BRITISH Model Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 605530 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystone in 1914.   Excellent or better condition, with over 95% original blued finish and a mirror-bright and strong bore, top of bolt handle stamped 605530 to match receiver (a British practice, as the bolts were originally not numbered).  Wood is in Excellent overall condition with very few handling-marks. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.1* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 84C7396 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1943. Near Excellent condition, with mostly full Parkerized surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore.  Matching bolt with 0-marked bolt-head, all parts marked with square-S (for Savage). Rear sight is L-shaped flip type.  US PROPERTY marked on receiver. Wood has some handling marks and short butt. Very attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $575.      C&R

BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1/2 bolt-action rifle # U13572 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1942 and converted to the Mk.2 configuration at Fazakerly in 1957. Very Good condition, serial numbers of bolt and magazine matches receiver, 4-groove bore extremely strong and mostly bright. Rear sight is of the stamped  ladder type. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # V2578 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in March, 1946.  Very Good or better condition, with most finish intact on external metal.  Bolt number faint (but does not match receiver). has mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. CZECH Model vz22 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # E1675 (8x57) mfg. by CZ in 1923.  Good or better condition (nearly all external blue faded or worm) with curved 3-line legend atop receiver. Bolt not numbered, remaining parts numbered 75 to match receiver. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong, includes cleaning rod. Rear sight has Arabic numerals (Turkish contract). CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # R62494 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ in 1956. An Excellent example, has been reblued with most finish intact and a very bright strong bore. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 223213 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915.  Excellent condition with 95% bluing and very sharp barrel markings. No matching serial numbers, Matching bolt, bore is very bright and strong  (and has NOT been counterbored at muzzle).  Includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 77549 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1934 on a 1914 dated Izhevsk hexagonal receiver. Very Good condition with 70% or better bluing on all metal parts. Bolt-body numbered 77549 (matching), magazine-floorplate and buttplate not matching (as usual).  Bore is mirror-bright and very strong, (has NOT been counterbored). FINN Model 28 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 10140 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by S.I.G. on an 1895-dated Izhevsk receiver. Good or better condition with little original bluing remaining on upper receiver or barrel, triggerguard and magazine-floorplate has full blued finish. Bolt-body numbered 17107 (not matching),  Civil Guard # on right side of barrel-shank stamped S7219 (Civil Guard district of Raasepori, aka Raceborg, a town in South Western Finland).  Two-piece stock has some handling-marks, handguard looks new, missing cleaning rod.  PHOTOS . . . $550.    Antique, no FFL required    SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle #212868 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Sako in 1941 on an 1898-dated Tula receiver.  Excellent condition overall, with 98% bluing on the exposed parts of the receiver and triggerguard, bluing on receiver itself quite thin.  Bore is near excellent, quite bright and strong.  Matching bolt-knob,  WWII-era 3-piece buttstock and handguard has original finish with a few handling-marks including scuffs and digs.  This rifle is unusual as it has the number 2 stamped on the barrel-shank above the Sako gear-logo as well as a 2 cartouche stamped on the right side of the stock beneath small crossed-cannon stamp.  Includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 506870 (7.62x54R) with SK.Y marked barrel mfg. in 1943 by SAKO on a WWI-era Remington receiver.  Excellent condition with 95% or better remaining bluing.  Bolt-knob and magazine-floorplate stamped 6870 (matching).  Bore is extremely bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. Right side of barrel shank stamped S118210 (Civil Guard unit located at Oulu, a city of over 200.000 in Northern Finland).  Wartime stock (rounded finger joints) has a repaired crack at toe, with a bold 1942-dated Civil Guard cartouche on right side. FRENCH Model 1949 MAS semiautomatic rifle # F75015 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1953. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition, with all Parkerizing intact and no signs of wear or use. Has great mirror-bright bore, grenade launcher was removed when refurbished. Includes two 10-round magazines and refurbishment tag date 16 JAN 1989. GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 bolt-action infantry rifle # 629n (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser in 1917.  Very Good PLUS condition, metal has most bluing.  Bolt scrubbed (likely by the Turks), all parts except for bolt numbered 29 matching  receiver serial number. Turkish crescent-moon stamped only on bottom of stock (behind grip). Has a very strong and somewhat bright bore, with original totally-functional "roller coaster" rear sight. Includes cleaning rod. Beech buttstock was refinished long ago, with almost no handling marks since, faint German Imperial cartouches on right side. INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A14607 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1964. Excellent condition, with oil-blacked surfaces. All matching serial numbers (including magazine), bore is mirror bright and sharp. Stock has original finish with some contact marks, rear handguard has none of the usual small dovetailed repairs.  NOT chambered for .308 Winchester ammo (no matter what anyone else tells you, don't shoot .308 in this rifle). JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle # 1842161 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa Arsenal  in c.1926. Very Good condition with much original bluing with some light verdigris adhering in places, mixed serial (or assembly) numbers, intact mum. Strong bright bore, missing cleaning rod and sliding metal action-cover. Stock and handguard has original finish with many of the expected handling marks.  Not import marked. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 6, # 88355 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in late1943. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and bright and strong chrome-lined bore.  Mum has been heavily ground. All bolt parts numbered 355 to match receiver, has cylindrical bolt handle and proper cleaning rod with ladder peep rear sight. POLISH Model wz48 Mosin-Nagant single-shot bolt-action training rifle # KB03430 (.22 LR) mfg. by Radom in 1954. Very Good condition with 80% bluing on all metal parts and an excellent mirror-bright and strong bore. SOVIET Model 91/30 PE SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # HD3720 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1939.  Excellent-PLUS refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts stamped HA3720 (matching).  Reproduction 1934-dated Model 1931 scope has very clear optics, faithful reproduction PE  scope mount (2nd type, with round receiver) stamped 3720.  Stock and handguard has the inevitable scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, but is otherwise in nice shape. Original PE snipers are ridiculously rare. . . I have only seen three of them in the U.S. in the past three decades and only one was offered for sale for a LOT of money. SWEDISH Model 96 Mauser bolt-action TARGET rifle # 89027 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1901 with straight-bolt and ELIT aperture sights. Excellent condition, with 95% or better original bluing on all parts. Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (bore disk has been removed).  All visible serial numbered parts matching except for buttplate. SWISS Model 96/11 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 348935 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1912, stock marked BERN (the capitol of Switzerland). All-matching numbers including magazine.  Near Excellent condition, with most bluing intact,  bottom of magazine and triggerguard is quite rusted.  Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 4100732 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in September 1943. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better light gray Parkerizing on all metal. A gorgeous example with near-perfect RA 9-43 dated bore (TE=2.0, MW = 0.0). Stock has only a few handling marks, 0732 stamped on right side and inscribed on handle of bolt, boxed RIA (Rock Island Arsenal) cartouche on left side. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 357336 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in 1917. with an undated (WWII-era)  JA  (Johnson Automatics) barrel.  Excellent condition with 95% Parkerized finish on metal and a very strong and very bright bore. A mixture of manufacturer parts, bolt stamped W, stock ands safety stamped E. Stock has very few handling marks and two SAA (San Antonio Arsenal) cartouches on left side. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 24/47 Mauser bolt-action rifle # J7463 (8x57) mfg. by Zastava in c.1950. Excellent condition. This is a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 96% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces with little apparent wear and an excellent sharp mirror-bore. Somewhat weak Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. All matching serial numbers, with milled triggerguard and magazine-floorplate and straight bolt handle.
