FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 424099 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Châttelerault in 1894 with [SA] Finn property-mark on left side of barrel-shank.  Good or so condition with very little bluing remaining on external metal, legend faint but readable. Bore is quite dim but has pronounced rifling (has been counterbored). No matching serial numbers.  Two-piece Finn buttstock is in Very Good or better condition. FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 546813 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Sestroryets in 1894 with [SA] Finn property-mark on left side of barrel-shank.   Good or so condition with very little resemblance of bluing remaining and uniform micro-pitting on external metal.  No matching serial numbers.  Bore is mostly bright with pronounced rifling (has been counterbored for increased accuracy).  Two-piece Finn stock is sound with some dings from handling and use, but no cracks. Bore is somewhat bright with pronounced rifling (has been counterbored for increased accuracy).  Two-piece Finn stock is sound with some dings from handling and use, but no cracks. Near Excellent condition, with 85% or better bluing and a very bright and strong bore.  Bolt knob stamped 4810 (matching), buttplate and magazine floorplate scrubbed. FINN Model 91 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 23059 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by both VKT and Fabrique National (B) in 1942 on a 1919 dated Tula receiver. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing (plum-hued barrel) and a mirror bright and strong bore. Bolt body stamped 23059 (matching), buttplate and magazine floorplate not matching or scrubbed. FINN Model 24 "Lotta" Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 305 (7.62x54R) straight barrel mfg. by S.I.G. on a scrubbed receiver. Near Excellent condition, with 85% or better bluing, bore quite bright with pronounced rifling. Bolt knob stamped 305 (matching), magazine floorplate not matching, buttplate scrubbed,  Barrel has NSD (Nylands Södra Civil Guard District), crossed-through Civil Guard number S108 on left side of receiver (Helsinki).  One-piece Russian stock has a few minor dings and compressions from transportation and storage, with a nice lacquered finish. FINN Model 24 "Lotta" Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 683 (7.62x54R) stepped barrel mfg. by Bohler-Stahl on a Remington receiver, KLP on barrel-shank (Kymen-Laakson Civil Guard District).  Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing, bore mirror bright with sharp rifling. Bolt body stamped 683 (matching), buttplate and magazine floorplate scrubbed (as usual).   S52446 on left side of receiver (Pohjois Kymenlaak is a Civil Guard district on the Southern tip of Finland).  Receiver markings are pictured at  http://7.62x54r.com/MosinID/0134.jpg.   Two-piece Finn stock has a few minor dings and compressions dents from transportation and storage and has two clear 1" round DEUTSCHES REICH cartouches on right side (indicating that the rifle this stock was fitted to had been captured by the Germans during World War I).  Includes cleaning rod and metal sling swivels. FINN Model P-27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 13739 (7.62x54R) mfg. by AV1 in  1927 on a scrubbed receiver. Very Good or better condition with most bluing intact (except for barrel, which was not originally blued). Bore is somewhat bright with pronounced rifling, has NOT been counterbored at muzzle. FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 0837 (7.62x54R), mfg. by VKT  in 1932 on a 1915 dated Tula receiver. Excellent condition, with 95% bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt body numbered 0837 (matching).  One-piece Finn stock has some dents and dings from actual service use but nothing major.  Scarce Valmet barrel manufacturer.  PHOTOS . . . $950.      C&R     SOLD

FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 71794 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka  in 1932. Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing and a somewhat bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle).  Bolt-knob numbered 1794 (matching, with wings).  Two-piece M28 stock has some handling marks and round arsenal plugs on right side.  PHOTOS . . . $825.    C&R    

FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # S115848 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tikka  on an scrubbed receiver.   Very Good condition, with 80% or better fading bluing and a worn and not very bright bore.  Bolt knob numbered 8094 (NOT matching anything). S115848 on right side of barrel-shank is used as the serial number (Kainuu Guard district, located in east-central Finland), another crossed-out Civil Guard number S116150 below it (also Kainuu).  One-piece M27 Finn stock has original finish with the expected dings and dents from actual service usage.  PHOTOS . . . $725.        C&R      

FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 37491 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1934 on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking.  Excellent-PLUS condition, literally AS NEW with 99% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt knob numbered 1676 (NOT matching), Civil Guard number S87499 on right side of barrel-shank (Kainuu, a civil guard district in Eastern Finland). FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 44477 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1936 on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking.  Excellent-PLUS condition, literally AS NEW with 99% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt knob numbered 4477 (matching), Civil Guard number S152718 on right side of barrel-shank (Jyväskylä, a city in Western part of the Finnish Lakeland). FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 72128 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1940 on an 1897 dated Tula receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking.  Excellent condition, 95% or better bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt knob numbered 2128 (matching),  Stock has 1939-dated Civil Guard cartouche on right side, with some light scratches and contact marks from actual service use.  PHOTOS . . . $1500.     Antique, no FFL required      SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 686 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1927 by Tikka on an 1895 dated Tula receiver. Excellent-PLUS, literally UNISSUED condition with 100% bluing and a mint mirror-bright bore. Bolt-knob numbered 686 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed, Ordnance wheel and AV1 monogram stamped on top flat of receiver.. Postwar buttstock (squared joints) is most literally AS NEW and flawless, includes cleaning rod, with attached Finn Arsenal tag (dated 29 Jan 1979). Literally UNIMPROVABLE condition and very rare, made in the mid-1970's from reconfigured surplus M91 barrels (the first true M39 rifles were not produced until 1941). FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 205728 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1941 on an 1897 dated Tula receiver with PUOLUSTUSLAITOS on barrel-shank and STRAIGHT STOCK. Excellent condition with 95% bluing on all metal parts and mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate not matching, buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece wartime straight stock (rounded finger-joints) has a some handling-marks from actual use and bold SAKO cartouche on right side. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 36683 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by Fabrique National  on a ROUND RECEIVER. Excellent-PLUS, essentially UNISSUED condition with full original dark bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 6683 (matching). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Postwar stock (squared finger joints) looks new with just a couple nicks and dings. Includes detached Finnish arsenal-tag dated August 22, 1979 numbered to this rifle.   All B-barreled m39's were actually produced in 1977-79 from cut-down 1891 barrels held in storage.  Less that twenty M-39's with round receivers are known (rated R10).  PHOTOS . . . $1950.    C&R     SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91/38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 25873 (7.62x54R) mfg. by  Izhevsk in 1914. Excellent arsenal refinished condition, with 99% or better bluing on all metal parts (but barrel-shank and receiver has external very fine pitting).   Carbine does have a mirror-bright bore with strong rifling (and NOT counterbored at muzzle). All matching serial numbers, M-44 buttstock (with bayonet groove) has only a few handling marks and scuffs.   Includes cleaning rod and correct green web sling with leather "dog collar" swivels. RUSSIAN Model 91/38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 19063  (7.62x54R) mfg. by  Sestroryetsk in 1915. SOVIET Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action DRAGOON rifle # 35807 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1927. Excellent refurbished condition, with 95% or better bluing on all metal and a hexagonal receiver. Totally a real original Dragoon, with ladder rear sight & blade front sight. All matching stamped serial numbers, with a mirror-bright bore. Buttstock and handguard has a few minor scuffs and scraped shellac, no Finn markings at all.  Extremely rare, how this rifle did not get upgraded to the 91/30 configuration when being refurbished is a total mystery. SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # HB2574 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent-PLUS refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts numbered 2574 (matching, without letter prefixes), has bent bolt handle.  Refurbished (in 1968) SVT scope numbered A-07643, HB2574 and 07643 inscribed on left side of scope mount. Stock and handguard has very few scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, but is otherwise in nice shape. Includes leather lens caps and fabric scope cover, optics are bright and clear.
