    AUSTRALIAN No.2 Mk.IV* bolt-action single-shot training rifle # C56536 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal in 1941 as a No.1 Mk.III* rifle, and converted to .22 LR in June 1948.   Excellent condition with full oil-blacked finish and quite bright and strong bore. All matching serial numbers. Wood  has a number of scrapes and gouges as well as very bold 1948-dated cartouches on the right side of butt. Very rare. PHOTOS . . . $695.    C&R     SOLD

    BRITISH Mark V Enfield bolt-action trials rifle # 2793 (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1922.   Near Excellent condition, with over 80% military finish (a few minor areas of external pitting).  Has matching bolt, stock forend and nose-cap, with a mirror-bright and very strong 4-groove bore.  Includes large square receiver aperture sight and magazine-cutoff.  Stock  Not import-marked, scarce transitional model between the No.1 SMLE and the No.4 Enfield series of rifles.  PHOTOS . . . $975.   C&R    SOLD

    BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # Y6430 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in December, 1946. Excellent condition, with 95% black enamel finish.     CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 27L3810 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1943. Excellent-PLUS condition, with full original finish on all metal parts and an excellent mirror-bright bore with a 4-groove barrel. Bolt is matching, as is deeply-stamped stock and magazine  with 0-marked bolt head. Stock is pristine with really lovely finish, rear sight is the milled ladder variety.     CHINESE Model 56 SKS semiautomatic rifle # 11145579 (7.62x39),  mfg. by Factory 26 (undated).   Excellent-PLUS (literally unissued) condition, with 100% or better original blued finish, chromed bore is mirror-perfect and very strong.  Stock has only a few minor dings. Imported in 1992 when rifles with attached bayonets could not be imported, the cruciform bayonet has been removed and there is some minor corrosion at the muzzle end not affecting the chromed muzzle.     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 28312 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1941 by VKT. Excellent condition with 95% or better original bluing. Bolt-knob matching. bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Wartime stock (rounded finger joints) has some dings and handling marks, bold SAKO cartouche on right side, remnants of Finn arsenal-tag tied on rear sling swivel. Very attractive.     FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 37791 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 with B marked barrel (Fabrique Nationale) on a post-1898 receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% or better bluing. Bolt-knob numbered 7791 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate not matching (as usual). Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod. Postwar stock (squared finger-joints) has a few minor scuffs and tiny impressions but is otherwise as new.   PHOTOS . . . $625.    C&R 

    FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 304612 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1970. Excellent-PLUS condition with all bluing intact on all metal parts and a mirror- bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching or scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod. Postwar buttstock looks to be NEW with a few light dings and scrapes.     FRENCH Model 1936-51 MAS bolt-action rifle # G16749 (7.5x54mm) mfg. by St. Ettienne in August 1957. Excellent-PLUS (literally UNISSUED) condition, with 99% or better dark Parkerized finish on all metal.  Mirror-bright bore, all matching numbers, including the stock.  Stock and handguard have very few handling marks and look new.     SWISS Model K-11 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 158634 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1927. All-matching numbers including magazine. Very Good condition with 80% or better bluing and a perfect, mirror bore. Wood is walnut with its original finish and plenty of small handling-marks.     U.S.A. Model 1903 Mark I Springfield bolt-action rifle # 1159630 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in December 1919.   Excellent condition with 95% gray Parkerizing on all metal. A decent example with bright and strong original 12-19 dated SA four-groove bore and scant walnut stock with numerous minor dings and handling marks, rack number 9030 stamped on right side.     U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 210183 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in Fall, 1918. Excellent condition with 90% original Parkerized finish on metal and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore, barrel stamped JA (Johnson Automatics).     U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 180361 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Inland (General Motors) in late 1942 with 12-42 dated  Inland barrel.  EXCELLENT-PLUS condition, metal has been perfectly refinished and stock has zero handling marks.  This very early carbine has all late features (after obvious refurbishment in the late 1940's), bore is mirror bright with 2.5 muzzle-wear.     YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48 Mauser bolt-action rifle # M25877 (8x57mm) mfg. c.1950. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% bluing. Bore is very sharp and mirror-bright, all-matching serial numbers, extremely bold Yugo crest above chamber. Teak stock has no finish and just a few dings and handling-marks.
