CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #349429 (.32 ACP) mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka AG, Strakonice in early 1944. Excellent condition with 95% original military blued finish, most "straw" color on trigger and hammer intact.  All-matching numbers with fnh-marked slide, Nazi-marked with eagle and WaA76 on right frame and eagle holding swastika on top-strap. CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #476219 (.32 ACP) PRESENTATION PIECE mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka AG, Strakonice in late 1945 from parts manufactured under the Nazi occupation.  Excellent-Plus condition with 100% high-polish bluing.  fnh-marked slide, name  Paul J. Repko professionally stamped on right side of frame, only slide numbered (on top-strap). CZECH Model CZ-27 semiautomatic pistol #598583 (.32 ACP) POSTWAR issue mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka AG, Strakonice in c. 1950NEW IN BOX. literally 100% high-gloss blued finish with 100% "straw" color on trigger, hammer and extractor.  All-matching numbers with  CZ-50 type slide markings. Staggeringly beautiful, in dark-green cardboard box embossed with gold CZ-logo. Bore is mirror-perfect, and I doubt this has ever been fired. Not import-marked.   PHOTOS . . . $595.  C&R   SOLD

CZECH Model CZ-45 semiautomatic pocket pistol #53198 (.25 ACP) mfg. by Ceska Zbrojovka AG, Strakonice in 1947.  Excellent condition, with 95% bluing (wear only at sharp edges), much original "straw" color on trigger, hammer and extractor.  All-matching numbers with  CZ-50 type slide markings. FRENCH MAB Model GZ semiautomatic pistol # 24359 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Echasa in Eibar (Spain) during the late 1950's - early 1960's. Basically a single-action version of the Walther PPK pistol made for MAB on contract with a steel slide and alloy-frame.  Excellent condition with nearly full bluing and a near-perfect mirror-bore. Nice black bakelite grips with embossed with MAB Espana.  Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $225. not C&R    

GERMAN Dreyse Model 1907 semiautomatic pistol # 83186 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Rheinische Metallwaaren & Maschinenfabrik around 1912. A really interesting and unique design (by Louis Schmeisser) in Very Good Plus condition with 90% bluing (some holster-wear at bottom of forend), all-matching numbers and a near-pristine mirror-bore. Black bakelite grips have a RMF logo, right grip broken (thus the reduced price). Not import-marked, over 80,000 of these pistols were procured by the German Army during WWI. PHOTOS . . . $150. GERMAN  "Stenda" semiautomatic pistol # 60584 (.32 ACP), mfg. by Stenda-Werke, Suhl from 1919-1926.  Very Good Plus condition, with about 90% bluing intact. Bore is quite bright and strong, with a small area of pitting by the muzzle. There were only about 25,000 of these pistols manufactured, Stenda being the original designer (other pistols of this design, the "Menta" and "Beholla" were manufactured during WWI).  Includes 8-round magazine, checkered black-plastic grips with ST.W design at top.  No import-marks, scarce.. GERMAN Model Orgties semiautomatic pistol #63393 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Deutsche Werke  at Erfurt in  c.1922. All-matching numbers, Very Good Plus condition with over 90% original bluing and a very bright very strong bore. Walnut grips with HO (Heinrich Orgties) monogram (the right grip loose).  Not import-marked, has commercial (eagle/N) proofs.  PHOTOS . . . $225. C&R   SOLD

GERMAN Model 1910/22 Browning semiautomatic pistol #172024 (.32 ACP), mfg. at Fabrique National in late 1941.   Excellent condition with about 95% original bluing on better than usual military finish, minor holster-wear at sides of muzzle.  Bore is absolutely gorgeous and mirror-bright. All matching-numbers, all markings (including numerous Nazi eagle/swastika and WaA140 stamps) are very sharp, (H) for heere=army stamped on left side of slide. GERMAN Model 1914 semiautomatic pistol #339168 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Mauser at Oberndorf c. 1925. All-matching numbers, near excellent condition with 90% or better remaining bluing and an excellent mirror-bright bore, some fire-blue remaining on the trigger and takedown lever. Walnut wrap-around grips in excellent condition, includes proper 8-round magazine with square-edged floorplate. GERMAN Model 1934 semiautomatic pistol #525087 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Mauser at Oberndorf c. 1935. All-matching numbers, Excellent-Plus (like new) condition with 100% high-gloss commercial bluing and a literally perfect mirror-bore. Black bakelite grips with WM (Waffenfabrik Mauser) monogram in near-perfect condition (except for a few minor scratches), with lanyard-ring. New 8-round fully-functional magazine with MAUSER logo on bottom of floorplate, and original (?) stapled cardboard box with cleaning-brush included. GERMAN Model HSc semiautomatic pistol #931387 (7.65mm, .32 ACP) mfg. by Mauser at Oberndorf  late 1944. All-matching numbers, Very Good condition with honest external holster-wear with considerable traces of bluing. Really gorgeous mirror-bright  bore. Walnut wrap-around grips in good condition without any cracks. Looks like it was carried much and fired little. Not import-marked, has commercial (eagle/N) proofs on right side of slide and frame and Nazi WaA135 marking on left side of trigger-guard.  PHOTOS . . . $325. C&R    SOLD

HUNGARIAN Model 37M Frommer semiautomatic pistol #120306 (.380 ACP),  mfg. by Femaru Fegever circa 1938. Near Excellent condition, front half of slide very slightly pitted and dull from being "holstered wet".  Bore slightly pitted but bright and strong, otherwise 98% original bluing with some minor wear at corners and edges.  This was the official sidearm of the Hungarian Army throughout the later 1930's and was a favorite weapon of the German Luftwaffe after Nazi occupation. Nice grooved-walnut grips, 37M-marked seven-round finger-rest magazine, Hungarian crown proof on triggerguard, with folding lanyard-ring.  Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $275.  C&R   SOLD

NORWEGIAN Model 1914 Browning semiautomatic pistol #1060 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Kongsbergg in 1919.  Very Good condition, quite attractive with most bluing intact and no external pitting.  Bore is quite pitted (from shooting corrosive ammo) but lands are present and it still shoots quite well (any Colt 1911 replacement barrel will fit perfectly)..  All-matching numbers (and every tiny piece is numbered).  8+1 round mag (unlikely to be Norwegian), with very nice checkered-walnut grips.  No import marks, a handsome example of a scarce pistol.  PHOTO . . . $875.   C&R 

SPANISH "Martian" semiautomatic pistol # 286 (.25 ACP), mfg. by Martin Bascaran, Eibar from 1914 to 1916.  Excellent condition, with 98% Bluing and near-perfect mirror bore.  An extremely small pocket-pistol, it was very well-made with a pop-up front-sight (indicating whether or not the chamber was loaded) and a unique method of takedown by pulling down the rear of the triggerguard. Markings consist of AUTOMATIC PISTOL "MARTIAN" / CAL 6.35mm on left side of the slide along with MAB monogram in oval, black checkered bakelite grips embossed with MARTIAN and MAB monogram. Magazine holds six rounds.  No import-marks, scarce (especially in this condition). PHOTO . . . $325.   C&R  SOLD

SPANISH Model 900 "Broomhandle-type" semiautomatic pistol # 17187 (7.63x25 Mauser) mfg. by Astra in 1929.  Very Good Plus, with around 90% original bluing.  Bore is slightly pitted but has  strong rifling. Legend on left sideplate reads "ASTRA" AUTOMATIC PISTOL CAL 763 over PATENTED JULY . 12 . 1928.   Nice original walnut grips with 12 serrations, includes lanyard-ring at bottom. This is an updated version of the venerated 1896 Broomhandle, with some changes in the original design and access to the "innards" by way of a sliding sideplate on the left side of the frame.   PHOTOS . . . $625. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 57 Tokarev semiautomatic pistol #E-53737 (7.62x25), mfg. by Zastava after 1957. Near Excellent condition, quite good-looking with 90% or more bluing intact (some wear on front & back-strap from use).  All-matching numbers, with bold Yugoslavian crest atop back of slide.  Bore is quite heavily pitted, but is shootable (replacement Tokarev barrels fit perfectly, are easily acquired and are cheap). Black-plastic grips have letters S F R J around star in center. This very rare variant of the Tokarev  uses 9-round magazines (as opposed to 8-round mags).  The small numbers stamped on the right side of the slide, frame and trigger are parts-numbers.  Not import-marked, rare (only the second specimen I have ever seen offered for sale in the past 30 years).   PHOTO . . . $725.   not C&R 

RIFLES

BRITISH Martini-Enfield Mark IV long-lever single-shot rifle #2412A (.577/450) mfg. by Enfield in 1887.   Very Good PLUS condition, a quite nice example with full external bluing (turning a bit brown on the triggerguard and barrel-bands, the bolt and cocking-lever color case-hardened).  The bore is very strong and bright, and the wood has it's original finish with razor-sharp cartouches of KIRKEE ARSENAL on the right side. No import-marks, a nice shootable Martini of colonial Indian provenance.  PHOTOS . . . $850.   antique, no FFL required 

BRITISH Model P-14 Mk.I "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 21024 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystone in early 1916.   Excellent-Plus, an absolutely original example with full arsenal oil-blacking on metal and a really gorgeous literally perfect mirror bore.  Left-side of receiver-rail and left side of wood stamped EY, which indicates it's suitability to be used as a grenade-launcher (but no evidence that it ever has been used as such). Wood is the original "fatboy" type with forend swell instead of finger-grooves. Volley-sights intact, all-matching numbers on major components.  American black-walnut furniture is in excellent overall condition with original finish and just a few scrapes, scratches and digs from handling and storage. Cartouches on right side razor-sharp. Absolutely the finest example of an original early  P-14 that I have ever encountered, worthy of the finest collection.  Not import-marked.  PHOTO . . . $575.   C&R    SOLD

BRITISH Model P-14 Mk.I*  "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 131104 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystone in mid 1916.   Near Excellent, nearly full arsenal oil-blacking on metal, but much of the black-painted finish chipped off.  Has a really gorgeous mirror bore.  Wooden-plug on right side filling-in unit-disk hole, pointer from front volley-sight and rear volley-peep removed during Weedon refurbishing. Bolt numbered beneath handle to match. Wood is near excellent overall with some scuffs from handling and storage and wood all matching in color.  Arsenal-repair at top of heel. CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action long rifle #G8281 (7x57) mfg. by Ludwig Loewe in 1895.   Excellent-Plus, literally as-new with all matching numbers (including cleaning-rod), 100% original bluing with very strong crest above the chamber.  Wood has a few  compressions and handling marks on the wood with a 2" dig on left side next to front barrel-band.  Absolutely gorgeous streaked walnut buttstock has a deep tigerstripe figure, completely original finish and a very strong and deep acceptance-cartouche dated 1895 on the left side (as well as smaller cartouches all over). Bore is absolutely  mirror-perfect and there are no import-marks. Without a doubt the finest specimen of this type I have ever seen or can imagine.  PHOTO . . . $750.  Antique, no FFL needed  SOLD

FRENCH Model 1916 Berthier bolt-action carbine #G10571 (8x50R Lebel) mfg. by Chattelerault during WWI, replacement N-chambered barrel mfg. in 1932.   Very Good Plus, with about 80% original bluing, bolt and triggerguard match each other, barrel and stock numbered G10908.   Excellent strong and very bright bore, wood has original finish after rework. GERMAN Model Kar-88 bolt-action Commission carbine #4409d (8mm) mfg. by V.C. Schilling, Suhl in 1890.  Very Good PLUS condition, with 80% thinning bluing (receiver in the white, as is proper, barrel-bands and nose-cap have almost no remaining bluing).  All-matching numbers (and nearly every tiny piece, screw, etc. is numbered 09) with all markings extremely strong. Some scattered pitting (likely from blood) at top-rear of receiver. Near-excellent bright S-marked bore, barrel-band has unit-markings 12 . D . 4 . 55 on right side.  Bolt-handle of the "spoon" type with checkered underside. Lovely streaked-walnut stock sanded long-ago with only a few scratches in it since, approx. 1: thin crack at back of tang. Not perfect, but extremely handsome and quite scarce in anything other than "relic" condition.  I would not hesitate to shoot this little fella.  Not import-marked.  PHOTO . . . $475.   Antique, no FFL needed   SOLD

GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action Mauser rifle #8933n (8mm) mfg. by Gustloff Werke (code bcd 4) in 1944.  Very Good PLUS condition, with 80% thinning bluing and all-matching numbers with intact Waffen-Ampts and Nazi eagles.  Excellent mirror-bore, laminated stock with bold eagle/H Nazi cartouche on right side, no cleaning-rod, sight-hood or sling. Duffle-bag cut 1 1/4" behind second barrel-band, indicating it being a U.S.G.I. "bringback" from the German front. PHOTO . . . $750.   C&R   SOLD

JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka rifle, Series 20, #61398 (7.7x58) mfg. by Kokura in c.1941.  Near Excellent condition with nearly full deep bluing and matching numbers on bolt and internal bolt parts (except extractor), rear-sight mismatched. Near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore, original unsanded wood finish. Mum has been ground, and it is missing the usual extraneous parts (cleaning-rod, aricraft-sights, monopod & action-cover). Some dings and scratches in wood finish from handling and storage.  Not import-marked.   PHOTO . . . $195.   C&R     SOLD

PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1929-1931. Excellent condition, virtually unissued with all-matching numbers. Internally perfect with a perfect bore, slight rubbing on external metal (mostly where bayonet was been mounted and removed several times and rifle was leaned against rack), wood has some contact-marks and abrasions from palletizing and several light scratches, but it has little original oil-stained finish and the wood-grain is not particularly exciting.  These are the best-possible shooters in 8mm, with incredible workmanship. SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle #18434 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf  in 1943. Very Good condition with 70% or so bluing, with all matching numbers.  Bore-disc reads 6.50/3 and close examination does show that the bore is pitted (but it still seems to shoot very well).  We will include FREE of charge a new barrel for this rifle with a perfect bore. Wood has original finish and is frankly a bit banged-up scratches and a few digs but no cracks. INCLUDES new barrel with perfect bore and rolled spare-parts kit.  PHOTOS  . . . $450.   C&R   SOLD

U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action rifle #882428 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in July, 1918.   A Near Excellent condition non-rework with nearly full original blued finish. Bore is virtually perfect and mirror-bright, all components stamped with E for Eddystone (a Remington-owned former locomotive-factory located in Pennsylvania). American black-walnut furniture has quite a few handling-marks but retains its original finish.  Barrel is original E 7-18 marked, not import-marked. PHOTOS  . . . $475.   C&R    SOLD

VENEZUELAN Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle #7228 (7x57) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in c.1953.   Excellent condition, with 98% original painted finish (stoving) and mirror-perfect bore. All-matching numbers, Venezuelan crest on receiver is extremely bold and beautiful, with slotted muzzle-break.  Extremely lovely streaked-walnut stock has literally no handling-marks but was lightly sanded in the distant past, faint FUERZAS ARMADAS VENEZUELA ("Venezuelan Armed Forces") cartouche.
