    BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # AC7150 (.303 British) mfg. by B.S.A. Shirley in 1943. Near Excellent condition with almost full external finish. Bolt and stock matches receiver, 4-groove bore strong and mirror-bright, bolt head stamped 0. Rear sight is stamped ladder type.  Birch stock is really nice and very attractive, with correct web sling.. Serial number on receiver weakly struck. PHOTOS . . . $375.     C&R     SOLD

    BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.2 bolt-action rifle # A3907 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955.  Excellent-PLUS condition, basically an all-matching new "Irish-contract" rifle that was unwrapped from cosmoline, cleaned, and perhaps fired a few times. Perfect mirror-bore, nice metal and wood (a few contact marks but nothing major). All-matching numbers, nearly as nice as is obtainable for these. PHOTOS . . . $750.     C&R     SOLD

    CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # A62770 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ Bystrica in 1957. Near Excellent condition with most original blued finish intact (badly faded on magazine) and a mirror-bright and very strong bore. Stock has the usual hairline cracks at sides.     EGYPTIAN "Hakim" semiautomatic rifle # 1380 (8x57) mfg. by Maadi in 1957 . Excellent condition, over 90% original bluing with a mirror-bright very strong bore. Beech stock was nicely refinished a couple decades ago (by Kurt Ellison) and has only a few no handling-marks since. Includes removable 10-round magazine. PHOTOS . . . $750.    C&R    SOLD

    FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 140726 (7.62x54R)  barrel mfg. by Remington in 1917 on a unknown hex receiver stamped with AZF (Austrian capture mark). Very Good or better condition with most bluing intact and  has a somewhat strong and bright bore (has been counterbored at muzzle). No matching numbers, includes cleaning-rod, one-piece Russian stock is in quite good condition with the expected heavy dings. PHOTOS . . . $450.      C&R    SOLD

    FINN Model 24 "Lotta" Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 16920 (7.62x54R) stepped barrel mfg. by Böhler-Stahl in 1924 on a unknown hex receiver. Very Good or better condition with most bluing intact and  has a somewhat strong and bright bore (stepped barrel not counterbored at muzzle). Bolt body wrongly stamped 16902. Includes cleaning-rod, one-piece Russian stock is in quite good condition with the expected dings, includes Finn green-leather sling with rectangular buckle, left flat of the receiver stamped S100069.     FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 23153 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula in 1935 on a hex receiver.  Excellent condition with full bluing and an excellent near-mirror bore that has been counterbored at muzzle to improve accuracy.  Bolt-body numbered 6153 to match barrel. barrel is stamped [SA] and 41 by the Finns.  Two piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has some marks from handling and storage.     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 228172 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1942.  Excellent condition with full bluing and an excellent near-mirror bore.  Both bolt-knob and magazine floorplate numbered 8172 to match.     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 63203 (7.62x54R), mfg. by VKT in 1944.  Very Good or so condition, has some external wear from actual use but bore is excellent and very bright.  Bolt-knob numbered 2303 to match. Two piece wartime stock (rounded finger-joints) has SAKO and crossed-cannons cartouche on right side and shows some marks from handling and storage.     FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # K4482 (7.35 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1939. Overall an Excellent example, metal in excellent condition with full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore, fixed rear sight marked 7.35. Buttstock also cartouched 7.35 and serial number matches receiver with some of the expected handling marks from actual service use with brown-leather sling. Not import-marked, a very handsome example, scarce. It appears that the barrel was recycled from an earlier rifle (in 6.5 Carcano) . PHOTOS . . . . $350.    C&R  

    FINN Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # YE4385 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1940 and [SA] (Finnish capture) marked on left side of receiver. Very Good condition, much bluing faded  with a strong mostly bright bore. No matching numbers (as usual for Finn SVT's), receiver is grooved for scope-mount, features 12-slot muzzle-break. Includes cleaning-rod and 10-round magazine (also with [SA] stamp on floorplate) as well as rare gas-tool stamped <VKT> and [SA]. Not import marked. PHOTOS . . . $1250.    C&R   SOLD

    FRENCH Model 1936-51 MAS bolt-action rifle # F30954 (7.5x54 MAS) mfg. by St. Ettienne in 1954. Excellent-PLUS, arsenal AS-NEW condition with full Parkerized finish on all metal and a nice wood stock (a couLottaple scratches on bottom). Strong, mirror-bright bore, all stamped serial numbers match. Includes grenade-launcher and integral spike-bayonet as well as correct leather sling. PHOTOS . . . $375.  C&R        SOLD

    NORWEGIAN Model 1912 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action carbine # 19453 (6.5x55) mfg. by Kronsburg Vapenfabrikk in 1918, with correct bayonet. Very Good condition, with 50% or better original bluing, all-matching numbers (except bayonet), cleaning-rod missing, very strong markings, and a really gorgeous bright-bore. Stock and handguard appears to have its original finish along with the expected dings from actual use.  These are very rare carbines, with only a few thousand having been made and few survived the Nazi occupation during WWII, not import marked.     PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # R9712 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1939. Excellent condition, with all-matching numbers. Gorgeous chrome-lined bore, includes blade bayonet and cleaning rod. Stock has dings and scratches from adjacent rifles but no repairs, 7122 stamped on left side of handguard.     SPANISH Model 1916 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # Z4369 (7.62 NATO), mfg. by Oviedo in c.1940 with bent-bolt and bold Civil Guard crest above chamber. Excellent condition, with 95% or better original bluing on all parts. Has a mirror-perfect bore, stock has a few old dings and scratches but is otherwise sound.     SWEDISH Model 96 bolt-action Mauser infantry rifle # 146940 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1904, with straight bolt and unthreaded muzzle.  Excellent condition, about 90% external bluing with mirror-bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.53/2), all-matching numbers except for cleaning rod.     SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 609241 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1941 with bent-bolt and threaded muzzle, Good to Very Good external condition, with very little original bluing on barrel (likely from overaggressive cleaning). Has a mirror-perfect bore, stock disk stamped 6.49/1.  Rear sight is early type (100-600 meters), bolt (and all bolt parts) matches receiver, nothing else is numbered.     SWEDISH Model AG42B Ljungmann semiautomatic rifle # 29692 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1945. Excellent condition with 95% or better original bluing. Includes cleaning-rod, bore is excellent and mirror-bright with a 6.48/2 stamped bore-disk. Wood is beech with a few of the usual handling-marks and scuffs.     U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgenson bolt-action infantry rifle # 265482 (.30 Government) mfg. by Springfield Armory in June, 1900. Very Good condition, with 70% mottled bluing on metal with very sharp markings and a bright very strong bore. Original military configuration with ladder rear sight.
