AUSTRIAN Model 72 SSG (Sharpshooter) Mannlicher bolt-action Match rifle # 136621 (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch in 1981 Excellent condition, with a near perfect mirror bore and double set-triggers. Aperture front and rear sights are installed (with many spare sight inserts included) with four detachable 5-round rotary magazines (which sell for over $100 apiece). Has fiberglass reinforced ABS polymer buttstock with very few very minor handling marks. Includes owner's manual, spare parts list, and 200 meter test target (showing 5 rounds fired from this very rifle impacting in less than 1"). These are possibly the most accurate rifles ever produced, and are in use by Austrian military snipers even today.   PHOTOS . . . $2150.      not C&R   

BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1/3 Enfield bolt-action rifle # 76C5629 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1944 (undated), converted from a No.4 Mk.1* to Mk.1/3 configuration during a Factory Thorough Repair at Fazakerly in 1952.  Excellent condition, with 95% of the finish remaining,  Four-groove bore is mirror-bright and very strong, All numbered parts (including forend and magazine) are matching. Bolt-head is stamped with 2, US PROPERTY marked on receiver, rear sight is the milled ladder type. Wood was refinished by Fazakerly when refurbished, and has very few handling marks.    PHOTOS . . . $950.      C&R     SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 254930 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1944.  Excellent condition with 98% or better bluing. Bore is mirror bright with very strong rifling.  Bolt knob numbered 4930 (matching), remaining serialized parts not matching or scrubbed.   Wartime buttstock (round finger joints) has some scrapes and compressions but no cracks or repairs and is sound. GERMAN Model HK91 pre-ban semiautomatic rifle # A023109 (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Heckler & Koch in 1980 with correct Hensoldt-Wetzlar Fero Z24 sniper scope and claw mount (with scope can and accessories). Excellent-PLUS condition, appears as-new with very little (if any) signs of wear. Includes five 20-round magazines and brown leather H&K sling in perfect condition. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # C02994 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1931 (1309 Anno Hijera). Excellent condition, with all-matching serial numbers. Internally perfect with a mirror-perfect bore.  Wood is walnut with nice grain and a beautiful furniture-type finish.  Some scuffs and contact-marks from transportation and storage, but no signs of actual use. PORTUGUESE Model 937B bolt-action rifle # F1462 (8mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1941, literally a 98k with bold Nazi eagle/swastika markings and bold (and fancy) Portuguese crest above chamber.  Near Excellent condition overall, with 90+% bluing on barreled receiver, rear barrel-band, triggerguard and magazine floorplate browned from contact with sweaty hands. Bore is mirror-bright, eagle / swastikas on left side of receiver and barrel-shank very bold. Bolt (and all bolt parts) and both barrel-bands are numbered 1462 to match receiver.   Buttstock, buttplate, triggerguard and magazine floorplate all numbered 7288.  Includes cleaning-rod and front sight-hood.  Stock has Eagle-H on right side, with several compressions from bolt knobs of adjacent rifles while in storage. Includes leather 98k sling with buckle. Many rifles in this 98k contract never made it to Portugal, but were pressed into service with the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe during WWII and are sometimes found as "bringbacks" or Russian (and even Norwegian) captures.   PHOTOS . . . $1750.     C&R     SOLD

SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 108983 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1902 with straight-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all metal parts and little apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/1).  Bolt matching receiver, remaining numbers mismatched.  Walnut stock & handguard has some dings and handling marks but is sound with original finish. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 180606 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1906 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle (with metal cap).  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all metal parts and little apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.52/2).  All visible serial numbers matching except cleaning rod (603), Rear sight is the m/58 large wheel-type precision version (similar to those used on snipers) calibrated from 100 to 600 meters but is also windage adjustable.  Walnut stock & handguard has some dings and handling marks but is sound with original finish, metal range-plate tacked on right side. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action civilian rifle # 672808 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1943 with factory  bent-bolt and unthreaded muzzle, made for the Volunteer Shooters' Movement.  Excellent or better condition, with 98%+ bluing on all metal parts and very little apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.49/1).  All visible serial numbers on bolt matching (unnumbered cleaning rod and other small parts have crooked crown instead of serial number).  Rear sight is the wheel-type precision version (as used on snipers) calibrated from 100 to 600 meters.  Beech stock & handguard has very few dings and handling marks but is sound with original finish. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 608381 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941  sporterized by "bubba" with bent-bolt. Excellent condition, with 98%+ Parkerizing on all metal parts and a mirror-bore.  Has Williams front and rear sights and receiver has been drilled & tapped both on the top and on the right side. A very effective safety has been added on the right side, and this rifle also has a hair-trigger to improve accuracy. Includes fabric hunting sling and thin metal front sight hood. SWEDISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 704567 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1944 (last year of issue) with bent-bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing on all metal parts and no apparent wear. Has very strong markings and a mirror perfect extremely strong bore (disk marked 6.50/0).  All visible serial numbers matching (unnumbered cleaning rod), Rear sight is T marked ladder version calibrated from 100 to 600 meters.  Beech stock & handguard has almost no handling marks and is sound with original finish. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 272379 (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March 1944.  I believe that this is a standard rifle that someone turned into a "National Match" Garand in Excellent condition with full dark gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal. All small parts stamped NM (including sights), has National Match operating rod, remaining parts are SA marked except for Geneseo, IL commercial barrel, which has a mirror-bright as-new bore (TE = 0.0, MW = 0.0).  Original postwar military walnut stock has stars / eagle cartouche on left side and is in excellent condition (glass-bedded to action) with added rubber buttpad.  Not import-marked with leather MRT 12-68 marked sling. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3207211 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in September  1944.  A "Special Rack" CMP rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal,  Criterion commercial barrel (dated 01/21) has a mirror-bright as-new bore (TE = 0.0, MW = 1.0). U.S.A. U.S.A. Model M1A semiautomatic rifle SNIPER rig # 068208  (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Springfield Armory Inc. in 1993.  Near Mint condition, fired only a few dozen times. Full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal.  All parts except receiver are new condition USGI surplus. As new barrel (TE = .75, MW = .50) was made by contractors Harrington & Richardson in September, 1961. Military walnut stock has void where auto selector switch had been, and looks new with only a few very minor dings. Has synthetic brown synthetic handguard with one 20-round magazine and correct web sling. Includes military scope mount with Vietnam-era  Leatherwood ART / MPC 3x9 variable power SNIPER scope (# 001476, with military operation manual). Butt-trap contains sectional cleaning rods and tools.  Not import marked, rare to find such and early example this nice with the proper ART scope which was utilized with the U.S. Army XM-21 sniper rifles.  PHOTOS . . . $2450.     not C&R     SOLD

U.S.A. Model M1A semiautomatic rifle # 145478  (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Springfield Armory Inc. in 2002.  Near Mint condition, fired only perhaps several hundred times. Full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, Stainless steel National Match bore is mirror-bright and near perfect, has National Match front and rear sights. Military walnut stock has filled-in area where auto selector switch had been, and looks new with only a few very minor dings. Has synthetic black handguard.
