    ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action sporterized rifle # A6106 (rechambered to .30-06) mfg. in 1910 by DWM.  Excellent condition, a large-ring standard-length Mauser with 95% or better bluing on all metal components and a sharp mirror-bore. Receiver has been drilled & tapped and wears a scope mount with rings as well as retaining its iron sights.     AUSTRIAN Model 1895/34 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine (shortened infantry rifle) # 128P (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917. Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with 100% or better bluing. Bore is mirror bright and very strong. Stock has vivid tiger-stripe figure with minor dings and other handling-marks.     BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # A64889 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley in 1943 with a Factory Thorough Repair at Fazakerly in 1948.   Good or better condition, with over 50% original metal finish (less on barrel bands and muzzle), matching bolt, has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with a 2-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type.  Birch stock and handguards rough and raw with no finish (likely power-washed), Ishapore screw through forend. PHOTOS . . . $475.   C&R    SOLD

    CANADIAN Enfield CNo.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 95L0185 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1950. Excellent condition, metal has full finish on all parts and an excellent 4-groove bore that is mirror-bright. Stock has a few dings and handling-marks but is quite attractive with original finish.     FINN Model 91 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 16349 (7.62x54R) mfg. by VKT in 1941. Excellent condition, with full bluing and a mirror-bright bore. Bolt-knob stamped 6349 (matching), buttplate and magazine floorplate scrubbed. Finn three-piece stock has some handling marks but is sound. Includes cleaning rod and metal sling swivels.     FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 51329 (7.62x54R), barrel by VKT in 1942 for the Finnish Army Signal Corps. Near Excellent condition, with most original bluing on all parts and very strong markings. Bolt-knob and magazine floorplate stamped 1329 (matching), top of barrel-shank stamped V.  Bore is mirror-bright with perfect rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Finn three-piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has a few small circular plug-repairs with some dings and other handling marks. Includes cleaning rod. Very rare variety. The "HOLY GRAIL" of Finn M39's

    FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 59178 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by VKT on a 1902 dated Tula receiver.  Excellent or better condition with full bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 9178 (matching), magazine floorplate mismatched and buttplate scrubbed (as usual).  Bore is extremely bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod, number 697 stamped on top flat of receiver alongside  Czarist eagle. Decent postwar stock (squared finger joints) has only a few of the expected handling marks and two round plug repairs. The classic rarity in the series, with less than a dozen 1943-dated VKT Model 39 rifles known, lacking in even the most important museum collections. PHOTOS . . . $3,450.      C&R     SOLD

    FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 259035 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1945.  Very Good or better condition, with much remaining bluing and a better than expected strong and bright bore.  Bolt-knob stamped 9035 (matching), magazine floorplate also restamped 9035.  Wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) shows some marks from handling and storage and very bold SAKO cartouche on right side, with small crack at tang arsenal-repaired with brass screw. A sporterized rifle with barrel shortened to 18 1/2" and forend cropped (missing handguard entirely).     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 3, # 86167 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in September 1942 - January 1943. Excellent condition with full original bluing, all bolt parts numbered 157, mum has been ground (but is partially visible). This type has ladder rear sight with anti-aircraft wings, provision for monopod (which is present and not a repro), and plum-shaped bolt handle with checkered safety knob. Includes cleaning rod and mismatched sliding action-cover, wood has original finish and has never been sanded with only a couple handling marks. Chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright and very strong.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 34, # 3414 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo under Kokura supervision in July - December 1944. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and all bolt parts numbered 414 (matching), mum is intact. This type has ladder rear sight without anti-aircraft wings, and plum-shaped bolt handle with smooth turned safety knob. Stock has wood buttplate and the forend been shortened (unfortunately). However, the right side of the stock has a carving of Mount Fujiama, and the left side the soldier who captured it, Lloyd Ray Hedberg (1927-2011) neatly engraved.     POLISH Model 44 Mosin Nagant bolt-action carbine # KT07858 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Radom in 1953. Excellent-PLUS condition, basically UNISSUED, with full bluing and all matching serial numbers. Bore is mirror-bright. Stock has zero scuffs or handling-marks, includes cleaning rod and correct web sling with leather "dog-collar" keepers.     ROMANIAN Model 44 Mosin Nagant bolt-action carbine # AC741 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Cugir in 1955. Excellent-PLUS condition, with full bluing and all matching serial numbers. Bore is mirror-bright.     ROMANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # GM2267 (7.62x39) mfg. at Cugir in 1959. Excellent condition, with full remaining external blued finish. All matching serial numbers, chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright and very strong.     SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # Lb1892 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944.  Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts numbered (or renumbered) Lb1892 (matching) with elongated bent bolt handle.  1944-dated PU scope numbered b22839, same number stamped on left side of barrel-shank and inscribed (along with rifle serial #) on left side of scope mount. Stock and handguard has the inevitable scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, but is otherwise in nice shape. Includes leather lens caps.     SOVIET Model 91/30 ex-PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # TA7088 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943.  Excellent refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts numbered (or renumbered) 7088 (matching, without letter prefixes), has straight bolt handle.  Inside of receiver has bolts where the scope mount was attached, scope number on left side of barrel shank has been scrubbed.     SOVIET Model 1891/59 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # Cb8353 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943 with round high-wall receiver.  Excellent-PLUS refurbished  condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a very-bright bore (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). All numbered parts stamped matching (including letter prefixes). M38 stock (without bayonet groove on right side) has some minor dings and compressions from storage. Includes cleaning rod. The 1891/59 is a 91/30 infantry rifle that has been reconfigured to a M38 carbine and has had the upper graduations of the rear sight milled off. PHOTOS . . . $475.    C&R    SOLD

    SPANISH Model 1943 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 2S-183 (8x57mm), mfg. by La Coruna in 1958 with bent-bolt. Excellent-PLUS or better condition, with 99% or better bluing. All matching serial numbers, has mirror-bright very strong bore. Walnut stock has a couple scuffs on left side of forend, else pristine.     SWEDISH Model 1867 Rolling Block single-shot rifle # 47940 (12.17x44mm converted to Centerfire) mfg. by Copenhaven Arsenal in 1875.  Very Good or better condition, no external finish (these were not blued), some minor corrosion on outside of barrel.  Looks to have been sporterized, but still retains military sights. Completely functional, with a strong, very bright bore. Wood has original finish with a few handling-marks and is sound, with unmarked brass Unit-Disk on right side.  Not import-marked.     SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 266856 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1910 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle (with metal cap protecting the threads). Excellent condition, with 90% or better original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.51/3).  All visible serial numbered parts matching except for cleaning rod (as usual).     SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin cavalry carbine # 955805 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1951. All-matching numbers including magazine. Excellent condition with 95% bluing remaining and a near-perfect mirror-bore. Lovely I 48 dated Beech stock and handguard has original finish without the usual scuffs and handling marks usually seen, but it does have a hairline diagonal crack on the left side (barely visible and not at all compromising) that looks to be very easily repairable.  This rifle has a very unusual micrometer target rear sight. A decent example with bright and strong original 3-17 dated SA four-groove barrel.  Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 1.0, MW = 0.0).
