ARGENTINE Model 1909/47 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # 005224 (7.65x53) mfg. by F.M.A.P. (Rosario) in 1951. A Near Excellent example, with 90% bluing on all metal including receiver (likely an arsenal rework). Very bold Argentine crest above chamber. All-matching serial numbers on all parts (including stock) with a strong bore that isn't very bright. Walnut stock has some handling-marks (mostly small dings and scratches).  Not import marked. AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry rifle # 5947Y  (8x50R original caliber) barrel mfg. by Steyr in 1916.  Very Good or so condition, little original finish remaining on barrelled action and barrel-bands, barrel has different serial number (4481Q).  Bore is surprisingly bright and extremely strong. BELGIAN NAVY Model 24/50 Mauser bolt-action single-shot TRAINING rifle # 010 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in 1952.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or better original GRAY enamel Parkerized finish (indicating issue to Belgian Navy).  Bore virtually mirror-perfect, Crowned-B (for King Baudouin I, 1951-1993) with ABL and date 1952 atop receiver. Has peep-sight atop rear of receiver as well as tangent sight graduated from 25 to 200 meters. Bolt numbered 010 (matching), no cleaning rod. Walnut stock has original finish and only a few very light handling-marks (else pristine). CHILEAN Model 1912-61 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # B2368 (7.62x51 NATO) made by Steyr in 1912.  Very Good condition, with 60% or better mottled and fading bluing on all metal parts and very little apparent wear. Has bold Chilean crest above MODEL 1912-61 / NATO on receiver and a mirror-bright and strong bore. Bolt numbered A2826 (NOT matching), number on magazine floorplate also doesn't match. Walnut stock & handguard has original finish with some of the expected handling marks, faint 1912-dated cartouche on left side. Includes cleaning rod.  PHOTOS . . . $450.    C&R   

COLOMBIAN Model 1950 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 204 (7.62x51 NATO) made by Fabrique National in c.1958.   Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all metal parts and very little apparent wear. Has no receiver markings and a very bright and strong bore. Bolt numbered 389 (not matching, no other parts are numbered on these), walnut stock & handguard has original finish with some handling marks. Includes cleaning rod and original leather sling. These are commonly attributed to MOROCCO for some reason, but many I have seen have Hispanic names scratched into the stocks and many ex-Colombian military veterans have identified rifles from this lot that they were actually issued while in the Colombian Army. PHOTOS . . . $750.    C&R    SOLD

CZECH Model 1891/38 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 70254 (7.62x54R) originally mfg. by Izhevsk in 1905 and converted to carbune length (with correct carbine sights) after 1938.   Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% or better bluing on all metal parts. All matching serial numbers (the bolt body electro penciled to match), top of receiver flat has circled T (for Tschoslovakia, the old German spelling of the country). Bore is mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). CZECH Model vz23 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 3451N3 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1923.  Very Good or better condition (original finish, not reblued) with curved 3-line legend atop receiver. Most serial numbers not matching.   Bore is mostly bright and very strong,   Includes cleaning rod. Walnut stock and handguard has seen some use but is sound. Not import marked. FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G4668 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in 1966. Very Good or better condition, Parkerizing has worn to a dark gray. Has mostly bright bright bore. GERMAN Model KKW bolt-action Mauser single-shot training rifle # 228132 (.22 Long Rifle) mfg. by Gustloff Werke in c.1940. Very Good condition with 75% or so full bluing on all metal parts (less on barrel-bands and triggerguard).   Mirror-bright bore with strong rifling.  Bolt not numbered, receiver marked on top with stylized "G" logo and GUSTLOFF-WERKE over Waffenwerke Suhl, Left side of receiver has eagle over N (commercial German proof), right side of receiver marked KK Wehrsportgewehr. Tangent sight graduated to 200 meters. European walnut stock has some scratches and compressions from actual us.  PHOTO . . . $750.     C&R   

HUNGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action straight-pull steutzer carbine # 3566V (8x56R) mfg. by FÉG in 1910 as a long rifle, and shortened to carbine configuration in the early 1930's.  Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with 99% or better bluing, BUDAPEST on top of receiver.  Bore is mostly bright with dark grooves but very strong rifling. NEW ZEALAND  Model S^HT '22 IV* Lee Enfield single-shot trainer # U94734 (.22 LR) manufactured by Birmijngham Small Arms in 1918.  Excellent condition, with 95% or better oil-blacked finish on metal and a very sharp mirror-bore. Originally a SMLE Mk.III* rifle, the barrel having been replaced by a matching 1925-dated barrel and fitted with a specialized .22No.2 bolt-head. N↑Z  stamped on left side of reveiver. All numbered parts match. Magazine is empty and serves only as a repository of expended .22 casings so as to not litter the range, .22 stamped on left side. The wood has a few VERY minor bumps from handling with arsenal repairs to both heel and toe of butt (not uncommon). 8 - 26 dated brass unit disk stamped N↑Z above and 3709 below. PERSIAN Model 30 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 25836 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1939 (1317 Anno Hijera) with 18" barrel. Excellent condition with 95% bluing and matching numbered bolt having flattened and checkered knob.  Rear sight has Arabic numerals, includes cleaning-rodn and saddle-ring on left side.  Very bright bore, nice beech stock expected handling marks but no damage. Excellent arsenal refurbished condition, with 98% or better blued surfaces and a sharp extremely bright and strong bore. Matching serial numbered straight bolt (no other parts numbered).   No crest atop riceiver, small circled Z on right side of receiver and bolt-knob. POLISH Model K98 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2639X (8x57mm) mfg. by Radom in c.1940.  Near Excellent condition, with 85% or better blued surfaces and a sharp extremely bright and strong bore. Matching serial numbered small barrel bands, trigger guard and magazine floorplate, bent bolt and flattened and checkered bolt knob and is numbered 7181 (NOT matching).    No crest atop receiver, has distinctive stacking lug an front band  Stock has almost no handling marks.  Not import marked. ROMANIAN Model IMC 2 bolt-action militay training rifle # U-0417 (.22 LR) mfg. by Cugir in 1971.  Excellent condition with full bluing, a few tiny handling-marks in the wood. Bolt is matching (unusual for these), includes one 5-round magazine and hooded front sight with scope-rail above receiver.  Rear sight has folding-leaves calibrated for 25, 50 and 100 meters. SWISS Model K31 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 585401 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1939. All-matching serial numbers (including magazine).  Excellent condition (likely arsenal refinished) with 95% or better external finish and a very bright and strong bore. Walnut stock has been smoothed but still shows many scrapes and handling marks in the finish. TURKISH Model vz22 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # B1475 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1923.  Very Good or better condition (original finish, not reblued) with 60% bluing and very bold curved 3-line legend atop receiver.  Most small parts matching serial numbers (unusual) except for magazine floorplate and rear sight slider, CZ straight bolt has no visible number.  Rear sight has Arabic numbers, Turkish quarter moon symbol at top of rear sight and on bolt knob.    Bore is extremely bright and very strong,   Includes cleaning rod. Walnut stock and handguard has one dent but few handling marks, 1½" crack at rear of handguard. Reportedly exceptionally accurate.  PHOTOS . . . $425.     C&R    

TURKISH Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 18465 (8x57) reconfigured by Ankara arsenal in 1935, a large-ring Mauser with straight plum-handled bolt.  Very Good condition, with some browned bluing remaining. Rear sight has Western numerals and has no matching numbered parts (as usual).  Bore is somewhat bright and very strong, completely functional, missing cleaning rod. TURKISH Model 38 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 143464 (8x57) originally a German Gew.98 and reconfigured by Ankara arsenal in 1943 with straight bolt.  Excellent or better condition, with full bluing. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action PARADE rifle # 874489 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1919 (high-number) with SA 6-18 original barrel.  Excellent condition, most mertal parts CHROME PLATED for parade use.  Bore is excellent and extremely bright (TE = 0.0, MW = 0.0).  Walnut buttstock and handguard has basically no finish  and only light dings from storage. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48B Mauser bolt-action rifle # P86079 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in c.1956.  Excellent condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 98% or better high-gloss bluing on all metal components and a sharp mirror-bore.  Top of receiver has Tito crest above M48A, left side has PREDUZECE 44.  Bolt handle stamped П86079 (matching), magazine floorplate and left side of buttstock stamped 86079 (matching).  Beech stock has been lightly sanded with a shiny BLO-type finish by a previous owner.
