    CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action rifle # B6142 (7x57) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Near Excellent condition, with 80% or better deep bluing.  All matching serial numbers except for bolt (headspaces properly), no cleaning rod. Has strong Chilean crest above chamber, strong but not very bright bore, walnut stock (with Chilean Navy cartouche) has original finish with a few dings, dents and other handling-marks.     FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 20126 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1941 by Tikka on a hex receiver (date has been filed off for some unknown reason). Excellent condition with 90% bluing. Matching number on bolt-body, bore is quite bright and strong (is counterbored at muzzle), includes cleaning-rod and Finn forest-green leather sling. Two-piece Finn stock and handguard has some heavy dents from actual use but is sound. PHOTOS . . . $325.     C&R   

    FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 54066 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1944 by Tikka on a round receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better bluing. Matching number on bolt-body, bore is quite bright and strong (and NOT counterbored at muzzle), has double-stacked blade front sight. Includes cleaning-rod and wire sling swivels. Near Excellent condition with most external bluing remaining. Bore is quite bright and strong (is counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-body matching barrel, remaining parts mismatched or scrubbed. Has Finn double-stacked blade front sight, one-piece Russian stock has quite a few scuffs and scratches (especially at wrist) from actual use, includes cleaning rod.     FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 52224 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1938 by SAKO on a hex receiver. Excellent condition with 98% bluing. Matching number on bolt-knob, bore is mirror-bright and very strong with counterbored muzzle, includes cleaning-rod, Civil Guard property marks on right side.     FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # A3204 (7.35 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1938. Overall an Excellent example, metal in excellent condition with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.35. Buttstock serial number matches receiver with very few of the expected handling marks from actual service use. Includes unmarked brown leather sling. Not import-marked.     GERMAN Standard Modell Mauser bolt-action rifle # B80702 (8x57mm), mfg. by Mauser in circa 1932 with MAUSER BANNER atop chamber. A Russian reworked 98k in Excellent condition with all-milled parts and a flat buttplate, bent bolt is electro penciled to match, has commercial BUGN proofs.     GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 1863a (8x57mm), originally a Gewehr 98 mfg. by C.G. Haenel, Suhl in 1916 and rebarreled and reconfigured to the 98k configuration in the late 1930's. A Russian reworked 98k in Excellent condition with all-milled parts and a solid walnut stock with a flat buttplate. Bore is very sharp and mirror-bright. Has District-mark XXI beside the serial number, Nazi markings have had their swastikas peened. Missing cleaning rod  (nice repro rods available from us for $12.00 each). A Russian reworked 98k in Excellent condition with all-milled parts and a solid walnut stock with a flat buttplate. Bore is very sharp and mirror-bright. Has intact Nazi markings with swastikas.     HUNGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action steutzer carbine # 4903M (8x56R) mfg. by Budapest in 1909. A carbine reconfigured from an infantry rifle in Excellent-PLUS re-arsenaled condition with 100% remaining bluing. Bore is strong and very bright. Bolt electro-penciled to match, stock likewise stamped 4903 on right side. Stock and handguard has numerous small scratches and dings, but does not appear to have ever been sanded and has nice subtle tigerstripe figure in the grain. Very attractive.     JAPANESE Type 30 Arisaka bolt-action carbine 26310 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1902. Very Good condition with most original bluing turning brown from age, bore is strong but not very bright.  Mum has stamped with a couple of circles but not ground and still clear. No matching serial numbers (I have not removed it from the stock to check assembly numbers). Bolt has hook-safety. Stock carved with a heart and MICKEY'S BABE on left side as well as a few other letters M G. Missing cleaning rod, not import-marked. Quite scarce to rare. PHOTO . . . $525.    C&R     SOLD

    JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle no Series, # 1168181 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1910. Very Good or better condition with mostly full original bluing (browning at bottom of action), has ground mum. This type has ladder V-type rear sight and front sight without "ears", includes its original cleaning rod with a mismatched action cover and repro leather sling. Bolt, bolt parts and bayonet-lug stamped 602 (internal assembly number). Dark but strong bore, no import-marks, wood was refinished long ago with quite a few small dings since that was done, butt plate a bit rusty from careless stoirage. PHOTO . . . $325.    C&R

    JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 23, # 11730 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura in c.1925. Very Good or better condition with mostly full original bluing (browned and faded at bottom of action), has intact mum. This type has ladder V-type rear sight and front sight with "ears", includes its original cleaning rod and picked up a genuine 1907 U.S. sling along the way. Dark but strong bore, no import-marks, wood appears to have original finish though it is scratched and banged up pretty good it has no cracks or splits. PHOTO . . . $425.    C&R

    JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle, no Series, # 66209 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in 1939. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and bright and strong chrome-lined bore.  Mum has been chiseled several times but not ground and still clear. All bolt parts and bayonet-lug numbered 209 to match receiver, has plum bolt handle and proper authentic cleaning rod. Action-cover, monopod and sling are reproductions. Bolt-handle numbered 735 to match receiver, all other serial numbers not matching. Includes cleaning rod.     SPANISH CIVIL WAR Model 1916 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # A5983R (7x57) mfg. in 1938 by the Republicans at an unknown factory. SUBSECRETARIA DE ARMAMENTO 1938 stamped above chamber, no other markings. Excellent-PLUS condition with full original bluing. Bolt-handle numbered 5983 to match receiver, only other numbered part is on magazine floorplate (733). Includes cleaning rod. Rifle appears UNISSUED with a mirror-bright bore and is very well-made.     TURKISH Model 1893 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 18420 (8x57), mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1895/6 (dated A.H. 1313, faintly visible). Very Good condition, with at least 50% bluing on all parts, Ottoman markings atop receiver removed when rechambered to 8mm by Ankara arsenal in 1936. Has very strong markings. bolt not matching (as usual) and a strong mostly bright bore. Walnut stock & handguard has quite a bit of lovely figure and little of the expected handling marks and is sound without cracks. Includes cleaning rod..     TURKISH Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 23673 (8x57) rearsenaled by Ankara arsenal in 1937. Very Good or so condition, with some bluing remaining on all external metal. Bolt not matching (neither is any other numbered part). Bore is somewhat bright and strong, completely functional. Includes cleaning-rod (threaded end missing) and black leather sling tied with thongs. Stock is very dry beech with some dings and scuffs in finish, a chip missing at bottom by buttplate.    YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48 Mauser bolt-action rifle # K76648 (8x57mm) mfg. c.1950. Excellent-PLUS, likely UNISSUED with 100% bluing. Bore is very sharp and mirror-bright, all-matching serial numbers.
