BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) SNIPER bolt-action rifle # B38540 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley arsenal in 1944. A Genuine WWII-era sniper rifle lacking the upper mount and scope. Overall Near Excellent condition, with nearly full stoving finish on all major parts (small parts mostly browned) and decent walnut buttstock stock (with added wooden cheek-piece) and beech forend numbered to rifle. Bore is exceptionally mirror-bright and strong (showing little if any actual use), 0-stamped bolt-head, bolt handle matching receiver. An unusual milsurp rifle with Mauser-style magazine and Mannlicher-style rotating bolt (the bottom of the bolt-knob flattened and checkered). Very Good condition with most bluing faded. Bolt and magazine floorplate not matching, bore is rough and dark, but has strong rifling. All Nazi eagle / swastika markings strong.
