ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action sporterized rifle # H6271 (7.65x54) mfg. by Loewe in 1896. Excellent condition, with 90% bluing, crest atop receiver has been removed (as usual). All matching serial numbers including stock, bore is mirror-bright with very strong rifling. Barrel has been cropped from 29" to 22", walnut stock has been shortened.  Includes French military leather sling. BRAZILIAN Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 6794 (7x57) mfg. by DWM  in 1910.  Very Good or so condition with 70% bluing (receiver "in the white" which is proper). Bent-down bolt and triggerguard matching, magazine floorplate and buttstock is not. Worn but clear Brazilian crest above chamber. BRAZILIAN REBELLION Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 6000Tt (7x57) mfg. by DWM, Oberndorf  in 1910.  Very Good condition with 60% bluing. Straight bolt and magazine floorplate not matching, bore is extremely bright with very strong rifling. Bold Brazilian crest above chamber, right side of receiver deeply stamped PM 01318.16 (Policia Militar with their new rack number). Streaked walnut buttstock and handguard has original finish. BRAZILIAN REBELLION Model 1908 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 9093c (7x57) mfg. by DWM  in 1910.  Very Good condition with 60% bluing. Straight bolt and magazine floorplate not matching, bore is dark and rough but has strong rifling. Strong Brazilian crest above chamber, right side of receiver deeply stamped PM 01333.16 (Policia Militar with their new rack number). CHILEAN Model 1895 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # F9905 (7x57) mfg. by Ludwig Loewe in 1895 with 29" barrel and straight-bolt. Very Good condition, with 50% or so bluing on the metal (some wear on receiver and triggerguard). Excellent bore with very strong rifling and mirror-bright lands and grooves. Bolt and cleaning-rod is mismatched, Chilean crest above chamber faint but discernable. CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # D5 8586 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1938.  Excellent original condition with a very sharp and bright bore. Very bold Czech national crest (two-tailed rampant lion) atop chamber. Metal has mostly full finish, no matching serial numbers, walnut stock has many handling marks but is sound. CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 3674T4 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in 1938.  Excellent condition with a very sharp if not very bright bore. Czech national crest (two-tailed rampant lion) atop chamber has been scrubbed (but is still partially visible). Reblued with full finish, mismatched bolt, no number on stock, but round disk on right side stamped 9F 4634. Walnut stock has been lightly sanded. Includes cleaning rod and front sight protector. FINN Model 96 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 483886 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1920 with straight bolt and unthreaded muzzle, [SA] stamped on left side of receiver.  Excellent condition, with 90% or better strong bluing on all metal parts. Has strong markings and a bright and strong bore  (disk marked 6.50/0).  Only barrel-bands and buttplate stamped 886 (matching), other numbered parts stamped and re-stamped with various 3-digit numbers. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # T09971 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1931. Excellent condition, with all-matching Arabic serial numbers. Internally perfect with a mirror-perfect bore, wood is streaked walnut with some contact-marks and abrasions from palletizing and a couple small inventory-stamps.  PHOTOS  . . . $925.   C&R    SOLD

ROMANIAN Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 8462 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1938.  Very Good condition with a very sharp if kind of rough and not very bright bore. Romanian crest above chamber has been scrubbed (as usual). Bluing is 75% or better, no matching serial numbers (stock restamped to match).  Walnut stock has many dings and handling marks, but is sound with no cracks. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-02066 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by La Coruña in 1947. Excellent-PLUS condition, nicely refinished with 100% gray cerakote metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Matching bolt, crest atop receiver bold and clear. Besides having been refinished with gray cerakote, a large cannon-type muzzle-break has been added (original issue muzzle-break is also included).
