BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # A7432 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955.   Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% original Suncorite painted finish, all matching numbered parts (bolt, forend, magazine and bolt handle) stamped A7432 (matching). Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type. Beech stock and handguards is pristine with zero handling marks. BULGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action straight-pull steutzer carbine # 8098D (8x56R) mfg. by FÉG in 1909.  Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with 99% or better bluing, Bold Bulgarian crest (rampant lion in shield) on top of receiver, BUDAPEST 1909 stamped on left side rail.  Bore is mostly bright and very strong.  FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G57782 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1966. Very Good or better condition, Parkerizing has worn to a light gray. Has great mirror-bright bore. GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 bolt-action infantry rifle # 7627 (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf in 1910.  Very Good or so condition, metal has some bluing (receiver is "in the white" but heavily stained).   Buttstock matches receiver, all other parts have mixed serial numbers. Has a very strong and somewhat bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle), the original "roller coaster" rear sight appears to be frozen at 400 meters, blade of front sight has been snapped off. Includes cleaning rod. Beech buttstock has a large repair at top of comb and has been smoothed.  Includes what appears to be French Berthier leather sling, not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $650.      C&R    SOLD

GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 5853a (8x57) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (factory code bnz 43) in 1943.  Excellent condition, a Russian rework with full remaining bluing and a very bright bore.  All Nazi markings are clear (a few scattered areas of very light porousity, likely from blood).  Nicely smoothed stock has faint but visible Nazi proofs on right side with flat buttplate. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle # 1674692  6.5x50) mfg. at Tokyo in c.1920. Excellent condition with full original bluing, wear only to triggerguard and magazine floorplate from sweaty palms.  No matching serial or assembly numbers, has intact Mum, features open V-type ladder rear sights, front sight without guards, and includes cleaning rod.   Two-piece stock has original finish with a few scratches and digs from actual service use.  Bore is mostly bright and very strong.  Very attractive appearance, not import marked.  JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 4, # 92722 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in February 1943 to May 1944. Very Good or better condition with 95% original bluing, mum heavily ground.  Bolt and all bolt parts numbered 425 (not matching).   Chrome-lined bore is quite-bright, wood has been likely duffle-cut, front band has been reattached and bayonet-lug, monopod mount as well as sling swivel has been ground off.   Anti-aircraft wings on rear sight has been removed, sling mount on left side of buttstock has been filled with wood putty, and BLO-type finish has been sloppily applied.  Not import marked, likely a good "shooter" but nothing more.  JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 4, # 96138 (rechambered to .30-06) mfg. at Nagoya in February 1943 to May 1944. Very Good or better condition with most original bluing, mum lightly ground (but is still visible), 30·06 stamped atop barrel-shank.  Bolt and all bolt parts numbered 116 (not matching).   Chrome-lined bore is quite-bright, wood has been heavily sanded and refinished.   Includes ersatz cleaning rod and anti-aitcraft wings on rear sight, monopod missing as are the guards on the sides of the front sight.  Not import marked.  JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 7, # 45629 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in February to May 1944. Near Excellent or better condition with full slightly fading original bluing, mum looks intact, but has three light knife-marks across it. Matching serial numbers, it appears that someone MAYBE tried to restamp the sheet-metal action cover 629 to match as well.  Chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright, wood appears to have been nicely refinished.  Includes cleaning rod, anti-aitcraft wings on rear sight, and action cover.  Not import marked. Excellent or better condition with full original bluing, mum has been neatly cancelled with X over it (mum still fully visible).  Bolt handle stamped 608 (matching), no other numbered parts.  Chrome-lined bore is mirror-bright, wood has original finish with less than the usual dings and dents. ROMANIAN Model FPK semiautomatic rifle # E-1880-76 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Cugir  in 1976 on a PSL-54C receiver (imported by Century).  Excellent condition, with 95% or better Parkerized metal on all parts and retains its original bayonet-lug.  Has a 4x6 scope (with military rangefinding recticle) mounted with very clear optics. Includes one ten-round magazine and cloth scope cover.  Looks very cool, similar to the fabled Draganov sniper rifle. PHOTOS . . . $1850.     NOT C&R    SOLD

SOVIET Model 91/30 reproduction PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # XG3993 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1940.  Excellent arsenal refurbished condition, with 90% bluing on metal and bright and strong bore.   Bolt, buttplate & magazine floorplate stamped 3393 to match.  This likely was a regular 91/30 that someone expertly convertad into a PU sniper by adding an original 1941-dated SVT-40 scope (with excelent optics) and unnumbered mount and expertly turning town and lengthening the bolt handle. Includes correct web-sling, cleaning-rod, leather lens covers and canvas scope cover.  Stock has small popsickle-stick sized repairs at sides on forend, else is nearly pristine.   The person I purchased this from was CONVINCED it was a legit PU sniper, but they were not produced until mid-1942 so a 1940-dated rifle does not fit the pattern.  Still VERY convincing and attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $1850.*     C&R      

SOVIET Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # CG2119 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1942. Excellent refurbished condition with a strong bright bore. Electropenciled serial numbers on all numbered parts on rifle matches receiver, bolt has plum color, receiver is NOT grooved for scope-mount.  Features 12-slotted muzzle-break. Stock and handguard has that shiny Russian shellac and has very few handling marks.  Includes cleaning-rod and 10-round mismatched (as usual) magazine.  Extremely attractive and now quite scarce. SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # IH335 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1953.  Excellent refurbished example with 100% blue and a chromed mirror-bright bore.  All matching serial numbers, blade bayonet has been blackened during refurb process, bolt carrier still bright. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-11546 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruña in 1949. Excellent condition, with 95% Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Matching serial numbered straight bolt (no other parts numbered).   Eagle crest atop receiver a bit faint but visible, stock has quite a few handling marks but is sound.  Includes correct web sling. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 327412 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1908 (low-number, duhhh) with SA 8-08 original barrel.  Very Good condition with much Parkerizing intact. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 527313 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1913 (low-number) with RIA 5-18 replacement barrel.  Excellent or better condition with most Parkerizing intact. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 1.0, MW = 0.0). Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 605811 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1916 (low-number) with SA 6-15 original barrel.  Very Good or better condition with most original bluing intact. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action TARGET rifle # 1395692 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1932 with SA 8-42 replacement barrel with LYMAN tunnel front sight.  Excellent or better condition with full blued finsih on all metal.  Bore is near perfect and mirror-bright (MW = 1.0). U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1035735 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in December, 1942 with replacement SA 12-51 dated barrel. Excellent condition with full gray Parkerized finish on all metal, bore is quite nice (TE = 4.0, MW = 2.0). A post-WWII rebuild Garand with mostly postwar parts and modified op-rod. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1280018 (.30-06) mfg. by Winchester in December 1942. Excellent condition with full gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal. All WRA-marked parts except for relieved SA-marked op-rod, undated Winchester barrel has a very bright and strong bore (TE = 3.0, MW = 1.0).   This rifle retains original lock-bar rear sight and has slightly worn web sling. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 4549835 (.30-06) mfg. by International Harvester in April 1953 with correct LMR 2-54 barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an excellent bore with "Postage Stamp" type receiver markings, bore is mirror bright (TE = 3.25, MW = 2.0) with very strong rifling. Has IHC-marked bolt, trigger-group and relieved op-rod have SA markings. Walnut stock has some handling marks and has a BLO-type finish applied.   Not import-marked, scarce. U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 5730777 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Winchester in Late 1944 with an undated Winchester barrel. Very Good condition, this is a BLUE SKY lend-lease import from South Korea with a mirror bright bore and with 1.0 muzzle-wear. This features all late features with a flat-topped bolt, lever safety, and adjustable rear sight. Walnut stock and handguard has quite a few dings and handling marks. U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 1858395 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Saginaw Steering Gear (a division of General Motors) in Late 1943 with a 4-44 dated Underwood barrel.  Excellent condition, metal has full Parkerized finish with a mirror bright bore and with 1.0 muzzle-wear. This features a flat-topped bolt, lever safety, adjustable rear sight and late front band with bayonet-lug. Walnut stock and handguard has quite a few dings and handling marks with a crossed-cannons and boxed EB / R.I.A. cartouches on right side. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # R3076 (8mm) mfg. by the Nazis during WWII and rebranded at Zastava in c.1947/8.  Near Excellent condition, a large-ring standard-length Mauser with 90% or better bluing on all metal components and a sharp mirror-bore.  Top of receiver has small Tito crest, left side has PREDUZECE 44 and Mod 98.  Bolt handle stamped R3076 (matching), magazine floorplate and left side of buttstock stamped 3076 (matching).  Beautiful streaked walnut stock has a couple scuffs and flat buttplate. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 59 SKS Simonov semiautomatic rifle # C-23658 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava  in 1964.  Near Excellent example with 85% blue and a mirror-bright bore.  All matching serial numbers (a few electro-penciled), blade bayonet has its usual Parkerized appearance. Has slightly scuffed-up (but matching #) solid wood stock & handguard, includes cleaning rod.  These are much scarcer than the 59-66 model SKS with attached grenade launcher.
