AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry rifle # 4238Z (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr around 1915. Excellent condition, with at least 95% original finish remaining. Bore is somewhat bright and very strong. Stock, bolt and barrel matches receiver serial #, front band is numbered 7532 (crossed-through). BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # A8837 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955. Excellent-PLUS condition with 100% original Suncorite painted finish, all matching numbered parts (bolt, forend, magazine and bolt handle) smped A8837 (matching). Has a gorgeous mirror 4-groove bore with 1-marked bolt-head, rear sight is of the milled ladder type. Beech stock and handguards is pristine with zero handling marks. FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G67980 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1967. Excellent condition, with full Parkerizing. Has great mirror-bright bore. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 6729a (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser (code byf) in 1942. A refurbished Russian capture with full bluing and a mostly bright very strong bore. All metal parts elctropenciled 6729 to match, stock numbered on left side. Swastikas have been lightly pinged, buttstock is laminated with cupped buttplate. GERMAN Model G43 semiautomatic rifle # 6218i (8x57mm) mfg. by Walther (code ac) in 1944. Very Good condition, no matching-numbered bolt carrier, bottom of buttstock not matching. Very strong and extremely bright bore, 60% external finish, internal springs have been replaced with modern "shooter's package", Stock and handguard has been sanded and nicely refinished with only a few light scratches since. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-17693 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1956. Very Good or better condition, with 80% Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. SWEDISH Model 38 bolt-action Mauser short rifle # 98733 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1901 with BENT bolt and threaded muzzle (with screw-on cap). Excellent-PLUS refinished condition, all metal (except bolt) has a nice satin appearance. Has bright and strong bore (disk stamped 6.51/1), all visible parts serial numbered 733 except buttplate and rear sight. Walnut stock and handguard has been smoothed and nicely refinished. U.S.A. Model 1896 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action rifle # 97205 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in May, 1898. Very Good or better condition with weak mottled bluing throughout (does NOT appear to have been refinished). Bore is strong and bright (mw = 1.5). Stock cartouche illegible, some dings and handling marks, two diagonal hairline cracks at bottom of wrist (looks stable). Includes reproduction RIA leather sling. Not import-marked. U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action rifle # 425200 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in December, 1903. Excellent condition with full mottled bluing throughout (does NOT appear to have been refinished). Bore is extremely strong and bright (mw = 1.0) . Stock has very bold 1903-dated cartouche on left side and only a few dings and scratches (none of them unsightly). Includes reproduction RIA leather sling. Not import-marked. U.S.A. Model 1905 Mark II ROSS straight-pull bolt-action rifle # 2672 stamped on bottom of stock (.303 British) mfg. in Quebec in 1905. Excellent condition, a U.S. issue substitute standard rifle that had apparently never seen Canadian service, but has flaming bomb above U.S. atop serial number. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright. Has original complicated leaf-sight (stamped CANADIAN TOOL AND SPECALTY, NEW GLASGOW, N.B. on the back) and utilizes the novel "Harris Controlled Platform Magazine". None of the usual Canadian service cartouches on right side of buttstock, not import-marked. Includes uesd U.S. Model 1907 leather sling stamped B. T. & B. CO. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3160712 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in June 1942. Excellent condition with 98% deep bluing on all metal. A lovely example with bright and strong 6-42 dated RA four-groove barrel. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright (TE = 4.0, MW = 1.0), straight walnut stock has some minor dings and RA-P and RLB cartouches with vivid crossed cannon wheel.
