLION Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 5487 (7x57) mfg. by Brno  in c.1930.  Excellent condition with full bluing. No serialized parts, bolt has bent handle with flattened bolt knob.  Bore is quite bright with very strong rifling. Three-line Brno address above chamber, right side of receiver deeply stamped PM 08224 (Policia Militar with their new rack number).     CZECH Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 6882 (8x57) mfg. by CZ in c.1920 with "rollercoaster" rear sight.   Very Good condition with curved factory address atop chamber. The bore is quite strong but not very bright.  No matching serial numbers, includes cleaning-rod and detachable rear sling swivel.     EAST GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 12322 (8mm) mfg. by Brno (factory code tgf) in 1950.  Excellent condition with full bluing, all numbered parts matching receiver (12322 or 22).  Has non-matching laminated 98k stock with some of the expected scuffs and dings with front sight protector and stamped winter triggerguard. Bore is excellent and mirror bright, includes cleaning rod.  Includes tgf 50 marked bayonet & scabbard in excellent condition. Rare, and the nicest example we have ever encountered.     GERMAN Model Gewehr 1871 bolt-action single-shot Mauser infantry rifle # 715 (11mm) mfg. by Amberg in 1877. Very Good or better condition, receiver "in the white" (as is proper, though a bit subdued it has not been polished bright recently).  All matching serial numbers with the exception of a couple screws, with a very strong and mirror-bright bore.  Lovely buttstock has original finish with a couple scratches on the left side and clear cartouches.     SERBIAN Model 24 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 169015 (8x57) mfg. by Kragjuvec in c.1926. Very Good or better  condition, a refurbished rifle with 100% rebluing over light pitting on receiver. Bold SERBIAN crest above chamber, MOДЕЛ 1924 below. Mismatched bolt, the bore is mirror bright and very strong. Includes cleaning-rod, front sight-hood and new-looking leather sling.     TURKISH Model Gewehr 88/15 bolt-action Commission rifle # 8248  (8x57mm) mfg. by German military arsenals in the early 1890's, and re-stamped at Ankara in 1938.  Excellent or better condition, metal has full bluing. Tangent rear sight has Western numerals, matching bolt, else no other matching serial numbers (as usual). Strong and mostly bright bore.  Buttstock has small insignificant hairline crack behind tang. Barrel-jacket has been removed (when re-barreled in 1938), and wooden handguard has been added. Includes cleaning-rod. Tangent rear sight has Western numerals, matching bolt, else no other matching serial numbers (as usual). Strong and sorta bright bore.  Buttstock has small insignificant hairline crack behind tang.     TURKISH Model 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 6282 (8x57) rearsenaled by Ankara arsenal in 1954. Excellent condition, with 98% or better bluing remaining on all external metal. This was originally a WWI-era  German Gewehr 98 that was reconfigured ("roller-coaster" rear sight removed and replaced with more usable tangent rear sight) and re-branded by the Turks with 98. Th. on left side of receiver. Bore is extremely bright and strong, matching bolt, else no other matching serial numbers (as usual). Completely functional, includes cleaning-rod.     TURKISH Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 3944 (8x57) rearsenaled by Ankara arsenal in 1933, a large-ring Mauser with straight plum-handled bolt.  Very Good condition, with much browned bluing remaining. Rear sight and bolt serial numbered 3944 to match receiver (other numbered parts have Arabic numerals and not matching).     TURKISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 67331 (8x57) rearsenaled by K. Kale (Ankara) arsenal in 1941, a large-ring Mauser with straight bolt.  Excellent condition, with all bluing remaining on all external metal. Rear sight and bolt serial numbered 7331 to match receiver (other numbered parts not matching, as usual). Bore is extremely bright and strong, completely functional, includes cleaning-rod.  Stock is beautifully grained walnut with very few of the expected handling marks.     YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48A Mauser bolt-action rifle # G42199 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in 1952. Near Excellent condition, most external bluing on metal components (worn only at corners and edges) and a dark bore with strong rifling (from shooting corrosive ammo and not being cleaned properly). Clear Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber, underside of bolt-knob flattened. All matching serial numbers. Stock has some handling marks and a few dings but is sound.
