BRITISH Pattern 14 "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 313666 (.303 British) mfg. by Eddystone in c.1915.  Excellent condition with 90% or better blued finish. Bore is strong and quite bright, Walnut stock has original finish with few handling-marks. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # Y5861 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in December, 1946.  Excellent or better condition, with 100%finish intact on external metal, magazine shows wear at bottom.  Bolt handle, magazine and forend stamped Y5861 (matching). Has mirror-bright 5-groove bore and 1-marked bolt-head. Stock has very few handling marks. Includes RFI-marked bayonet and scabbard in unissued condition, left side of receiver stamped ENGLAND, else not import marked.   PHOTOS . . . $1450.     C&R       SOLD

FINN Model 91 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 354 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1895 with two [SA] property marks on barrel-shank.   Excellent condition, with 95% or so bluing and a mostly bright and strong bore (has been counterbored at muzzle to improve accuracy).  Matching bolt, buttplate and magazine floorplate scrubbed (as usual for these). Russian one-piece stock has some minor nicks and scrapes but is sound. Includes cleaning rod and metal sling swivels with leather sling. PHOTOS . . . $875.*     Antique, no FFL required     SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 52450 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by VKT on a scrubbed hexagonal receiver. Very Good or better condition with most bluing remaining. Bolt-knob stamped 2450 (matching). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. GERMAN Kar. 98 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 2329a (8x57mm), mfg. by Erfurt in 1913.  Very Good or better condition with all matching serial numbers except front band and bayonet lug (a result of the forend being duffle-cut). Bolt has bent-down handle and knob is flattened and checkered on the bottom. Bore is strong and very bright, Weimar markings very clear. Stock has clear cartouches on right side, with some scrapes, stains and handling marks, well-done duffle-cut repair 1/2" forward of barrel band on forend. Not import marked. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 9921k (8x57) mfg. by Sauer & Son (code S/147) in 1937.  Very Good or better condition, with most bluing intact, Nazi markings with Weimar eagles and one Eagle holding swastika proof on right side.  No matching serial numbers, stamped rear barrel-band, else all milled parts. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2746 (8x57) mfg. by Bystrica (code dou 45) in early 1945.  Excellent condition, as issued with non-matching bolt. All markings clear (bold eagle holding swastika stamped only on left side of barrel), gorgeous mirror-bright bore.  Has all un-numbered stamped parts, magazine floorplate and triggerguard stamped qnw. Very attractive late laminated stock with cupped buttplate (no provision for cleaning rod or bayonet), includes worn 98k sling with buckle and front sight hood.  Not import marked.  PHOTO . . . $1350.     C&R    SOLD

JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine Series 5, # 64368 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura from June 1941 - September 1942. Excellent condition with all original bluing remaining. Mum has been ground. Bayonet-lug and bolt (and all bolt parts) stamped 368 (matching). Bore is very bright and rifling is very strong,  Includes cleaning rod, wood has original finish with very few of the expected dings and handling marks.  Not import-marked. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 5, # 76483 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in mid 1943. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing (some minor areas of verdigris) and has very bright and strong chrome-lined bore.  Mum has been defaced with two knife or chisel strikes but is very visible.  Includes rod, no provision for monopod but rear sight has "airplane wings". Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered 483 (as is bayonet lug). Stock has original finish with some of the expected handling marks from actual wartime usage,  Not import-marked, includes correct bayonet & scabbard. PHOTO . . . $650.    C&R      SOLD

JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 20 # 29440 (7.7x58) mfg. at Kokura in April 1941 - March 1942. Near Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt and bolt parts numbered 782 (not matching), mum has only one knife strike to deface it, but mum is clearly visible.  This type has ladder peep rear sight without aircraft wings, monopod-type rear barrel-band (without monopod) and inverted V front sight (with guards). Missing short cleaning rod, bore is chrome-lined and mirror-bright. Stock and handguard has original finish with some of the expected handling marks. PHOTO . . . $525.    C&R    SOLD

PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # P4097 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1939 (1317 Anno Hijera). Excellent condition, with all-matching serial numbers. Internally perfect with a mirror-perfect bore.  Wood is walnut with nice grain and a beautiful furniture-type finish.  Some very minor contact-marks and small inventory stamps but no cracks, the metal finish inside and out is literally flawless.   PHOTOS. . . $1350.*     C&R      SOLD

ROMANIAN Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # DR804 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1938.  Excellent arsenal refurbished condition with a very sharp bright bore. Romanian crest above chamber has been mostly scrubbed (as usual). Bluing is 95% or better, bolt handle electro-penciled to match, stock stamped to match.  Walnut stock looks new, handguard has several small chips on left side. SOVIET Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # GI131 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Tula in 1941. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with a strong mostly bright bore. Numbers on parts (except magazine) electro-penciled to match barrel during refurb, receiver is grooved for scope-mount, features 4-slotted muzzle-break. Stock and handguard have very few handling marks and has all remaining Russian shellac intact,  Includes cleaning-rod and correct web sling, 10-round magazine and SVT-40 bayonet and scabbard in worn (with some etching on the blade) but useable condition. SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # EA501 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1952.  Excellent-PLUS refurbished example with 100% black painted finish and a chromed mirror-bright bore.  All matching serial numbers, bolt-carrier has been blackened during refurb process, blade-bayonet still bright. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-45891 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1956. Excellent condition, with 98% blued metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Matching serial numbered bolt (no other parts numbered), crest atop receiver extremely clear. Stock and handguard has original finish and is quite handsome with just a few minor dings from adjacent rifles, a very small crack at rear of handguard. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 59104 (6.5x55) by Carl Gustaf in 1914. Excellent condition, with a bright and very strong bore, has muzzle extension (required for importation).  All parts except nose-cap numbered 104. The sling-buckle is still attached and intact. The wood has a 1" x 2" repair behind trigger guard. with intact brass unit disk on right side.  Includes correct bayonet with locking scabbard. Not import-marked. SWISS Model 96/11 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 245391 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1899, top of stock stamped ST. GALLEN (a Canton in Northeastern Switzerland). All-matching serial numbers including magazine.  Near Excellent condition with most original bluing (wear only on bottom of magazine and triggerguard from carry) and a near-perfect mirror-bore. Walnut stock and handguard appears to have original finish with some scrapes and handling marks acquired over the past 124 years. Includes worn leather sling and brass and steel muzzle-cap. SWISS Model K11 Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull cavalry carbine # 108030 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1922. Near Excellent condition with 85% or better external bluing and a perfect, mirror bore with aluminum and steel muzzle cap and correct leather sling with quick release buckle.
