AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 6429E (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr. Excellent-PLUS condition, arsenal refinished with full bluing. Bore is very strong and extremely bright. Top of  bolt stamped 6429 to match, wood has very attractive figure with very few handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $450.     C&R   SOLD

BRAZILIAN REBELLION Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 5019f (7x57) mfg. by DWM  in 1910.  Very Good condition with 60% bluing. Straight bolt and magazine floorplate not matching, bore is mostly bright with very strong rifling, muzzle has been professionally crowned. Weak Brazilian crest above chamber, right side of receiver deeply stamped PM 10074 .31 (Policia Militar with their new rack number). Walnut buttstock and handguard has original finish, long thin crack in handguard. Missing cleaning-rod and (detachable rear sling-swivel. PHOTOS . . . $325.    C&R    SOLD

BRAZILIAN REBELLION Model vz24 JC Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 1330 (7x57) mfg. by Brno  in c.1930.  Very Good condition with 75% bluing. Straight bolt and buttstock not matching (no other parts numbered), bore is extremely bright with very strong rifling, muzzle has been professionally crowned. Three-line Brno address above chamber, right side of receiver deeply stamped PM 08594 (Policia Militar with their new rack number). BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # W642 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in May, 1946. Very Good  PLUS condition, with somewhat n external finish. All matching serial numbers throughout, has very strong and bright 5-groove bore and 0-marked bolt-head. Stock has original finish with some of the expected handling marks but no damage. CANADIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 46L0416 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1943.  Only Good condition, with very little bluing remaining on metal (much of it coated with yellowing lacquer of some kind). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright. Bolt is not numbered, magazine crudely stamped 460416 to match. Stock is sound (a Greek name lightly scratched on right side). CHINESE Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 238634 (7.62x39), made at Factory 26 in 1958 with blade-bayonet. Very Good condition overall, metal has wear with 60% original bluing, stock has normal handling marks from a actual use and storage. All matching serial numbers (including the stock) except for triggerguard. Has gorgeous chrome-lined bore. One of the recent imports from Albania whose date can be proven to be a Curio & Relic. CHILEAN Model 1912-61 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # D5702 (arsenal rechambered to 7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Steyr in 1912. Good condition, with 40% or so bluing (receiver "in the white" as is proper), and a very strong mirror-bright bore. No matching serial numbers. Wood has sharp 1912-dated Chilean cartouche and a TON of handling-narks (could use a good refinishing to look pretty), missing cleaning-rod but has rear (detatchable) sling swivel. CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # G66734 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ Bystrica in 1956. Very Good condition with much original Parkerized finish intact with a strong mostly bright bore. Includes folding bayonet and dual-purpose front sight hood.  Stock and handguard have some cracks on sides and at wrist (usual for these) with a battered and cracked handguard. GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 4254t (8x57) mfg. by Gustloff Werke (code bcd 43 ) in 1943.  A Russian-capture in Excellent condition, with 95% or so bluing with bold Nazi eagles (which unfortunately have the swastikas pinged). Parts matched by electropenciled numbers by the Russians, has all-milled parts, bore is very strong and mirror-bright. Has laminated buttstock and handguard with blued cupped buttplate. INDIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # 15391N (.303 British), mfg. by Rifle Factory Ishapore in 1964.  Very Good or so condition with much oil-blacked finish on external metal. Bore is very bright and strong, all matching serial numbers on all numbered parts. Stock has the expected handling marks, "Ishie screw" present, small arsenal repairs to underside of stock and heel of butt.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R    SOLD

JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 5, # 4388 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in mid 1943. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing (some minor areas of verdigris) and has very bright and strong chrome-lined bore. Mum has been ground, missing cleaning rod, no provision for monopod. Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered 388. Stock has original finish with some of the expected handling marks. Not import-marked. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 10, # 30875 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in late 1944. Very Good or so condition with much original finish intact. Bluing is thin and finish is poor, but this late in the war making pretty weapons was not a priority at all. Bore (not chrome-lined) is somewhat bright and strong. Heavily ground mum, has cylindrical bolt-handle with welded safety, bolt and all bolt parts numbered 726 (not matching). No cleaning rod (never had one), buttplate is wooden. Many scratches and dings in stock finish with thin crack by left recoil lug. Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $275.    C&R

SOUTH AFRICAN Enfield No.4 Mk.1* bolt-action rifle # 17L9644 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch in 1942 with large South African property mark ( inside U) atop chamber. Excellent condition with full bluing on metal and all-matching serial numbers. 2-groove bore extremely strong and mirror-bright. Rear sight is of the L-shaped flip-up type. Beech stock and handguards have some superficial handling-marks but otherwise shows little signs of wear, Canadian cartouches (arrow in C) on bottom of both butt and forend. SOVIET Model 38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # HT8940 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1943. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror bright bore (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Bolt not matching, remainder of numbered parts force-matched with numerals only. Has M38 stock just a few handling marks and two small arsenal repairs on right side of forend. SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # GK5418 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1944.  Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). A genuine Tulsky import with all full matching serial numbers, 1944-dated PU scope numbered 440401. Includes correct sling, optics of scope very sharp and clear. PHOTOS . . . $1250.     C&R   SOLD

SPANISH Model 1893 long rifle # 2X3281 (7x57mm) made by Oviedo in 1928. Near Excellent condition, with 90% or better original blued finish. Mismatched bolt, but remaining numbered parts stamped 3281. Bore is very bright and strong. Walnut stock has some dings and other marks to be expected of a 90 year-old military rifle that saw service. SPANISH Model 1921 Destroyer bolt-action carbine # 35495 (9x23 Largo) mfg. by Ayra Duria in 1962 (Eibar date-code H1). Excellent-PLUS condition with perfect bluing throughout. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-26298 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1950. Excellent condition, with 98% Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Model 788 bolt-action rifle # B6050405 (.308 Winchester) mfg. by Remington in 1973.   Excellent-PLUS condition, essentially NEW but no box or paperwork.  Has new professionally mounted BARSKA 6.5-20x50 Varmint scope and detachable 3-round magazine. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # D3201 (8mm) mfg. by Nazi arsenals during WWII and refurbished by Zastava in c.1950. Excellent-PLUS condition, a large-ring standard-length Mauser with 99% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces and a mirror bright and strong bore. Very bold Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. Mismatched (but correct) bolt, with all stamped small parts. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48A Mauser bolt-action rifle # P58176 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in 1952. Excellent condition, full external bluing on all metal components and a sharp mirror-bore. Clear Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber, underside of bolt-knob flattened. All matching serial numbers. Stock has some handling marks and a few dings but is sound. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 A1 SKS semiautomatic rifle # I-323379 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1972. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing, a likely perfect bore (currently still filled with cosmoline) and all-matching serial numbers with integral bayonet, non-ported grenade-launcher and night-sights. Much of the original cosmoline is still present (needs a good cleaning). Wood is almost perfect (some areas of superficial rubbing in finish), includes cleaning-rod. Absolutely gorgeous.
