AUSTRIAN Model 95 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry rifle # 5732N (8x50R ), mfg. by Steyr in 1912. Very Good condition, with 70% fading bluing on all parts.  Barrel, receiver and left side of stock are the only serial-numbered parts, and they match. In original 8x50R chambering, bore is a bit dark but very strong rifling. Not import-marked, scarce.  PHOTOS . . . $375.   C&R   SOLD

BRITISH Sht LE No.1 Mk.I*** bolt-action rifle # ER87 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1905.  Very Good overall condition with mostly full finish and mostly bright and strong bore. This rifle still retains its volley-sight and magazine cut-off, charger-guide attached to the bolt head.  Rear sight is windage-adjustable and has bone-inserts in sight slider-buttons. All serialized parts matches receiver, left side of butt-socket has dates of '08, '09, '10 & '11. Buttstock and handguards retains its original finish with many of the expected handling-marks, knocks and compressions. Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $950.  C&R    SOLD

BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) SNIPER bolt-action rifle # S33105 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley in 1945 and modified to Sniper configuration by Holland & Holland.  Overall Excellent condition, with nearly full stoving finish and decent walnut buttstock (with added wooden cheek-piece) and walnut forend numbered to rifle. No scope or upper scope-mount, 24131 stamped at top of butt. S51 stamped at bottom. All-matching numbers on rifle. Bore is exceptionally mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), 0-stamped bolt-head, bolt handle matching receiver. Stock has been sanded and refinished long ago, with few handling-marks since.  Includes WWII-era web sling.  Not import-marked, extremely attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $950.   C&R     C&R    SOLD

BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.2 bolt-action rifles # A8991 and A8992 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955.  A consecutive pair of UNISSUED Enfields in perfect condition, the first still in arsenal wrap from the factory, the second has been carefully unwrapped and cleaned.  PHOTOS . . . $1650 for both.   C&R     SOLD

CANADIAN Model 1905 Mark II Ross SPORTERIZED straight-pull bolt-action rifle (.303 British) mfg. in Quebec in 1905 (no serial-number) with a late-style bolt. Excellent condition with a mirror-bright bore. rear-sight is a Lyman 57M peep, action has been set in a checkered Bishop sporter stock, PHOTOS . . . $450.   C&R    

COLOMBIAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 0138 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in c.1952.  Near Excellent, with most original painted finish (stoving) remaining and mirror-perfect bore.  All-matching numbers, Colombian crest on receiver is a bit weak but legible.  Walnut stock has few handling marks and rubber buttplate (see Johnson, The FN-49, page 74). Rare, not import-marked, one of only 1,000 produced in this contract.  PHOTOS . . . $1250.   C&R    SOLD

COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle # 2243-58 (.30-06),  mfg. by Madsen in 1958.   Excellent condition, with 90% or better original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect.  STock has a few scuffs and dings. This was the last military bolt-action designed for general use (complete with very effective muzzle-break and recoil-pad), not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $675.    C&R    SOLD

CZECH Model VZ-52/57 semiautomatic rifle # FS68334 (7.62x39) mfg. by CZ (code she) in 1958. Excellent-plus, nearly UNISSUED condition, with 100% light-gray parkerized finish and bluish-gray enamel finish on handguard, bolt and bolt-cover.  Perfect mirror-bore, really lovely golden-hued wood stock with virtually none of the usual dings from handling.  Includes seldom-seen front sight-hood (which also locks the nut at the muzzle) and correct Czech-marked sling in new-ish condition. FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 66211 (7.62x54R) mfg. in 1906 by Tula. Excellent condition with 90% bluing . Matching number on bolt-body, bore is a bit dark but has strong rifling and is counter-bored at muzzle, includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece Finn stock looks new with very few handling-marks. FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 25660 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1928 by Tikka. Excellent condition with 90% bluing. Matching number on bolt-body, bore is mirror-bright and very strong (and NOT counter-bored), includes cleaning-rod. Unusual [SA] stamp on top receiver-flat. FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # G47381 (7.5x54 MAS) mfg. by St. Ettienne in April, 1939. Near Excellent condition with most painted finish thinned or gone entirely. Has all early features with a strong, mirror-bright bore, all stamped serial numbers match. Cartouche on right side of stock has a couple dings but is readable. Excellent condition, a "Syrian contract" rifle with grenade-launcher on muzzle with cruciform spike-bayonet stored beneath barrel. All matching numbers with bright bore.  Includes one used magazine and correct leather sling. Wood appears to have been nicely refinished in the distant past, with few marks since. GERMAN Standard Modell bolt-action Mauser rifle # 1845 (8mm) mfg. by Mauser around 1933 with DEATH-HEAD marking topped by SS runes on left side of barrel-shank.  Very Good condition, matching-numbered straight bolt.  Has all early features including finger-grooves on stock. Commercial proofs on left side of barrel-shank and receiver, right side of receiver has arrowhead enclosing number 7. Not import-marked, SS markings guaranteed genuine, a few losses on right side of forend by barrel-band.  PHOTOS . . . $1500.   C&R 

GUATEMALAN Model vz24 bolt-action Mauser rifle # 1592 (7mm) mfg. by CZ in 1924. Very Good or so condition with bold Guatemalan national crest (long-tailed Quetzal bird atop Constitution, crossed rifles behind and crossed swords below) above chamber. Excellent bore, straight-handled bolt mismatched (as usual), some light pitting on metal (especially near the wood line). Stock is a bit banged up but sound.  Very rare, import-mark states it is chambered in .30-06 but it is still in 7mm. . .  PHOTOS . . $450.   C&R    SOLD

ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action cavalry carbine # D2592 (7.35x53) mfg. by Gardone in 1939. Excellent-PLUS condition, with full high-gloss bluing, bore bright and strong. Stock has original finish with FAG 39 cartouche on left side, the cut-out sections on the right side (for the "Tromboni" grenade-launcher) are filled in with wood inlays when built. ITALIAN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # BV7940 (6.5x52) mfg. by Terni in 1940. Very Good condition, with 70% or better thinning blue, bore bright and strong. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # T09077 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1929. Excellent condition, with all-matching numbers including matching numbered bayonet. Internally perfect with a mirror-perfect bore, wood is walnut with some contact-marks and abrasions from palletizing and a couple small inventory-stamps. . . . $575.   C&R

POLISH Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # KD00512 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Radom in 1953. Absolutely UNISSUED and in perfect condition, with 100% bluing and a mirror-perfect bore and all-matching numbers. RUSSIAN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # ED618  (7.62x54R) mfg. by Kovrov in 1941. Excellent condition, an arsenal rework with 98% or better bluing on all metal parts, bore is mirror-bright and very strong. All matching electropenciled or stamped Russian serial numbers on all parts but magazine. Receiver grooved for scope-rails, muzzle-break is of the four large chamber type. Buttstock has a few minor handling-marks and the usual arsenal-repairs at sides. Includes cleaning-rod and Russian  91/30 web sling with "dog collars". PHOTOS . . . $1150.    C&R    SOLD

SERBIAN Model 1924 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 81223 (8x57) mfg. by Kragujevac in c.1935.  Excellent condition, with nearly full bluing on major parts. Royal Serbian crest above chamber very bold and detailed. All-matching numbers, bore is very strong and mirror-bright, streaked walnut stock has bold cartouche of King Petar II (reigned 1934-1945) on right side, includes cleaning-rod.  Not import-marked, the nicest example I have ever encountered. SPANISH Model 1921 Destroyer bolt-action carbine # 33008 (9x23 Largo) mfg. by Ayra Duria in 1961. Excellent condition with 90% bluing throughout. Has a sharp mirror-bore, only numbers on bolt are 115. Stock is of pistol-grip type with some minor dings and compressions and one heavy dent on right side.  Includes one 7-round magazine (more available). PHOTOS . . . $425.   C&R    SOLD

SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-02603 (7.62x51) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1949. Excellent condition, with 95% Parkerized metal surfaces (magazine-floorplate and triggerguard browned from carry) and a sharp mirror-bore. Matching bolt, crest atop receiver is the boldest I have ever seen. Stock looks as if it has been lightly sanded in the past with a few dings and light scratches. Includes correct web-sling. SWEDISH Model 94 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 8692 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1916 with bent bolt and no provision for mounting bayonet.. Very Good condition, with 70% original bluing on all parts (magazine-floorplate and triggerguard shows wear from being carried). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore.  All-matching numbers except rear barrel-band. Stock has some dings and handling marks, with some chips near nose-cap. SWEDISH Model 41 Mauser bolt-action SNIPER rifle (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1902 with bent-bolt and lower scope-mount.  Good to Very Good condition, with most original bluing faded or worn completely away. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/0).  No matching serial numbers, cleaning rod not numbered. U.S.A. Model of 1903 "Springfield" bolt-action rifle # 100247 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory with April 1908 dated barrel. A reworked low-number example in Very Good or better condition with excellent and very bright bore. Wood has very few handling-marks with only P in circle cartouche. U.S.A. Model of 1917 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 159657 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in 1918 with R / 2-18 marked barrel. An original example in Excellent condition with 95% or better high-gloss blued finish.  Bore is excellent and very bright (ME = 1.5), top of bolt has number that doesn't match anything, side-rail of receiver and buttplate has U.S. eagle-head proofs. Wood has very few handling-marks, with two Canadian cartouches (broad-arrow inside C), one on right side and one at bottom. Not import-marked, a very attractive example with leather 1905 sling. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5848484 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1955 with a S-A-2-52 barrel.  Excellent condition with full uniform dark-gray Parkerizing on metal and having a gorgeous mirror-bore (TE = 2.5, ME = 1.5). Birch stock and handguards have a few dings and handling-marks, all parts of postwar vintage with HRA trigger-group. Not import-marked.   PHOTOS . . . $750 C&R    SOLD

YUGOSLAVIAN Model 95M Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action rifle # 87179 (8x57), mfg. for BULGARIA by Steyr in 1903. Near Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing on all parts.  All-matching serial numbers, has very strong markings (including Bulgarian rampant lion crest above chamber) and a very bright and strong bore. Includes ammo clip and intact extractor. Stock has some dings and scratches but no cracks. Not import-marked, very scarce this nice.  PHOTOS . . . $675.   C&R
