BRAZILIAN Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2312e (7x57mm) mfg. by DWM Berlin in c.1909. Near Excellent condition, with 90% bluing (receiver in also blued), bore is bright and strong. Very Good condition, with bright and strong 4-groove bore, full bluing on receiver and barrel, magazine and barrel-bands heavily browned from contact with sweaty palms. All serialized parts are matching (bolt handle & bottom of magazine), no other parts are numbered. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # BE12038 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1943. Good to Very Good condition, with bright and strong 4-groove bore, worn external metal (especially small parts, which are browned or silver). CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 5069 O3 (8x57) mfg. by CZ in 1935. Very Good or netter condition with 3-line factory address atop chamber. Full external bluing has some patina from age. The bore is quite strong and mostly bright, all matching serial numbers on every numbered part. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC Model 1953 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 0397 (7x57mm), mfg. in 1959. Very Good or so condition, with 80% or better faded and browned bluing on all metal parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore. Brazilian Mauser bolt has been inscribed 0397 to match (no other parts are numbered on these), walnut stock & handguard has considerable handling marks including some minor loss of wood on right side of receiver. Not import-marked, very scarce in original 7mm (most were later rechambered to .30-06). Very scarce. GERMAN Model Gewehr 88/15 bolt-action Commission rifle # 299h (8x57i) mfg. by Loewe in 1891. Very Good condition, with 75% thinning and browning bluing. No matching serial numbers (as usual), no signs of Turkish usage. Excellent bright and strong bore (marked with S), still retains its (slightly dented) barrel-jacket. Includes cleaning rod and detachable rear sling swivel, decent walnut stock which has a small ding (with very small loss of wood) on left forend.

Good to Very Good condition, external metal somewhat weathered and turned to a crusty brown. This is an all matching (down to the locking scres and stock) WWI rifle except for the bolt, which someone (most likely the previous owner) stamped 8535 to match. The "lange vizir" rear sight is intact and works perfectly. Bore is strong and bright down to the chamber area (which is very rough and could us a good cleaning). HUNGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 560M (8x50R original caliber) mfg. by Budapest (barrel dated 1915). Very Good or so condition, not arsenal refinished with full bluing having some patina on surface. Bore is excellent and mostly bright, walnut stock has quite a lot of dings and scratches. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # R7714 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1939 (1317 Anno Hijera). Near Excellent condition, with all-matching serial numbers. Internally perfect with a mirror-perfect bore. Wood is walnut and is sound but with many scrapes and dings in the finish (one of SAMCO's "B-Grades"). Not pretty at all (but could be made to be with a little effort and skill).

SIAMESE Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 36466 (8x56R Siamese), mfg. by Koishikawa Arsenal (Japan) in 1903 with straight-bolt. Excellent or better condition, with 95% or better original bluing on all parts. Includes sliding action-cover and cleaning rod, ramp of rear sight has been ground down to accommodate the rechambering from 8x52R. Bore is mirror bright with strong rifling. SOVIET Model 38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # PB9385 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1942. Excellent arsenal refinished condition, with 96% or better bluing on all metal parts. All matching STAMPED serial serial numbers (without letter prefixes). Bore is somewhat bright with strong rifling (has been counterbored at muzzle). SWISS Model K-11 Schmidt-Rubin cavalry carbine # 71733 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1918 and privatized in 1927. All-matching serial numbers except magazine (which is from a G11). Very Good condition with 75% bluing remaining (much less on magazine) and a shiny and strong bore. Walnut stock and handguard has original finish with only a few of the usual scuffs and handling marks but a nasty scratch on the left side. SWISS Model K-11 Schmidt-Rubin cavalry carbine # 185668 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1930 and privatized in 1937.. All-matching serial numbers except magazine (which is from a G11). Very Good condition with 75% bluing remaining (much less on magazine) and a shiny and strong bore. Walnut stock and handguard has original finish with many of the usual scuffs and handling marks and a repair on right side of tang. TURKISH Model Gewehr 88/05 bolt-action Commission rifle # 10254 (8x57mm) mfg. by German military arsenals in the early 1890's, and re-stamped at Ankara in 1939. Near Excellent or better condition, metal has full bluing. Tangent rear sight has Western numerals, bolt has been force-matched 0254 (by who, I don't know), otherwise no matching serial numbers (as usual). Strong and extremely bright bore, the 05 modification eliminates the need of charger clips. Walnut buttstock has some of the expected handling marks, but is sound. Barrel-jacket has been removed (when re-barreled in 1939), and wooden handguard has been added (which matches up with the stock quite perfectly). Very Good condition, with most browned bluing remaining. Rear sight numbered 13267 to match, otherwise no matching serial numbers (as usual for a rework). Very Good condition, with most browned bluing remaining. Rear sight has Arabic numerals and has rare MATCHING BOLT (# 482). Bore is somewhat bright and very strong, completely functional, includes cleaning-rod and worn leather sling tied on with leather thongs. Bore is a little rough with strong rifling, completely functional. No cleaning-rod, stock is walnut and has diagonal hairline cracks on each side by tang and a small crack on left side of forend (both easily repairable, rifle is priced accordingly). U.S.A. Model 1903 Mark I Springfield bolt-action rifle # 1142194 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in late 1919. Excellent condition with 98% deep bluing on all metal. A very nice example with bright and strong 5-44 dated HS (High Standard) four-groove replacement barrel. Bore looks new and is mirror-bright (TE = 2.5, MW = 1.5), Nice walnut stock has very few dings and very little evidence of actual use, last four digits of serial number (2194) stamped on right side.
