    ALBANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 07863-71 (7.62x39) mfg. at Umgramsh military arms factory in 1971. Near Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing on metal (some bluing rubbed off on action cover and bottom of magazine. All matching numbers, with near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore. Flashy beech stock has original finish with a few dings and scratches from handling. Includes cleaning rod and green cloth sling. PHOTOS . . . $475.    C&R     SOLD

     AUSTRALIAN No. 1 Mk. III* bolt-action rifle # 1563A (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal and dated 1945.  Excellent-PLUS condition with full finish and bright and strong bore. Matching bolt and nose-cap (no other parts numbered), buttstock and handguards are of lovely Australian coachwood with zero handling-marks. Was sold by S.O.G. about fifteen years ago as UNISSUED, but the fact is this rifle was assembled by Colt Black Powder (then owned by John J. Jovino) in Brooklyn during the mid 1990's from spare unnumbered parts, then serial numbered with a letter suffix instead of the correct letter prefix.     BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.2 bolt-action rifle # A4162 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955. Excellent-PLUS condition, basically an all-matching new "Irish-contract" rifle that was unwrapped from cosmoline, cleaned, and perhaps fired a few times. Perfect mirror-bore, nice metal and wood (a few small scuffs but nothing major). All-matching numbers except magazine, nearly as nice as is obtainable for these, with correct nylon web sling.     CANADIAN Model 1905 bolt-action straight-pull infantry rifle # 996 (.303 British) mfg. by Ross Rifle Co. in 1910 with U.S. property-marks behind triggerguard. Very Good or better condition with thinning bluing on receiver, remaining metal parts browned and has a rough bore with extremely strong rifling. Bolt still has some fading case-colors, rifle remains in its original military configuration (most remaining have been sporeterized).  Buttstock has been lightly smoothed, but unit cartouches on the right side still clear. U.S. marked on bottom of stock behind triggerguard with ordnance bomb and 5978 U.S. serial number. Not import marked, rare. PHOTOS . . . $975.  C&R    SOLD

    CZECH Model vz54 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action SNIPER rifle # P1743 (7.62x54R) mfg. by CZ in 1957. Excellent-PLUS condition, all bluing remaining. Bolt-body and bolt-head, triggerguard, magazine-floorplate and buttstock is all stamped at factory to match receiver. Bore is strong and mirror bright, and has been counterbored at muzzle (as all Czech sniper rifles are). Has lower scope mount but no upper mount or scope. Buttstock is checkered metal type.     EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 1528 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1961 . Excellent condition, over 95% original bluing with a mirror-bright bore. Beech stock has some scuffs on its original finish with white-painted Arabic rack-numbers at bottom of forend. quite a few handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $625.      C&R     SOLD

    FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 57449 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1944 with round receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright excellent bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-body numbered 57449 to match, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching or scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod and metal sling-swivels, two-piece Finn "pot-belly" stock has some minor dings but is extremely attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $350.     C&R    SOLD

     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 210634 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1941.  Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore.  Bolt-knob numbered 0634 to match. Two piece postwar stock (squared finger-joints) has zero handling marks and looks new, the rear half looks to be made of sapwood with very interesting and attractive figure.      FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # H22360 (7.5x54) a PRE-WAR example mfg. by St. Ettienne in January 1940. Excellent-PLUS original condition with near 100% blued finish on all metal and a nice wood stock. All numbered parts matching except for magazine floorplate, with a strong very bright bore and all early features. Includes integral spike-bayonet.     FRENCH Model 1944 MAS semiautomatic rifle # F64 (7.5x55 MAS), mfg. by St. Ettienne in Late 1944.  Excellent condition with original stoving (bhlack enamel) on non-moving parts. California legal (no grenade launcher). Bore is very strong and mirror bright.  Most visible numbered parts matching (bayonet numbered 88). Buttstock has a couple dings from storage but looks new.     GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 bolt-action Mauser rifle # 3234l (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1918.  Very Good condition, with fading bluing (receiver has been polished "in the white"). Number on bolt-handle has been scrubbed, all other numbered parts stamped 34 to match receiver. Bore is a bit rough but shootable.     INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A53582 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1965.  Very Good condition, metal thickly covered in black enamel. All matching serial numbers, bore is bright and sharp.  There is one arsenal-repair to stock. Not in the slightest bit pretty, *NOT* suitable for use with .308 Winchester ammunition. . .     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action cavalry carbine182567 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1930. Excellent condition with full original bluing (the best preserved example of one of these I have literally ever seen). Chrysanthemum has been ground (looks like ity was done yesterday), All parts numbered 774 (assembly number).  Bore is mirror bright and very strong, original unsanded finish on wood is near perfect, bolt and cleaning rod "in the white".  Not import-marked.     RUSSIAN Model 38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # BE1882 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent refurbished condition with 95+% bluing on all metal parts and a mostly-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle).     RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # Kb498 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1953.   Very Good  condition with worn bluing, bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Laminated buttstock with numbers matching everywhere (no cross-outs or line-throughs, though to number stamped in the buttstock is unclear).  Wood has considerable handling-marks.     SWEDISH Model 94/14 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 53639 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1907. Near Excellent condition, about 90% external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore, all-matching numbers including barrel-bands. Nice walnut buttstock and handguard with few handling-marks, has brass two-screw unit-disk.  Has muzzle extension (added to able importation before 1986) with original sling and correct bayonet & locking scabbard.     SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 621696 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941 with bent-bolt and threaded muzzle covered by aftermarket muzzle-break, Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better original bluing on all parts. Has a mirror-perfect bore (bore-disc indicating 6.50/1).  Rear sight is T type (150-600 meters), includes .front sight hood and excellent sling.     SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 8821 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1943. Excellent condition with 90% or better original bluing. Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.49/1 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with a few of the usual handling-marks and one gash. Includes ten-round detachable magazine.     U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 958348 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in June 1918 with U.S. NAVY property-marks. Very Good condition with 80% original blued (NOT Parkerized) finish on metal witgh some verdigris and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore (TE = 2.0,  ME = 0.25), barrel stamped E above 6-18. Stock has a few heavy handling marks with U.S.N. (United States Navy) stamp on left side, and large painted  U S N stencil on right side.  Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $895.    C&R   

      YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # D2221 (8mm) mfg. by unknown German firm during WWII and re-branded at Zastava in c.1948. Excellent condition, with 90% bluing. This is a large-ring standard-length Mauser with 85% or better original fading bluing and a sharp mirror-bore. Bold Tito crest above chamber. No serial numbers matching except buttstock (bolt number is 2219, only two numbers off). Stock has streaked figure with some scuffs and scratches.
