RIFLES

U.S.A.  Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle #5706280 (.30-06) mfg. by Harrington & Richardson (H&R) in early 1955 with a LMR barrel dated 9/54.  Excellent condition with virtually 100% uniformly greenish-gray Parkerizing on all metal parts, a mirror-perfect bore, and a bright chamber.  This is an exceptional CMP Service Grade rifle (with CMP papers and box) refurbished at the Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in June, 1966 and not handled or issued since. No heat-lot code on receiver, dash 12SA bolt, 6535382 op-rod.  Trigger-group has HRA body, WRA milled triggerguard, IHC hammer and dash 9SA safety. Handguards are walnut, buttstock is birch with P in square stamped under grip.  Wood all appears to be new and has several dents from metal parts of adjacent rifles when piled for storage. . . $750.   C&R    SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant EX PU SNIPER bolt-action rifles (7.62x54R) manufactured by Izhevsk 1943-1944.  Rifles have excellent bright bores and most external bluing present. These snipers were converted back to infantry rifles by the Albanians with mismatched straight-bolts (though the magazine-floorplates and buttplates have often been re-stamped to match the receiver). The four scope-mount-screws are still in left side of receiver, but apparently the mounts themselves were torched or ground off and the external area nicely refinished.  Most actions were then mounted into non-sniper wood which is decent but may have a couple small arsenal-repairs and some digs and dings from storage since. No cleaning-rods, headspace has been checked. I know of several instances where customers, without much trouble (as the receivers have already been drilled and tapped) have reconverted these back to sniper rifles. . .
External bluing Good to Very Good (50-70%). . . $65.
C&R (have several)

       External bluing Excellent (95-98%). . . $85.  C&R (have several)

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant EX PU SNIPER bolt-action rifles (7.62x54R), exactly as above, but manufactured by Tula arsenal in 1943 with CH (sniper) stamped on barrel-shank (Izhevsk snipers do not have this feature). Average VG condition with excellent bores. . . $95.   C&R (have several) SOLD OUT

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant EX PE SNIPER bolt-action rifle #94524 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula arsenal in 1934 with octagonal receiver and C(Pi) stamped on barrel-shank.  These early PE sniper rifles used a top-mount that affixed to both sides of the receiver with three screws on each side (now filled-in) and the wood on both sides was slightly inlet at that point as well.  (PHOTO)   Overall VG+ condition, with excellent (95%) bluing on metal and really nice, bright and strong bore, includes cleaning-rod.  Mismatched straight bolt, buttplate restamped to match receiver. Original PE-sniper buttstock scuffed-up but can be made to look nice with little effort. Rare. . . $200.   C&R  SOLD

RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant EX PE SNIPER bolt-action rifle #10376 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula arsenal in 1937 with round receiver and C(Pi) stamped on barrel-shank, double-dated 1937/51 with MO marking (Ministry of Defense) (PHOTO).  These early PE sniper rifles used a top-mount that affixed to both sides of the receiver, the screw-holes have now been filled-in.  Overall VG+ condition, with excellent (95%) bluing on metal and really nice, bright and strong bore.  Mismatched straight bolt, buttplate and magazine-floorplate restamped to match receiver, includes cleaning-rod. Wood a bit scuffed-up with an arsenal-repair at tip but otherwise is sound and looks quite decent. Rare. . . $250.   C&R   SOLD
