    BELGIAN NAVY Model 24/50 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 10029 (.30-06) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in 1951.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better original GRAY enamel Parkerized finish (indicating issue to Belgian Navy).  Bore virtually mirror-perfect, Crowned-L (for King Leopold) with ABL and date 1951 atop receiver.  All matching numbers, includes cleaning rod. Walnut stock has original finish and a few scuffs and handling-marks.     BRITISH Enfield ShT Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # M72331 (.303 British) mfg. by Birmingham Shirley in 1941. Near Excellent condition, with most remaining oil-blacked finish and a strong mostly bright bore. All matching numbers. Has transverse ("Ishi") screw in stock forward of magazine, cute plastic pineapple grenade hanging from triggerguard. PHOTOS . . . $275.     C&R   SOLD

    CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # B85758 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Very Good condition, with 75% or better deep bluing.  All matching serial numbers, no cleaning rod. Has weak (as usual) Chilean crest above chamber, strong but not very bright bore, walnut stock (with 1895-dated cartouche) has original finish with quite a few dings, dents and other handling-marks.     CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 5025Z4 (8x57) mfg. by CZ in 1938 with correct bayonet and scabbard.  A refurbished example in Very Good or better condition (nearly all external reblue intact) with large Czech lion above chamber. Bolt number on handle has been filed off and restamped many times, triggerguard electro-penciled to match receiver, no other serial numbers match. Walnut buttstock has many handling marks and dings from actual use. Includes non-matching bayonet and scabbard in Good to Very Good condition, upward-facing blade has some nicks in it.     FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 26711 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1937, a [SA] stamped  SOVIET RECAPTURE with laminated stock and Soviet arsenal refinished metal and shellacked wood. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99+% external bluing remaining. Bore is quite bright and very strong (counterbored at muzzle, likely by the Finns). All-matching stamped serial numbers. Laminated tock has a few scuffs and scratches from storage, rather large "banner" CAI, Georgia, VT  import-marking on left side of receiver.     FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # KZH1392 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1941, [SA] stamped on left side of barrel-shank, 41 on right side. Near Excellent condition with most external bluing remaining. Bore is quite bright and strong (is counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-body matching barrel (numbers only), remaining parts mismatched.     FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # HB6903 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1939, [SA] stamped on right side of barrel-shank. Excellent condition with all external bluing remaining. Bore is mirro9r-bright and strong (is NOT counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-knob numbered 6903 matching barrel (no prefix letters), remaining parts mismatched.     FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 76748 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1934 by Tikka on a hex receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% bluing. Matching number on bolt-knob, bore is mirror-bright and very strong, includes cleaning-rod and front ski sling-swivel on left side. Two-piece Finn stock has very few small handling marks.     FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # R6270 (7.35 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1939. Overall an Excellent example, metal in excellent condition with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.35. Buttstock serial number matches receiver with some of the expected handling marks from actual service use. Not import-marked, curiously the barrel-shank is also stamped PO above 1899 at top.     FRENCH Model 1944 MAS semiautomatic rifle # F3855 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1946. Excellent condition, with all Parkerizing intact. Includes one ten-round magazine. Bore is mirror-perfect, stock has a few minor nicks but is otherwise as new. PHOTOS . . . $975.     C&R  

    JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle # 1941145 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1915. Good condition with nearly full original bluing turning brown from age and exposure to the elements.  Chrysanthemum appears intact, but has been overstruck with a series of circles, includes cleaning rod. Stock and handguard has never been sanded, but likely should have been as it has many scrapes and gouges and looks more like a relic than a curio. Includes reproduction leather sling.     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action cavalry carbine # 609667 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1910. Near Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and intact mum. Includes action cover and cleaning rod. Bore is bright and strong, co9ckinmg piece numbered 667, remaining bolt parts not matching.  Wood has a few of the expected scuffs and handling marks but has not been sanded.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 6, # 64240 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in late1943. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and bright and strong chrome-lined bore.  Mum has been chiseled several times but not ground and still clear. All bolt parts numbered 240 to match receiver, has cylindrical bolt handle and proper cleaning rod. Wood has original finish with handling marks, not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $375.    C&R     SOLD

    RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 106073 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1915 by Tula. Very Good condition with most bluing remaining. Bolt mismatched (remainder stamped numbers matching), eagles have been scrubbed. Bore is a bit rough with strong rifling, missing cleaning-rod. Stock has very few handling marks. All matching numbers (bolt, magazine floorplate and buttplate electro-penciled to match), laminated stock has a few minor scuffs and scratches.
