    BRAZILIAN Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 4212oo (7x57mm) mfg. by DWM, Oberndorf (in reality at the Mauser factory, which was at the time owned by DWM) in 1912.  Very Good condition, with 70% bluing on most parts, receiver in the white (as is proper). Brazilian crest above chamber clear. Bolt not matching (996Pp), everything else does, no cleaning rod. Yellowish walnut stock has a few minor handling-marks with very sharp flag cartouche on right side, a bit chipped on left side next buttplate. Not import-markedPHOTOS . . . $425.   C&R   SOLD

    BRITISH Model P-14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 587361 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystyone in 1916.   Very Good or better, with over 80% original blued finish and a mostly bright and strong bore.  Brass disk on right side intact, pointers from both volley-sights removed. Bolt numbered beneath handle to match. Wood is Good overall with many handling-marks from actual use, small (less than one inch square) arsenal repair on left side next to magazine floorplate, wood all matching in color.     BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # U21183A (.303 British) mfg. by Birmingham Shirley in 1942. Very Good condition, with most remaining oil-blacked finish and a very strong mirror-bright bore. All matching numbers, bolt-head stamped with 1.     CZECH Model vz22 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # A3027 (8x57) mfg. by CZ in 1922-3.  A refurbished example in Very Good or better condition (nearly all external reblue intact) with curved 3-line legend atop receiver. No matching parts, some are from Gew. 98 rifles (bolt made by CZ), bore is strong but not terribly bright. Nicely figured walnut buttstock has been nicely smoothed long ago.     FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 41362 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by Tikka on a hex receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better bluing . Matching number on bolt-body, bore is mirror-bright and very strong, includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece Finn stock has very few handling marks.     FINN Model 27RV Mosin-Nagant bolt-action cavalry carbine # 74580 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1934 by Tikka on a hex receiver. Good to Very Good with evenly worn gray finish on metal. No numbers matching, has correct bent-bolt with checkered flat-bottomed handle and groove in stock to allow for it as well as German-style slot through stock for sling. Bore is somewhat bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece correct Finn stock has many handling marks and gouges fro0m actual use, unit-disk on right side was removed when retired from service.     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle Series 22, # 57471 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1935. Very Good condition with nearly full original bluing (bottom of mag-floorplate and triggerguard a bit browned from carry).  Chrysanthemum is intact, includes action cover and rusty cleaning rod.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 3, # 86167 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in late1942. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and bright and strong chrome-lined bore.  Mum has been lightly ground but is partly visible. Includes mismatched action cover, cleaning rod and monopod, all bolt parts stamped 157 with anti-aircraft rear sights. Wood has original finish with handling marks, not import-marked.
